Another day, another reveal! Ariiel Zanabria is at it again, with a new set of official images, over at The Ragin Nation Facebook page. This time? The Stinger. This is part of the 1 Step line for smaller kids, with the simplified transformations. (Think Gravity Bots, but much cooler looking.)

We've mirrored the images below and clicking on each one will take you to The Ragin Nation Facebook page.

In before fanrage - If you're looking at this figure and expecting Generations quality, you're looking in the wrong place. This toy is obviously not for you, nor is it doing anything wrong by existing. All three previous movie lines had merchandise like this, so we should all be used to it by now. It is fruitless to get mad over something that you won't be collecting, so kindly let those who are interested in this stuff have their fun, thank you. :)

Any idea as to how large Stinger is (and these one-step guys in general)? Aesthetically, he looks like he could fit in with Cyberverse, which I assume is dead and gone at this point.

Based on the videos and images from Toy Fair, I'd guess no smaller than a Deluxe. Maybe a small Voyager size.

There are variable sizes within the 1 Step line. So we'll see Deluxe, Voyager and Supreme sizes. Grimlock is in the Supreme Class size.

From what I can tell, Hound looks like a shell-former and Slash looks terribly mistransformed.

It amuses me that an alien robot Raptor has "feathers", especially when the people working on Jurassic Park 4 claimed their 'real' Raptors wouldn't have any.

Since when does bay care about realism? He only does stuff cause he thinks it looks cool even if its completely ludicrous. Just look at how the bots look & transforms, all you have to do to stop a bayformer is throw a metal pipe at him half way through transforming.

We get it, you dislike anything Bay has his name under :michaelbay:

The people who worked on Jurassic Park also called the raptors Velociraptors, when in reality Velociraptors were a foot and a half tall and actually did have feathers.

i liked armageddon, the rock & both bad boys movies so youre wrong on that account. Yes i hate bayformers with a passion and always will cause its made a mockery of the franchise & its the starting point of all the problems we've had over the years, but i have no problem with his directing style nor have i ever stated that. Im just tired of him throwing stupid shit in the movies just because it looks cool. If your going to give me an alien robot make it believable not just flashy & gimmicky.

I hope Stinger there gets a 'proper' deluxe figure. I really like his design.

And Galvatron... um... wow, up close it's clear how cheap they're getting with the plastic. Guess I won't know whether to buy him or not until I have him in hand.

Oh dear.

The only figure from the AOE line I have seen so far that takes my interest is the G1 looking Prime. These two look pretty kiddy friendly which is the point of the toys so I cant complain.

I will be sticking to Generations and Masterpiece figures.

One figure... I had enthusiasm and hope for ONE FIGURE out of the entire AoE line and 98% of that just went right down the toilet after seeing the pics of Prime. I can forgive or at least turn a blind eye to a great many of Hasbro's failings over the years but not this. This is the toy tribute equivalent of pissing on someones grave. The ONE THING that Bay did absolutely right out of the entire franchise, the one ounce of respect he showed to the first generation of Transformer fans and Hasbro goes and f***s it up!

Thank goodness the only other figure I have any interest in isn't going to see the light of day in robot mode if I pick it up. Sadly though, I'll probably have to pass on that too. If Hasbro can find a way to screw up a voyager class Prime in BOTH modes then the Deluxe Class '67 Camaro Bumblebee has about a snowballs chance in hell of coming out decent looking in vehicle mode.

Two observations:

(1) AOE Grimlock's head sculpt is *this close* to being TMNT Shredder.

(2) Evasion Optimus looks a lot like Kre-O Optimus.

That Prime. That Prime, though. That will be mine, if not so I can at the very least have a flat-nosed Optimus aside from the Classics mold. Aside from the "colored plastic > paint" rut that Hasbro seems to be falling into, I think I can do something to make him look a bit cooler with some extra paint.

But that Grimlock should have stayed extinct, in my opinion. "Voyager" seems a lot like "Deluxe" right now, though that is probably to keep in in scale with this Optimus for unknown reasons. Being around the same size as G1 Grim is rather unacceptable from a Voyager, in my opinion.

AOE Voyager Grimlock's alt-mode makes FOC Grimlock's alt-mode look like a marvel of modern engineering.

I think Prime is looking really nice, although he'll be much improved with the addition of a little more grey/gunmetal paid. I'm really keen to see exactly how that transformation works - the windowtits are obviously "fake" so I'm intrigued to see where the "fake" bits appear from and where the "real" bits are hidden.

Glad he's deluxe and not voyager sized, I think he'll look great next to Movie Trilogy deluxe Prime.

Evasion Mode Prime is a Voyager Class figure, not Deluxe. >:oP And I can't say I don't dig him. Grimlock on the other claw, I'll wait for comparisons between Voyager and Leader.

:BOOM: Grimlock's head looks like a lot like Samurai Spawn. Poor Optimus can't catch a break in the movie toys. It's as though someone decided to kit bash together a sudo-MP cab with the horrible leg/truck deck area from every Prime since MP and Classics Prime, and then slapped together a robot mode that seems to combine all of the worst elements we have all had to get used to from every movie verse Prime ever made. Fine examples of why I own very, very few of the movieverse "figures". At least we have Whirl, Swerve and company, as well as MP Wheeljack on the horizon..... >:oP

So, amI the only one who saw tht picture of Grimmy's mace and said "Cool! He ripped a traffic light out of the ground and is gonna club people with it!"

He's a pass, but the otherfigures on the shelf look good. I don't need a green corvette, but hopefully a repaint comes along.

How is Evason Prime a whizzing on a grave qality bad? Sure, some shoulderpads would be nice, some grey to break up the colors, but its a solid figure. Only because I have enough Primes already I was gonna skip him, but that is looking like its going to change. He reminds me a lot of the 2007 Voyager without the backpack in proportions. Curious to see the scale of his alt mode.

(I still really like my BH Voyager Prime though, with wings, his Armade cannon on the vehicle roof, a pair of theBattle VS turret ommy guns at the back of the truck mode in his fistholes, Mmm!)

Eh, not feeling the AoE line all that much. They don't look as good as they could be, and in a way it just feels like more of the lackluster Beast Hunters stuff (robot reptiles, knights, automobiles, and little else). Not to mention most of it doesn't fit anywhere in MY shelves.

Maybe it might fit into his hand better.

It looks like a really bad homage to how the G1 toy held his good, but that was 1970/80's engineering they should have no excuse for this. So far none of these toys are interesting me...

Is Grimlocks alt mode transformed correctly i wonder? Cause if it is..........it's HORRIBLE!!
So much bot bits and massive gaps and panels just floating in the middle of nowhere revealing all the robot bits underneath.

Honestly...it's laughable and a little embarrassing for such an iconic figure to be handled so poorly over the past couple years. At least the MP did it right. Even Animated is better.

Brings a wee tear to my eye it does.

OP looks alright in alt mode. I can dig it.

I had such high hopes for prime. I'm so disappointed. The fake forming is really bad. The plastic makes him look like a Kabaya model kit.

I know something will come out of the modding community that will at least improve on the paint apps.

I was gonna wait and see what the Deluxes were going to look like, and see whether or not to pass on them. Then....I see Drift.

Fake car chest, with the real car mode hood and grill forming his a**.....or hanging off of it. Not to mention that his color scheme looks NOTHING like the car used in the movie except that they both have blue in them.. UGH. If this is what the entire Generations/Movie toy line ends up looking like, I won't be getting any of them.

But this looks alright to me. It's like a Cybertronian Yoshimitsu. Infact, I may just call him that instead of Drift. :D

For those of you complaining about Drift's fake chest, look closer. The bumper tells you that its not fake, it lines up directly with his kibble. its the middle section of the car front, the rest folds around back. There are fake details aplenty, but that one doesn't bother me so much.

Drift is freaking terrible in so many ways. Whata serious piece of $#!*

Scorn and Strafe on the other hand are looking pretty awesome so far. Most likely going to be Predacons on my shelf as long as something can be done for those knees. They look way too thin. If they can't line up tighter against the calves, then I will probably pass.

Ahhh...I stand corrected. Knowing that does make me feel a little better about it, but it still bothers me that he's not black and blue (in the literal sense). And I hope that the butt-kibble folds up better than what it does in the package.

Note he has four of them. Maybe they're meant to fit two in each hand, so he can quad wield?

Leader Class Grimlock certainly looks better in robot mode than his oddly elongated beast mode, but I'm still not too keen on him. Were it not for the absolutely terrible beast mode, I'm sure I'd go for the voyager.

All the Deluxe Dinobots look like winners, though I'm on the fence about Slash. There are some positives.
