Official Images for Botbots Series 4 5 packs and 8 packs

So taking a look at what is in each blind pack, 5-pack, 8-pack and the gumball/claw, it looks like you will need both of the gumball and both of the claw unboxing packs in order to get a complete set of series 4 botbots. Frostfetti Frostyface, Crumbly Yumbly, Mr. Memory Banks and the Cobbler are all in a different pack in the clear capsules, and only appear to be included in the gumball and claw machine packs.

So for anyone looking to complete Series 4, I would recommend starting with the unboxing packs and fill in the rest from there.

Funny you mention that. I just got my 3rd and 4th of the gumball dispenser packs from Amazon today. I originally ordered 2 each of the claw and gumball sets thinking/hoping Amazon would send an unopened case, which arrived Saturday with one each of the claw sets, 2 of the same gumball sets. Tried my luck and ordered 2 more, and got one of each. So I'll be heading to Kohls to return 2 of them in the next few days.

So I was snooping around Entertainment Earth's listing for the Botbots Series 4 5-packs and 8-packs to see if they were in stock when I noticed that they are using "wave" instead of "series" like on the packaging, but also, they have the 5-packs as wave 4, but the 8-packs as wave 5, both coming in January 2020. But I also noticed couple Listings for Botbots wave 4 8-packs without any photos yet and due in February 2020.

I think they actually mixed up the waves on these listings and actually gave us some sneak peek info on some new tribe themes for series 4.

So I'll call it now, Burrito Favrito from series 4 will be redecoed into an egg roll for sure. I just hope they don't get lazy and also redeco Pucksy yet another time into sushi, that mold has been in every series so far, give it a rest.

While Botbots Series 4 is only recently hitting shelves and online retail, listings for Series 5 have already started to appear at Entertainment Earth. While you may have just clicked that and noticed its "wave 4" verbiage, eagle-eyed Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 gave us a heads up that this listing appears to really be for Series 5, as its described contents are for two teams not yet released in previous assortments. TF-fan kev777 explains what to look for below:

Botbots is no stranger to food-themed teams, with Series 1 teams like the Greaser Gang and the latest Series 4 team the Los Deliciosos, so there are plenty of repaint and retool opportunities in the existing group to support another food-themed set.

Thanks to a tip from our pal Diem on Twitter, we're happy to let you know that long after their release in other parts of the world, the elusive Botbots Lawn League 8-Packs are now available to order on Amazon.com and are listed as shipping in the near future. These "Series 1.5" color-change packs were available overseas last year and have been tough to find even on eBay and other secondary market sources, commanding high prices when they were available. While the 5-Packs have been up for grabs on Amazon since this past fall, these packs don't allow collectors to complete the Lawn League team, leaving these 8-Packs as being necessary to complete the set.



Two different 8-Packs are available, with only one of them providing all of the Botbots that a collector would need. Amazon does not allow a choice of which set you get, so many collectors will opt to order two of these sets to increase their chances of completing the team - though there are no guarantees as some collectors may receive two duplicates that are both the less desired option, but hey, that's what return policies are for.

Best of luck to all Seibertronians going after these previously hard to come by Botbots!

Whoo-Hoo!!!!! At long last! Ordered 2, hoping for 1 of each.

Not sure if this is news worthy or not, but I spotted the Botbots unboxing gumball machine 10-packs (6-packs really) at Target today so they appear to have arrived at US retail.

Although i dont collect these, i think the designs and concepts they come up with are great. I mean, come on a push mower bot... brilliant!

Yup, that's Grass Guzzler. I love how he's getting his engine-butt cooled off by the watering can (Nozzlesnot) in the pic at the top of the package.

Fellow Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 has found the Botbots series 4 special multi packs Target. For those unaware, there are two different Claw Machine boxes and two different Gumball Machine boxes. Each has five regular BotBots, four stickers, and one rare Gold BotBot.

I’ve been avidly collecting Botbots and I grabbed two of the Claw and two of the Gumball from Amazon, since each set has two assortments, for a total of four different ones. Waiting on the 5 and 8 packs to hit shelves so I can sift through them and not gamble with online randomness. I made a checklist using the Botbot list on tfwiki and I’m ready to pick and choose.

I've got all 4 already, and if you want to complete the whole series, you will end up needing both claw and both gumball variants as well. Tfwiki has you covered as far as what is in each package of all the the Series 4 packs.

Sigh, got 2 of the same. Ordered 2 more, hopefully at least one of them will be for the one I don't have and then I can return the 2 extras to Kohls. So I completed Series 1.5 this week and noticed something on the instructions I wasn't sure if anyone else pointed out yet. It looks like Hasbro is considering these as part of Series 1 if the instructions are considered official. Take a look at the instructions that came with the Lawn League 8-pack. Notice at the top the increased the number of bots for Series 1 to account for the Lawn League and Bakery Bites. And at the bottom, they included each of the tribes for the checklist.

Spotted these at a local Target in Virginia. Already posted them in my state sighting but just sharing on here.

I love the BotBots. They have great designs. But has anybody else noticed something odd about Smore N'More? Does her anatomy seem like it's more pose-able than it maybe should be?

Separate note. I love Crumbly Yumbly so much. Just a really solid and clean design. I also love his bio on the Transformers sight. I relate so much.

That is an interesting one! Smores looks like it is pretty dang posable, more so than others.

Within the past two weeks, this new series of Botbots has been quietly making its way across the world and now we rounded up all the news about it, just to get us all up to date.

For starters, this 5th series continues the gold rush games and the bubble will be yellow (chartreuse). It is made up of redecos, retools and new molds with new themes like air travel and asian food.

After seeing Starscream post in the botbots thread about an online retailer having some Series 5 in stock and on pre-order, I checked entertainment earth and they have the 8-packs in stock as well along with photos and the new tribe names.

The generic travel group is the Frequent Flyers and the generic Asian food group is the Hibachi Heats

The website has its wires crossed though, since the orders for what they call wave 5 are here but the listings with mages of wave 5 are here. That later listing, even though wrongly named, has the right info pertaining to series 5 inside.

The 5 packs were found at Target in the US within this time as well and bearytrek wrote in to let us know (that is his photo we see below). Those are the Party Favors and Los Deliciosos teams.

Series 5 was first found in the UK before any official announcement.

Apparently the crossed wires are because the cases for these are labeled series 4. This has led to some speculation (I stress that it's just speculation) that this wave wasn't even supposed to ship to retail until April.

As part of the Hasbro Toyfair preview press release we have a nice surprise, the reveal of the new Botbots tribes! From Botbots series 5, participating in the Goldrush Games, meet the Frequent Flyers, the Hibotchi Heats, the Cardio Clique, the Party Favors, and Los Deliciosos! The Frequent Flyers bots are themed as items you might take with you while traveling such as a backpack, sun glasses, camera (that is slightly reminiscent of Reflector color-wise) and travel pillow, while the Hibotchi Heats are food themed bots you might come across at a hibachi style restaurant as the names suggest.

With pre-orders going live it shouldn't be too long until we start seeing the series 5 8-packs pop up at brick and mortar retail as well. Keep your eyes peeled!

Found the wave 5 8-packs on a target run for groceries yesterday.

Yes! Me, too! It's funny because some stores around here still have Wave 1 packs. Also, since I wasn't expecting to find them any time soon, I never looked up the "recommended buys" for this wave to see which ones entailed the least number of purchases to collect all the figures. Ergo, I stood there for about ten minutes debating which ones to buy, slowly whittling down my choices to four, then two simply based on which ones appeared in the fewest packs. Turns out the last two I eliminated were the "recommended buys," and the two I bought were superfluous. The figures I'd assumed were rare were going to be readily available in the five-packs.

I spent a good 15 minutes in store trying to read tfwiki on my phone and determine who the hell each one was to figure out which 5 I needed. It was a pain, but a success. I'll be using them as rewards for my youngest (and me) for good behavior during the shutdown.

The Series 5 Botbots 5-pack are available and in stock on Amazon. Well most of them anyway. The Party Favors and Los Deliciosos are both up and in stock. No sign of the Cardio Clinique yet, but I'm sure they won't be too far behind.

The botbots series 5 5-packs consists of 3 teams, which are the Party Favors, the Los Deliciosos, and the Cardio Clinique, each of which contain cute little botbots that transform quite easily from an item fitting that description to a little robot. While we do not yet have the Cardio Clinique listing ready and in stock, the Party Favor's and the Los Deliciosos' are ready for you to purchase them and continue to build your Botbot army!

Seibertron.com was provided by Hasbro with a Promotional Box containing a large batch of the Series 4 and 5 Botbots, advertised under the moniker of "Goldrush Games". It appears that this set of Botbots is meant to be a large training and gaming set, and to go along with that, the Transformers Official Youtube Page uploaded an exclusive stop-motion video showcasing all the botbots in the set training in the gym for the Goldrush Games. We get to see a lot of fun stuff in this roughly two and a half minute long video, including some boxing, some lifting, some sword fights, and more!

We have word of a story in Newsweek magazine regarding one of the more interesting lines in all of Transformerdom, BotBots! The article touches briefly on the origin of Transformers brand as a whole, but mostly describes how the Transformers BotBots line from Hasbro came to be - what the inspiration was, and how the design team, led by Senior Design Director Marcelino Paulino,comes up with the figures, and the backstory. Also interviewed is Senior Director of Global Brand Marketing Ben Montano

The idea of BotBots and how they came to be stemmed from a meeting in the office of Senior Director of Global Brand Marketing Ben Montano. Talking with his team of designers, [Paulino] posed a simple question: "how do we create everyday objects that have more than meets the eye feel and what would it look like?"

Montano, in particular, is also quite a fan of the silly nature of the BotBots line.

"We wanted to keep the property a little bit loose, Paulino's team really brought what an apple or a sneaker brought to life would be," Montano said. "The seriousness that is most of our storytelling. just felt like it wasn't the best place to play here."

I see BotBots as nothing more but Shopkinformers, though the photos taken with them have tons of imagination and creativity when used with other figures.

For those of us with kinds who love the Botbots and reading (or for us grown-up who love backstories), there is a Botbots level 3 reading book on Amazon for pre-order due for release in July. I already secured one for my youngest's birthday in August, so the timing is perfect with me.

I don't collect the line but there was one that I had to have; Steve from Accounting. It's been months now and not one person from work has asked about the mini-stapler sitting on my PC tower . . .

Greetings Seibertronians! This one goes out to the fans of Transformers BotBots, one of the more popular recent additions to the Transformers franchise and a boon to those who love posing their transformers in amusing situations, like Beast Wars Masterpiece Megatron with his rubber duckie.

Target have updated one of their BotBot listings as Series 6 Caffine Collective, listing it similar to others in the series so far and mentioning this name repeatedly in the product descriptions. We knew from the last Toy Fair that series 6 was happening but this gives us the name and theme of one of the new teams. The pictures used for the item though are those advertising series 5, the gold rush games.

Anyone buying this will not receive this series 6 Team. Instead they'll receive Series 5 Hibochi Heats 8-Packs.

This team isn't out yet and hasn't been officially revealed by Hasbro. All we have is this name.

I'm not sure if anyone really cares at this point, but we did get confirmation that The series 1 Lost Bots Dimlit and Bonz-eye were both from the Shed Heads tribe and there was no series 1 Lost Bot from the Jock Squad.

The source is the Lost Bots book that came out and I've been reading to my youngest every night this week.

Botbots vehicles are coming! While we have very little details, we now have an image to go with some product codes referring to Transformers Botbots vehicles. These seem to be $20 sets where a botbots can have their own vehicles to drive. We've seen this in the tail end of the G1 era with transformers having their own vehicles and now they are bringing this playstyle back for a new generation. The image is below featuring what they call the Ruckus gang. We can see the vehicle Pizza and the Vehicle controller, which resembles the Batwing of sorts. You an view the various codes and pricepoints for those and other upcoming Botbot toys. Seems like this line is coming back in a big way.
