Fans have found this message on the Hasbro Toy Shop FAQ sparking some worry:
At Hasbro, we strive to provide our customers with the best possible experience with our portfolio brands. As a valued customer, we wanted to let you know that our brand websites have changed and will no longer sell products directly. That said, you can still access your account and check existing orders using your login at Hasbro Toy Shop.
However, as it states, it is only from direct branding sites, like Transformers.com, which in the past had some items you could order directly like the first Studio Series toys.
We reached out to Hasbro just to see if we were undertanding clearly and this is what they told us:
It just means that you’ll need to go to HasbroToyShop.com to make purchases, as they will no longer be available on Transformers.Hasbro.com.
So, as always, Hasbro Toy Shop will be the main place for Hasbro to sell directly to customers, it wont be other peripheral brand sites. So basically, nothing changed and you can go back to enjoying life. And speaking of all the great stuff we can be happy about, a ton of next year's awesome Transformers output was on display at Tokyo Comic Con 2018, so check it out.

Then it dawned on me to grab Cog while I was at it. So I tried to go back in but now they're saying they're all sold out. But at least I got the 4 I really wanted.
....Well besides Shockwave.

Or have your order canceled because Hasbro can't fill them all

I would not hold my breath. And in any case, the international shipping they have done to the past (like Canada) has never been worth it. Shipping an item usually doubled the price of your purchase.

I think they just mean it's going to continue being a Hasbro store and not expand past that. It would be interesting if Hasbro started to carry products from their licensees.

But the vocal minority isn't ok with anything, so just like the shop, standard operating procedure.chuckdawg1999 wrote:The phrase "Curated Content" makes me pause, I'm not sure that's going to be something that a majority or vocal minority will be ok with. Speaking of not carrying, the Siege deluxes and voyagers disappeared again.
Has anyone ever had to call HTS? Their customer service is on point. My password bombed or I locked myself out and it wouldn't let me change it. I placed an order as a guest, called them a day or so later - got right to a person, reset my PW and had my guest order moved to my account. As long as they keep that up, I'm good.
