Not too shabby looking. The seats that turn into weapons are a nice touch.
Shame I won't be buying any of these. I'm focusing on Universe and Classics at the moment.

Now these look nice. Just a pity it's yet another bloody Convoy.

You know, I hate to say it but these are the first photos that make me like this less. I was on the fence before but now it's a no from me. The robot mode is OK-very movie like IMO (very Bumblebee)-but the alt mode, at least in these pictures, is a mess. The broken up lines of the GT-R remind me of movie Stockade or Universe/C2.0 Ironhide.
No matter how much diecast they put into him, this is a 20-25 dollar figure tops.

Still wondering if Hasbro will do all plastic versions of these. Looks nice, but I've got no pressing need for diecast.

Well, the alt. mode looks like the everyday alternator, but it's a good point for such a small figure; and the bot mode looks awesome (except head)
It's only weapons are those arm-guns... meh, where are the G1 times, when the figures had more weapons than hands? I cry for rocket launchers, guns and swords for every robot!

True. Why can't they start with figure homages like Bludgeon, Shockwave, Overlord, or Fort. Max?

Because they want people to buy them.

I'd love to buy updates on Bludgeon, Shockwave, Overlord, as well as many others we've not seen for some time.
And while I'm usually one to not like/care for a Prime or Convoy outside of a hoss big rig or fire truck, this fella is win. I totally plan to acquire him.

Until Jazz or a really kick-butt mold is introduced, I'll be passing on Alternity.

Shame the car mode doesnt fit together well but maybe its just a painted proto.
I'd rather they had continued with the BT line.
Looks good in die cast, I'll take shiny and reflective paint over boring plastic any day.

Someone looking for Shockwave?

I'd buy both! IMHO, Universe Sunstreaker should have been full die cast. What good is a toy if you can't kill someone with it?

At last !!! A picture of the red Alternity Convoy and what a beauty !!!
I was skeptical of buying these because of the small scale and the Silver didn't do it for me but the red .... wow .... has to be one of the most good looking convoys of the past couple of years. That's how you celebrate a anniversary

Both of these are awsome looking. I find myself likeing the silver version better, you could almost pass it off as a different character than Prime.. Magnus anyone?
If I see one of these I might splurge and grab it.

The red one looks slick. Thats the one I'd probably get. I really wish these were 1:24 scale.

I'm not to fond of the red convoy! The silver sits better with that particular mold design. I do have to agree I wish it was a different character. Not that I dislike Optimus it's just Optimus is supposed to be a truck! I didn't even like the alternator Optimus simply for the fact that my Masterpiece just fits that much better with the rest of my Alternators. I do on the other hand love Nemesis Prime's Alternator vehicle and robot mode. It just fits better IMO. I will still pick these up though.

That's pretty much what I'm gonna do. I got the Silver one on pre-order. He was NEVER gonna be a prime in my collection. Probably have him run his own crew and have Drift with him. I'm definitely loving his looks. Yeah, his alt mode has a lot of exposed lines, but he a TF, it's kinda expected sometimes. For me, it's total WIN.

I wasn't too interested in this until I saw the red version, then something in my brain went "ooh, pretty." Then it went "but not enough to pay that much for it."

Couldn't agree more!
As it is, I prefer the silver one, as a Nissan, he's a nice fit for an updated Bluestreak. I liked the Subaru Alt, but this works very well.
If I can score this for around $30 I may do it, but $50 = pass.

Yup I concur silver looks better. I wonder if this is significantly smaller than Alt Prime, anyone know? Also why are we getting a new Prime is this a new line? Thanks!

Given the scale of 1:32, i think it's just about the size of Movie Deluxe Bumblebee.

i'd pick the red one up if hasbro done a full plastic version, i'm not a big fan of dicast parts.
still wonder wot other figures (if they do any) will look like in thsi line?

There's no way this guy should be "Convoy / Optimus."
He should be Runamuck or Runabout. Or another one of the G1 Transformers that hadn't seen the light of day yet.

I'd like the Silver one for like a Classics Downshift or Camshaft. But $50 is waaay too much. I'm unclear about the scale. Is 1:32 on scale with the Classics deluxe?

I wasn't keen from the start once I heard the scale was decreased...
I think the best thing to happen to TFs in the last 25 years was the Alternators/Binaltech and the Masterpiece lines, it's sort of the TF-equivalent of the Joe 25th line...
Old favorites, designed like they would have been back in the day, if we had today's toy tech... But updated, and generally well-done, with a few exceptions.
While this line has some nice new design elements, like the collapsing chest and other things I'm sure we're not even aware of, I think it looks too much like a mix between movie, Animated, and Classics, the only 1 of those I like is Classics, and I don't even collect that.
I was so excited to see the Skyline, as it's a badass car and glad that they have new molds of real car licenses again... which I wrongly thought was the return of BT/Alternators.
Also, a car doesn't fit Prime/Convoy, I'm sorry. No matter how badass.
I would have rather them ended the BT line strongly with something like this and given us one last hoorah, than start a new line with an awkward Prime that doesn't really work.
The new design has interesting features, but I stopped liking it long ago.

Both versions look much better than I was expecting. I don't know if I'll get it, but if I do it's hard to choose. The "Prime" coloured version looks really nice, and the distribution of colours is great, but I'm kinda tired of that colourscheme, as we're guaranteed at least one in every line like that. But the silver one, while looking very not-primey and great feels a little like it could be less monochromatic.
Seat weapons are aces though.

Sweet. i dig the red one. Might have to see about picking one up. It would be kinda sweet to pick up a silver one too and switch the Prime head for a Megs head and switch up the faction symbols. Lol.

I love the look of this line so far. I for one am really glad they did Convoy first. I don't know what everyones talking about when they say the vehicle mode looks poor, I think it looks fantastic. Sure it has breaks in it, but it needs to right. It is a Transformer after all.
For anyone who's wondering why they would release Convoy first, it's mostly because the Japanese Market love Convoy. I wouldn't be surprised if they did Megatron or Starscream next. I will be picking these up for sure when they come out. After Hasbro botched most of the titanium line with poor die-cast placement, it will be nice to get my hands on a figure with good weight.

The Red version looks awesome in bot mode, shame the roof just hangs off the back like that though... the Car looks terrible, sadly.
