I actually got goosebumps at one point! I’m on board! Im watching this

Primes voice is good! And Grimlock made me laugh!

I actually agree, It probably won't be the greatest show in there, but it might be fun.

That looks like it will be a lot of fun. Like in between Transformers Prime and Robots In Disguise (the recent one). I hope it can come to Netflix or Hulu.

Ick. Doesn't look very good. Has a very cheap and stiff look to it.

Did you ever think for a second that this is bumblebees memeory and he's remebering wrong and it’s a gag?

If not Grimlock can be smart. He’s smarter in more fiction than dumb. People don’t seem to realize that.

Your tone seems a bit off. It was just a question. I get that Grimlock was even said to be smart in G1 but just played dumb (at least in the comics and it's why i used quotation marks around the word smart). I was just a bit surprised hearing that kind of voice coming out of him. I'll stay out of this topic if folk gonna be snippy. Gotta go out anyways.

Still not a fan of the animation style. I'm not sure why animation producers since roughly 2012 or so seem to think it's OK for everything to look terrible and cheaply/shoddily made. Maybe because execs tell them kids will watch no matter what, so no need to spend a lot of money/time/effort on it? It's a shame because beautiful looking shows like TF Prime will only be a thing of the past, or get used as bait to launch Streaming Services you have to pay extra for (Young Justice and Clone Wars for example).

Honestly, I was never able to get used to the look of TFA. It is much better as a radio show IMHO. Maybe that's how I'll have to take in this new version as well.

Man, this series is looking more and more promising with each clip.
Also, pretty sure they just revealed both Arcee and Chromia! Whether they'll make it out of flashbacks and into the land of chracters-with-actual-lines is yet to be seen, but here's hoping...

This is legitimately the worst voice acting I have ever seen in a Transformers series. Even the dubbed Unicron Trilogy dubs, at least you could tell they were TRYING.

Every single actor in this trailer is phoning it in. It's honestly kind of infuriating how much these people clearly don't give a shit about a job they're being paid to do. This is a good study on how NOT to voice act

you know im kind of looking forward to this fresh start with a new voice team and hope its everybit as fun to watch as it appears to be and bring in new characters from time to time
dont get me wrong Peter Cullen will always be Optimus Prime and Frank Welker will always be Megatron to me, but they had their day and they are sounding like they are showing their age
so on with the show

Grimlock being smart and eloquent in robot mode while brutish and dumb in dino mode is pretty much how SG Grimlock was from "Dungeons & Dinobots" onward.

Hard, screaming pass. Looks as bad as the toys.

I really didn’t like the look of things from that clip we saw, but I actually kinda liked this trailer. Not anything super cool, but I think this show could have some fun moments.

Looks like there might be some good action and story at least. I'll give it the ol college try. But if it stinks after the first 5 eps I won't watch the rest.

Animation style is Awesome as well. Twas a HUGE fan of TF Prime and its clean yet gritty style. But have no qualms at all with this one. Remember TF Animated? Quite meh at 1st that turned out crazy awesome after.
Remember all man-child sirs (Self included), this Is a Show geared towards kids 1ST. Adults always second (Or last perhaps..lol).
Thats been Hasbro's MO ever since its founding.

I feel sorta better about the show after the trailer, makes me believe that those first two clips weren't representive of the show

"Meh at first"? That Starscream fight in the pilot movie/3rd episode alone was amazing.

Pleasantly surprised. Looks like a fun time, unless it turns out to be a pointless cringe-fest like Rid15. But it has potential. I will be watching with great interest.

It’s two episodes. They’re split in half for ad breaks because reasons

I like the series so far! Sure its a bit kiddy, but its entertaining, for me at least.

I'm just going to wait for CN to actually air it, since I still have the whole last season of RID to catch up on (my DVR decided it didn't like its time slot for some reason).

After watching this, I feel the show has promise. While I give Bee's voice actor credit for being able to pull off so many different voices, I found the whole gag just irritating. I think he has a great voice and hope they eventually drop the radio speak thing so he can just deliver normal lines. My only other contention is the voices for the two seekers. They both sound like angsty teenagers and are in no way intimidating. Decepticons in previous shows were so memorable because they were so delightfully villainous. Thundercracker just sounds like a dweeb! Beyond that, the animation is decent. The sound effects are good too. I'm going to keep watching and see how the show evolves over time.

I enjoyed those first 2 episodes! I think this could have promise. And the Bee voices are kinda really fun if overused at this point

Now that I've seen them... Not bad. I like that there appears to be a serialized ongoing narrative that carries over from episode to episode, as I was expecting this to be like most other 11-minute shows on Cartoon Network that usually tend to be done-in-one standalone stories, but this instead seems to have nixed that formula.

It does seem to draw heavy inspiration from the backstory of the Aligned media, as though it's drawing influence from the Binder of Revelation despite obviously not being an Aligned show. The AllSpark was launched into space a long time ago, Optimus Prime leads a team of Autobots aboard the Ark to go find it, some other Autobots stay behind to continue defending Cybertron from the Decepticons while the Ark crew is gone, there's a space bridge in orbit above Earth, and more. Plus Windblade's Cityspeaker ordeal from IDW.

The Decepticon voice acting is a bit awkward. It's gonna take some getting used to, but the more we get to hear from them, the more their acting may improve over time. Also, the female purple Seeker is named Nova Storm.

Of course, Bumblebee's radio speech is the elephant in the room, with his natural voice an indisputable breath if fresh air by comparison. However, I don't feel that his radio speech is as bad as it could have been. As it's all being done by one person, Jeremy Levy, I liken his performance to those of Robin Williams and Dan Castellaneta back when they each voiced the Genie from Aladdin, in that they each had to do a ton of vocal impressions and improv work to really sell their performances as the Genie. Jeremy Levy has to basically do the same for Bumblebee's radio speech. The big difference in this case is just that, simply put, Levy is not Williams or Castellaneta. He does not have either their magnetic charm or their star iconography. People would applaud at Williams and Castellaneta for how they each played the Genie even in moments where the Genie fell flat because people knew who Robin Williams and Dan Castellaneta were and already liked them as they were even before being cast into that role. Jeremy Levy, meanwhile, is a relatively new name to the acting world, so he's fighting an uphill battle from the get-go with having to do all of these impressions and make them not only work but also likable and entertaining. Unhelpful in this task is how radio-speech Bumblebee is already looked down upon by the fandom as a tired old gimmick that many have felt has overstayed its welcome, so it was a doomed position for Levy from the start as far as those critical of the radio-speech quirk in and of itself were concerned. Nevertheless, I feel that he served his role well enough to pull it off to the best of his abilities. It's clear that the gimmick is here to stay, but as Episode 2 has shown, it is not the sole form of communication that we will be receiving in this show. So those still groaning over it will at least have the normal talking parts of this show to look forward to.

With that said, for me, the worst this about this show has got to be the eyes, especially Windblade's. The eyes are just so big and yet so blankly devoid of any details that they just look so lifeless and inexpressive. If they didn't want to give anyone pupils and irises to give the eyes more expression like we've seen in so many other series, what they should have done was make the eyes much smaller like how those of the characters from the G1 cartoons, JBW cartoons, Car Robots, and the Unicron Trilogy cartoons were.

Overall, this was a decent first outing for the series. It's got me intrigued enough to see where it'll keep going and for how long.

I honestly didn't expect it to as mature as it is. I thought this would be extremely geared towards little kids, but it's not. It actually appears to be setting up a good plot and I'm definitely interested in watching more of this. Heck, it actually gave me an idea for another Transformers show, but I'm gonna keep this idea close to my chest for the time being...
