IDW Publishing's Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall has updated his blog
RyallTime with a tiny tidbit of information regarding an upcoming IDW mini series.
While discussing the upcoming
Orbital Comics Signing Session in the UK, Ryall made mention that one of the creative team at the signing has a new Transformers related project underway:
Maybe you can get Nick to hint at his upcoming TF miniseries that he'll be writing and drawing.
The Nick he is referring to, is of course Nick Roche, the main responsible for
Spotlight Kup, as well as the artist for the
Maximum Dinobots series.
So Seibertronians, what series could Roche possibly be working on?
Bragging rights are up for grabs! Discuss your thoughts and theories on the matter below, and stay tuned to
Seibertron.com for more information regarding this series as it comes to hand.

I bet it's designed to fix a few things AHM broke.
Anyway I won't be buying it even if I love Nick Roche's stuff but AHM just killed the idw comics for me. But if this comic retconns AHM I'll buy it.

Another Evolutions mini-series like Hearts of Steel would be sweet.

Personally I'm thinking it might be a mini-series dedicated to Kup and the Wreckers, but as for when it is set, your guess would eb as good as mine. I would prefer to see what the Wreckers were up to during the whole "-tion" stories, but that would be very unlikely, I'd say the safest bet would be a Wreckers series set inbetween Spotlight Kup, and AHM, an extended look at events around the time of Spotlight Drift (hopefully without Drift).
No matter what the art will be spectacular.

I know Nick was working on some stories for Coda too, so it may well spiral out of that. In which case I'd guess it'd be Kup or Springer centric, but who knows.
I'm definitely interested in seeing what Nick can come up with this time. Spotlight Kup was an excellent piece.

Wasn't it hinted at that we might get more TF: Animated in the form of comics?
That's what I'm crossing my fingers for anyway.

What happened to IDW's plans of a Bumblebee mini-series? Could this be it, or was there a report sometime ago that said they shelved the idea?

I dont know if they will do a Bumblebee series now since McCarthy essentially turned him into Huffer in AHM.

Nick Roche? Of HELL yes! Spotlight: Kup was AWESOME. It was a more satisfying story in one issue than AHM was over a goddamn year.
