Wow -- those are looking really, really good to me. They might call him Heavytread, but I see Brawl! I'm thinking Skyhammer looks like someone to me too, but I can't quite place the resemblance.

Not that I have any problem repurposing figures, but Hasbro could make these buying decisions so much easier for me by explicitly naming these guys after appropriate G1/G2 counterparts. :)

I agree with everyone else that Heavytread looks A LOT like Brawl. I thought the same thing right after I saw the pics. I'm planning to pick up my first PCC Two-Packs this week sometime. Hopefully if they grow on me I'll add these two to me connection when the release. They both look great.

Sorry folks, but with a recent discussion on the Movie Brwl/Firetrap, Heavytread has me thinkin' Guzzle. TThough arguably, all of those G1 tanks were limited to the same basic tranformations. Plus, thr ecout class is too small to match up to the other COmbaticons we've gotten so far. (Onslaught, Swindle)

skyhammer ALMOST looks good but i dunno really. . .

but lets face it this article is all about heavytread who. looks. AWESOME. weapon is sorta weird i mean what is it supposed to be? but who cares about a weapon when you have a giant tank death cannon on your back!

I was actually thinking along the lines of Armada Cyclonus...but I'd have to see a lot closer to be sure on that...

I'm actually impressed with these...very impressed. More money gone... :ic$:

See, this is exactly what I like about this line. Hasbro are creating a bunch of NEW characters instead of retreading the same old ground that has been covered a bajillion times before.

I love that new brawl figure. I swear to god, if there is an old school connector buried somewhere in that guy for Bruticus Maximus I might just... freak out!

I think they both look great, although I don't like Groundspike or Airlift.

That's exactly what I did w/ Huffer. Fits in nicely w/ my Classics collection. And I did paint those neon blue tabs black, which is what Hasbro should have done in the first place. Why a blue that practically glows in the dark :???:

I like groundspike because he's a melee weapon and seems fairly functional and thought out as a vehicle weapon. Airlift looks like a tougher Chopster/Razorbeam and no discernible difference between his robot weapon and vehicle weapon modes.

I can't wait for more 2-packs. PLEASE make more 2-packs Hasbro! (Not Repaints!)

It would be cool if FANSPROJECT would engineer a way to make an attachment for Heavytread (AKA G1 Brawl) to be combined with the Bruticus set. i wouldnt suppose it would be that hard as the PCC figures are within that size (I would have to see a comparison) but I can picture him with the add on appendages my bruticus already has...it would be AWESOME!!! man it feels GOOD to be an old school G1 Fan...:KREMZEEK:

On another note HASBRO PLEASE MAKE A GENERATIONS SLUGSLINGER FIGURE!!! :CON:

Realized last night after going to bed that the general profile of the tank, with the turret pushed back, and the small size, that this could be repainted successfully as G1 Warpath. The head sculpt already seems close even.

Be nice to have him to throw in with ROTF Beachcomber, PCC Huffer, HFTD Hubcap, and HFTD Windcharger. Given, they'll all look out of place with deluxe Bumblebee & Cliffjumper and a voyager-class Seaspray standing nearby, but it would still be neat.

Obviously, being Seibertron's only PCC fanboy, these two are definate buys. I can only hope the third guy is just as good looking as these two are.

True, QC has been an issue, but the 2-packs are the better of the two types of PCC. This knowledge increases my joy on these two guys. I am curious why theres only two shown, since every other wave consists of three 2-packs and two 5-packs.

Oh well, if there's a third guy, I'll be even happier. if it's only two, my wallet will be happy.

Ya, 'cause we really can get galleries up of PCCs that have yet to be released. Look, you ain't going to get the galleries up any faster unless you ship me Generations Blurr or an Animated Arcee. If you're not, just sit back and enjoy the site like the rest of us. Also Seibertron isn't biased towards PCC. For me, yeah I think they're plastic best used to build something else, but I'll still buy them for the fun of it. Ryan on the other hand, I just don't think he cares in general, there's the rest of the 2010 Transformers toys that need lovin'.

I was originally thinking the plane was an Autobot but there's a Decepticon symbol on his robot mode. Got nothing on the Tank but I'm sure he's a 'con as well.

the wave 1 and 2 Minicons that I have are solid, but somebody on here mentioned the head of his Caliburst breaking off.

I've transformed mine several times into each mode without problem though, so unless the quality drops, groundspike and Airlift should be good to go.

I have had no problems with the QC on the PCC Minicons in spite of their clear-plastic construction - although, I've only found three, so thats a very small n. Come to it, I've not had any QC problems with the PCC figures at all, but I haven't gotten any of the larger sets with the drones.

It occurs to me that the worst thing about the PCC minicons is also the best. They have no immediately recognizable alternate modes, most of their transformations seem to equate to assuming a yoga pose vaguely representative of something (like when some of us use to try and pretend we were transformers as children), but this means that even the most scale-obsessed fan can have them standing next to their bulk partners without the aneurysm inducing inconsistency of seeing a race car TF carrying a crossbow made out of a nuclear submarine.
