We found some new Transforemrs Cyberverse toys in the Walmart app. Most of these have a S4 connotation, meaning season 4. However, "season 4" will actually be a pair of TV films. And we know that the Dinobots will be involved so we see that play out in the toyline. Not only will we be geting Sludge and Slug but there will be an Ultimate class Volcanicus. Since this has always been a gimmick line for a younger audience, there will be new gimmicks here. This time we have a "roll and combine" gimmick and a "roll and transform" gimmick, which dates all the way back to G1 Topspin and Twin Twist. We'll see how that gimmick functions in this line.
We also have a listing for Botbots that seems to also be Dinosaur themed.
Let us know what you think!
Transformers Cyberverse Ultimate S4 Hot Rod
Transformers Cyberverse Ultra S4 Sludge
Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe S4 Slug
Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe S4 Cheetor
Transformers Cyberverse Ultra S4 Ramjet
Transformers Cyberverse Ultimate S4 Volcanicus
Transformers Cyberverse Roll And Combine Assortment

Don't expect Combiner Wars material. To add to Will's predictions, Ultimate Volcanicus could very well be like RiD 2015 Combiner Force Menasor:
I'll spare you their robot modes.

That was still a pretty fun combiner. I won't complaint about any of the 3 team combiners too much, they were fun for what they were

True, they had more in common with Bandai's Super Sentai and especially Machine Robo Rescue offerings which were fun in their own way. The torsos just needed better hands... or hands period
And count me in for more Dinos!

Or it's a rerelease of the botbots that already exist and become dinosaurs in new decos.

They were great. Could hold their weapons up and didn't lean at the hips.

I just hope this Cheetor is a little more show-accurate.

I bought a deluxe Optimus Prime from Amazon and the plastic feels really flimsy.
I know this is a "kids line" and sacrifices were made to include the BAF pieces but it's the single cheapest feeling Transformer I own.
I feel like these figures would be pretty low on the list to create KOs of considering they would also have to include the Maccadam parts (and, ironically, the arm piece that came with Optimus feels of much higher quality than Prime himself) but I just wanted to make sure.

Still he is quite badass in robot form even if his T-Rex form is rather chubby.

Figure as the TF section at the local K-Mart is rapidly disappearing to an ever-growing sea of Bakugan, I should help reduce their stock levels of TF's.

He's pretty decent.
His alt mode is a hot slab of nothing, and the transformation is very intricate to get to that hot slab, but he is really sharp in bot mode. And the effects parts are great.
You have nothing to lose to get him

His altmode would look much better if certain blue parts had been colored gray instead (and certain other gray parts colored blue).D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Burn wrote:Is Titty-blast Starscream any good? Better than Prowl or Soundwave?

Meteorfire was so close to being a good toy, he just needed a little more, but he needs another go at a toy.
Iaconus definitely needs another toy. This just doesn't do him proper justice. I loved him in the show, fantastic addition to the lore.
Another guy who needs a new toy. Wildwheel is such a neat design
This is my Quintesson. This is the one version I actually like. So neat
Spark armor didn't get enough credit. These were fun toys. And this is the best Sky Byte toy
One of the best one Steps. Repugnus was neat, loved the concept of him
And finally, WHIRLS

They are some of my 3 year old's favourite toys and aftermarket prices for many crash combiners are nuts now. So I'm glad these are coming out. Plus he likes the dinobots, so it will be a double win for him.

some of the other combinations might be better, strange that the amrs Slag has for feet dont get used in the megatron combination.

Crosscheck wrote:It doesn't look like these can be mixed and matched very well, which is unfortunate. I would have liked for an all Dinobot robot to be possible without it having Bumblebee's head. Oh well.
Yeah, even if you can combine Swoop and Slug you're still left with a combined form that looks vaguely like Bumblebee. Then again it also sort of looks like Slag's head in yellow thinks to the big eye lenses. I'm guessing on the show the combinations are a little more "scrambled" than simply one is on top and the other is on the bottom.
blackeyedprime wrote:some of the other combinations might be better, strange that the amrs Slag has for feet dont get used in the megatron combination.
They aren't arms, it's the hinge used for his pants mode hips.

That's a better name than "Slugtron" by a mile.

And that's if they'll be in the show. There were a lot of gimmick toys in both RID 2015 and Cyberverse that never made it into either show.Emerje wrote:I'm guessing on the show the combinations are a little more "scrambled" than simply one is on top and the other is on the bottom.
For instance, the only Spark Armors that made it into the Cyberverse cartoon were the ones from Elite class Optimus and Megatron, and Battle class Jetfire, Starscream, and Sky-Byte. That left seven whole other Spark Armors that didn't appear onscreen, which belonged to Prowl, Shockwave, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Cheetor, and Optimus's second Ark-based armor.

Nope. Prime was the last show to get complete season sets, while Rescue Bots and RID 2015 only got random episodes on DVD.First-Aid wrote:Is there any word Cyberverse will be on Blu-ray or DVD?
Seems complete series DVD sets for children's shows in general are getting killed by streaming services.

The front of the leg flips open, the feet tuck in, and the leg folds back. The kneecap with the red dot is then under the vehicle, while the back of the leg is stylized as the vehicle's rear end.

As can be seen highlighted, I was asking about the actual toy that was just revealed. Not Bee's animation design (nor the deluxe).
It seems that on that toy, the feet are made of the car bumper, hence the detail. They arent trying to be show accurate, and it isnt fake parts or fake sculpted detail but an actual part of the car.
