You get a brief glimpse of him in vehicle-attack mode in the new teaser trailer. Haven't seen any robot mode pictures yet.

Loved the quick teases of the Wreckers! (Only natural to include them for the 500!)

I mentioned that in my above post. He transformed simular to how he did in the DOTM video game trailer.
Not to mention his Speed Stars Stealth Force weapon mode. Gives those toys a little more legitimacy, though they really need to make them transformable into robots for me to care.

Yeah I guess it probably is supposed to be secret, but you would think whoever is in charge of deciding on which transformers get shown would have figured out that everyone already knows who Megatron is and what his alt mode is. The same thing happened the last movie. I really don't see the point of hiding him , because I assume he is a secondary villian this time around anyways. They could at least give us some concept images

I had a feeling he'd win since the start. What a neat race.
Anyway, as I suspected there was a new trailer! We got to see the Wreckers in action finally. And was that a Bumblebee armed vehicle mode I saw?
It's also too bad that Leadfoot was the only Wrecker to finish on the lead lap.

No, Leadfoot's the #42 Target Chevrolet that Juan Montoya drives. Truex drives the #56 Napa Toyota.

Why do you automatically blame Bay? Why is he always the villain?
Seriously. Do none of you people read the cast and crew listing available in every film and on every poster? It's not Bay alone.
There are several people to be held accountable for good and bad in these films. Not just him.

I don't get it. Why do we need to blame anyone at all? Because they did something? I get it, if you blame someone for breaking something, but to blame someone for using something in a movie? Then why not just blame all the film directors for using something in their films.
I.E. James Cameron for using dolphins in "Titanic" or Spielberg for using Dinosaurs in "Jurassic park".
You can't blame everyone in everything. If there's something that you don't like in the movie, then either ignore it or don't watch the film. It's that simple and it's even easier than posting your damn whining on this forum.

THIS. It's a movie to advertise toys, they're supposed to put gimmicks into the movies to make people buy the toys, why the hell else do you think the title of the movie is Transformers? They make the movies to advertise the toys, NOT the other way around.

Either way, they made the movies to advertise the toys, so they put Mechtech in the movies so that kids will want to buy the toys for that reason.

This.
But seriously, if you look at the parts the jet turbines are wrong for it to be Jetfire. Also one of the jet turbines was destroyed in the fight with the Fallen.

Like I said: rebuilt.
As for the ripped-off turbine, I believe that The Fallen just tore it off, not crushed into junkpile, so maybe it was still fixable.
Besides, don't expect it to be explained in the movie.

Yeah BUT Transformers toys came with the premise of "Robots in Disguise". We CAN blame EVERYONE for screwing up that whole premise - because now we no longer have that. If anything, it's just comes down to Autobots in disguise...and that's even stretching it (three NASCAR vehicles driving around anywhere other than a race track is not a disguise...especially with mech weapons surrounding their frame - they really do look like they came right out of another awesome 80's cartoon - M.A.S.K. I mean, you really need to check this out!

Razorback is awfully similar looking to one of them - Rhino looks an awful lot like our fearless Autobot leader does now, as well as Arcee looks just like Vampire and the list goes on and on and on...it's like Bay and his team and Hasbro has really lost touch of it's roots and decided to "copy" MASK stuff to make a new transformers toy line and movies from - and they don't care - they are making money! It's really is a shame.

How do we no longer have the oringal premise of "robots in disgise"? Because Irone hide is a Topkick truck and not a mini van? Cause Optimus has flames? Bee is a Camaro and not a beetle? This is not 1984. Were up to 2010. I want my TF to have a little flash (and consequently, thats what they have- A little flash) IMO, non of the autobots or decepticons have been overly falshy. I think they fit a modern day world preety darn good while still being atractive to the average audience.
As far as the nascar bots (wreckers), minus the guns on them, the differance between them and say the destructicons? They had an F1 car on their team roaming around the streets. And what about Mirage? Another race car. So this isn't the first time a full blown race cars have gone around the streets of the local neighborhood.
Anyhow, I'm sure there "Mech tech" modes are just that. Modes for battle. Concidering Patrick dempsey is a race car driver in the movie they proabably have stanard modes as well.

No S#!+ this isn't 1984 - that is EXACTLY why you would think there would be BETTER disguises! And since you started it - how many Peterbilt's have you've honestly seen driving around with that many flames and/or color scheme? I live in Chicago...near the highways and I haven't seen but one...and they looked like they were stuck on by hand and they were yellow on purple. The whole point of my little rant still holds true. If you saw the Autobots today in their Alt mode - you would know immediately that they were Transformers or at least knew something was up and going on. You say non of them have been overly flashy - SAY WHAT? You couldn't even buy Bumblebee's 2nd alt mode back when the first movie debuted. And that is my point - Hasbro gave in and decided to let money do the talking...and it's been said many times before...the first movie looked like one long dragged out car commercial - and because of that the movie stories hold no merit. Why even try to disguise when everyone knows that the cars driving around are the only ones? I just came from the Chicago Auto show and guess what - no Corvette Stingray - they scrapped it...it was just a 2009 concept car.
Many of the Decepticons haven't even tried to disguise themselves, so why even bother, especially since the Autobots and the military formed such a tight knit relationship right away, and everything can be erased and/or covered up by one branch or another creating some other story and erase everyone's mind and block internet videos/pics and magically fix everything like they did with Mission City and Shanghai. The whole movie franchise should have been called "Alien sentient robots from another planet, that can also transform, lost their cube and are now fighting for it." And now that you got me started - it looks like there's more reason to hate the Autobots now than ever - it looks like that character from ROTF was actually right - Director Galloway or Calloway (the liaison to the President) - when he said something like: "Then it seems the only reason the Decepticons are coming is to hunt you!" There has been no background as to how the Transformers actually got here (except Megatron) and nothing said about ever trying to leave to get back to Cybertron and new idea's keep coming up to try to make up good reasons to have the Decepticons keep flooding to earth to destroy it along with the Autobots. I mean seriously, The Fallen's sundestroyer machine thingy could have just as easily been placed on Venus or Mars without even having to cover it up and then we wouldn't even be having this conversation. haha
Now don't get me wrong - Transformers will ALWAYS be AWESOME! And the new "real-life" transformations are certainly the way to go - but when it comes to the movies...that is where they stopped with their creativity. Now it looks like we have a 3rd movie that looks more like Skyline vs M.A.S.K in 3D with Peter Cullen voicing the hero rather than "Transformers - the third and final battle for earth" featuring Optimus Prime! Thank god for all of the other writers and production teams out there for giving us other Transformers Universes...because I'm done with the movieverse - I tried and gave it my best shot - I can only wait for the next reboot and pray.

Hey good you pointed that out!
I believe its the new abdomen Prime gets
We have seen these in the Ultimate Optimus Prime toy ( which I didnt like by the way partially cause of the abdomen).
I was hoping it was a toy only thing ( Just like with the Mechtech weapons, but in the same picture we can see a BIG *SS gun as well, so that hope is gone as well)
This does not make me happy, I really liked the orginal model/sculp. Why does Optimus need abdomen???
What do you think?

Yeah it does look like they changed the CG model a little. Can't tell yet if I like it or don't. Probably not a big enough difference for me to care, but we'll see. And wow, that is ONE BIG GUN! Megatron's gun better be at least that big or I'm gonna be mad

Good catch! I noticed it too kind of, but just chalked it up to the lighting int he scene. Now that you point that out, I see it. So Prime has been doing core workouts and tightening up his fabulous abs to impress Arcee...
