Transformers Movie Ultimate Bumblebee has not been out too long, and it already appears that the figure will be getting another release with different packaging. Ebay seller home4toys has posted an auction that shows the new packaging. The seller even claims that this version of Ultimate Bumblebee comes with a bonus 3 inch Titanium Bumblebee. There is no word about where or when this version will be released. Stay tuned to the Seibertron.com Toy Section for more news as it comes available.

A repack already? The first run isn't even selling as it is!
Oh sure, some areas are seeing movement, but many others are seeing plenty of warmed shelves because of this guy.
I do believe we'll see a massive clearance on Ultimate Bumblebee. I'm patient enough that I can wait. If it never happens, oh well. I can live without him.
$80.00? No thank you. Even Robosapien does more, and he's $30.00 cheaper!

The 3 inch figure is a nice add in, even if it doesn't transform.

(yes I'll eventualy get a second to open. It's very rare that I get a bot to keep sealed before I get one to open)

For sure! This one emphasises his squatness and reminds me of those pickled toads in jars we used to have in science lab.

Are you 9 feet tall Elita?
My gf lugged him around for a bit after I bought him, and he came up past her knees!
Did some thinking about the packaging, and I really don't like it. Storing the Robovision Prime Octagon was a pain in the butt. The normal Ultimate Bumblebee Box when folded down does not fit in a 52 litre tub, so imagine how much room this would occupy.

Agreed on awkward boxes, thats why I like the origional Ult BB package.
Bubbles domes, and things of that sort realy fo suck to store. I wish they'd just stick with squares and rectangles!
As for Ult BB coming up to your girls knees
I know your from the "Land Down Under" so I just gotta ask, is gravity stronger down there or something!?!
This thing is knee high to my 7 year old niece, just bearly, and she's tiny!

My gf's only about 5'3" (160cm)(did I get that right? We do metric over here), I haven't measured Bumblebee yet (nor thought of till now) but he would have to be around the 35-40 cm mark.

May not be the battery, the chest piece for Bumblebee has to be in a certain spot for it to hit a certain button to make the sounds.
I first thought that the batteries were dead on the Ultimate Bumblebee figures, but after I bought one I found out about the button/chest alignment issues. About half the Bumblebee's I have seen since have had the problem, some shifting of the chest piece is usually enough to get the figures to work in the stores.

I was in the same boat. Tonight I finally take the plunge and spend an hour checking two stores to find the Bumblebee with the best paint job. I take it home, giddily open up the box ... and have the disappointment of a bad knee joint. It won't lock, so he always slouches to one side. @$%!
