Below you will see what Hasbro sent us regarding all the reveals we saw earlier today. You have all the official product descriptions below followed by images. The Netflix preorders are currently up. That second wave is rather peculiar since it includes three new toys that we are unsure whether or not they will be available elsewhere. Those are Elita-1, Bumblebee and Earth mode Soundwave.

HUBCAP is a character with some serious identity issues. Not only is he often confused with BUMBLEBEE for being of similar size and color, but the original 1986 mail-away mislabeled him as CLIFFJUMPER. Not that anyone knew who Hubcap was at the time anyway. Though he appeared in the 1986 Mini-Vehicle assortment, he was only introduced into TRANSFOMERS entertainment in 2007 with the release of IDW’s MEGATRON Origin Issue #3. Generations Selects is a fan-dedicated line of figures featuring special edition characters that can’t be found in the main line. The WFC-GS13 HUBCAP figure will be available at select retailers, online, and for pre-order on HasbroPulse.com beginning July 17, 2020 at 11AM EST.

Surprisingly, out of all these reveals, the one that move me the most is rotorstorm, that is not exactly new news. He was an easy pass before, as i saw it just a straight repaint of spinister. But then that new, correct head, boy, it really changed my opinion, more than i thought it would.

still not fully sold on ironhide, but dat prowl tho, hes sold. and now I need to make my siege prowl sold lol. I do like that these remakes of siege figures are exclusives and not main line. Makes it burn just slightly less

the only one for me that is a hard pass (at least for now) is the netflix leader box. Ultra magnus was a cool paintjob and all, but we knew it was at least ultra magnus. most people wanted it for the "spoilers" which just ended up being some lines from the show printed on the box in cybertronian. some people were very let down by this.

To do the same thing again, only to not even know whats in the box just puts a sour taste in my mouth. I was a fan of blind box toys untill they started getting expensive, which I was adamantly against. so a $60 blind box? All kinds of NO.

though I am nagged by the notion of "what's in the box?" I'm sure it's a con.

the walmart listing does have some interesting tidbits. I am at work so I couldnt watch the livestream, so IDK if these were brought up there, but heres what walmart says about the contents:

Includes: 2 figures, compound, 9 accessories, and instructions.
Figure scale: 7 inches
Ages 8 and up
Warning: Choking Hazard - Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
CONTAINS WHEAT.
COMPOUND NET WT. 5 OZ (142g)
Not intended to be eaten.
Non-toxic. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.

there is a wrench in the shockwave theory now. according to the walmart listing:

CLASSIC TRANSFORMERS CONVERSION: This toy converts to vehicle mode in 34 steps, the included Battle Masters figure converts to weapon mode in 6 steps

shockwave's conversion is 28 steps.

trying to find who has 34 steps. not doubledealer, ultra magnus comes close if you add up 2 of the modes on his box, but not really

I just did a quick check and there is no Leader in Siege or Earthrise currently that has 34 steps. Closest is Doubledealer with 37

thats what I came up with too. theres got to be something else they are adding then, otherwise this would indicate a new mold. now WAY this wouldn't just be a repaint though. hasbro wouldn't drop a new leader figure without some fanfare now... would they?

Only possibility is *if* there is a new Leader slated for wave 4 of ER, (which will presumably be revealed before this figure's release in October), and this is it's redeco.

The only other thing may be to compre Siege UM packaging with the Netflix UM packaging and see if their "Transformation steps" are the same or not.

Still, it would be extremely unusual to have Netflix deco of a new Leader, before its standard release. I mean this isn't a SDCC Throne of the Primes after all... ;)

Right off the hop, when I saw Netflix Soundwave, I was mad. It's a 50/50 split between Hasbro and myself. I got SEIGE Soundwave because I thought that he was the best verion we were going to get, and you could get a pretty decent fan-mode Cybertronian boombox out of him. Really regretting buy SEIGE Soundwave now. (But, hey, who could have predicted that Hasbro would actually give us something like this?)

Other than that, I hope Ironhide gets a single release, as I can live with his retool. It is is MUCH better than the Combiner Wars mold that I have!

Super happy that we're finally getting a G1, VW Beetle Bumblebee! The kibble isn't terrible, but I'm glad that I didn't pick up the Bumblebee movie version. Bee will scale very nicely and look great with the rest of my Generations figures.

given the much darker colors of the box, and the purple "glowing" artwork seems more likely to be a decepticon. I think a decepticon repaint of UM, though not impossible, would really piss collectors off. seems unlikely for hasbro to go that malicious. not impossible, but not too likely.

I might buy Elita-1 who I'll repurpose as Areal since Elita should be a VOYAGER! If that new Soundwave's eyes were red instead of yellow again it would've been more tempting but him and the rest of those NETFLIX figures are a pass.

Other than the ER Seekers I'm not buying another character that I already bought last year via SIEGE.

just realized the new spiler box image on walmart does flash a decepticon symbol on top, so decepticon confirmed. magnus had an autobot on top. and magnus himself on the side.

a thought has occurred to me. we do have a lot of hints pointing to a specific g1 character getting a new toy (despite having one recently that had mixed feelings atached toit) between now and the kingdom line. Would make sense for him to be a decepticon leader class, and while earthrise would make more sense for him, we do basically now have earthrise figs in the siege netflix line. And since he hasnt been anounced yet, as previously stated it would make sense to keep him secret untill actually being announced in the main line.

"Megatron? Is that you?"

I'm pretty sure it's Astrotrain because Optimus is there as a voyager. If it's Doubledealer, even without the cassettes minions but with a Battlemaster, it would be much more interesting.

As for that Optimus, it will be the ER almost leader price (10$CAN less) without the trailer but with two(?) Battlemasters or one Micromaster. Not too bad when we think about it.

It's implied in the trailer that Shockwave has to experiment on somebody to make the theory Megatron can reboot all the Autobots into Decepticons. It could be that Magnus was the experiment if you go by the 2nd trailer.

Speculation, but there's stuff out there to support it. That and there are 34 steps in a Magnus transformation.

So let me get this straight - the Siege netflix version of Optimus, which has a screen model that’s based on the Siege figure down to the 5mm ports, is a seemingly unchanged ER Optimus without the trailer?

Considering that both Netflix Prime and Soundwave are earth modes, though, I wonder if they’re actually preview figures for the ER show and not for Siege. Or maybe we’ll see their earth modes at the end of Siege.

Anyway, I’ll probably pick up the Bumblebee, although the partsforming is disappointing. Wasn’t there an upgrade kit/piece for Cliffjumper that allows you to transform it without removing the back?

Edit: I also checked the description for the magnus spoiler box, and it says he transforms in 26 steps.

Glad to have the seeker 2 pk preordered without having to constantly check for meaningless "You're items are back in stock..." emails, or hounding employees to find boxes in back of a store.
Can't believe I ever tried to fool myself that I may hold-off on this set... Even though I was tempted by ER Smokescreen... I'll pass on him now that I just dropped another $65.

I'm going to pass on all of the reveals unless the spoiler figure is Galvatron. But even then that'll depend on how he looks. Don't you all think there's a chance it's him considering Cyclonus is on the way?
It'll be really lame & a big disappointment if it's Shockwave.

Ironhide looks good, but no way do I want that 2 pack.
I guess the only one I'm considering is Soundwave... And what's surprising is that I may get him for the alt mode!
I won't ever take my MP to my workplace, so I think it would be awesome to have this new version as a tape recorder on a shelf behind my desk.
I can admit it's a small nit-pick, but I really dislike the yellow eyes of the bot mode... Although it's really good overall.
If I see him in a store, I could see giving in. Won't surprise me if that happens, just like the exclusive cell painted versions of Prime and Megatron were readily available in store.

Other than that, bring on Thrust!!

Yes, 26 steps to put the armor on, but the truck and the small robot = 34. He's going to come in robot mode.

Also, there is a kit to stop the partsforming for Cliffjumper. I forget who made it, but I saw it on youtube.

Doubting the mystery leader will be galvatron as he technically doesnt have a vehicle mode (unless they go against the grain and give him one). Evil galxy upgrade is my guess or astro train with a carriage of some sort.
Wave 2 has buckled the trend with bee and elita so it could be an all new leader.

But I also think it's possible that they're always going to refer to an alt mode as "vehicle mode" no matter what...
Definitely could be wrong about that... Maybe that's more just part of my hope that it is in fact Galvatron.
But I also wouldn't be surprised if any future release of Galvatron has some sort of vehicle alt mode instead of a cannon alt mode.
Imo, talk about a figure who is deserving of a proper update!!

theres no telling. the general feeling is that it is shockwave, or decepticon ultra magnus. both would be insulting, though ultra magnus probably more so. but the transformation steps dont add up for either, unless you fudge the numbers.

also I think the cybertronian on the front of the box reads fangtron giza.... so.. Nemesis Prime?

I'm more of a fan of Decepticons (which has really helped streamline my collecting habits),
so if this ends up being Nemesis Prime, I would be interested!
Good guess based on the text... I'm hoping that something with giza and "...tron" could be referring to Galvatron.
Seriously, it's going be a slap in the face if it's Magnus or Shockwave.

Awesome, the gamble of preordering Rotorstorm last time and assuming the head would be fixed has paid off! They made too big a deal of the head in the product description for them to not fix it, I think, but I get some people were skeptical.

Dirge and Ramjet are already preordered, as well as Hubcap, and Exhaust and Greasepit will be on their way shortly, I presume.

Bee is more Cliffjumper-like than I was expecting after Warden kept saying they wouldn't share a mold, but I was never intending to get Bee and I don't have CJ anyway, so that doesn't matter to me. What does matter is that that mold looks like it'll make a pretty killer Bug Bite.

The only thing I actually disliked about this is no Tetrajet Sunstorm, everything else is cool or just not for me (or is a mystery Decepticon in a big box that I cannot trust).

EDIT: Upon going back and looking at Pulse, Greasepit has gone from being listed as in stock to being a pre-order for the 4th of next month?
