It's been a while since we've had any updates on TFClub's Project Deva. A few new images have been posted on their micro-blog. These images show their take on Hook in full color. Keep in mind these may not be the finalized colors since everything still seems to be in the prototype stage. Still no word on price or availability. The images are mirrored below.

Still cant get over the individual bot mode pics. Seems kinda back heavy. I can't even consider buying these guys at 90 each. More power to the ones that can. I guess I just gotta hold out hope that FansProject can answer my prayers for an affordable upgrade to my Classics Devy. I like the super articulated scout class / upgrade to official Hasbro product template.

Why do you assume that they'll be that expensive? The FansProjects stuff wasn't. Anyway, Having now seen an arm and his upper torso and head, I'm calling it; this is AHM Devastator.

AHM Devastator looks pretty much exactly like the G1 version, doesn't he? AHM Devastator has a single person drivers cab on the crane alt mode / his shoulder, while TF's version of the crane alt has a wide cab (albeit with a small 'fake cab' on the roof). To me, this looks like a tribute model to Devastator sure enough, but saying it's AHM Devastator is stretching it a bit ;)

I wish they'd get on with showing the rest of his limbs...

Yeah, the two shot seems to show a bad case of "undercarriage" robot. But the Devastator parts look incredible. I also like how they're going with everything included style, not add-on attachments, and that probably is a huge challenge (look at those hands!). It can't be easy creating convincing and poseable recreations of what are essentially triple-changers from basically scratch.

I'm torn between hoping that Takara does or doesn't rain on their parade by making the next Masterpiece figure Devastator! Though I'm still hoping for Soundwave and the cassette army, but I'm laying odds on Galvatron (they did Prime and Megatron, and now they've done Hot Rod/Rodimus…). :CON:

I greatly prefer the colours on Hook over those of Scavenger, but aslong as all six Constructicons come in identical colours I'll be happy.

IDK why, but I'm just not feeling the individual bot modes. Not hating on this, but I think I really have to see the full combined mode to get a gauge on if I want this or not.

I am not sure about that colour scheme. I really hope it is not final. The black support for the crane arm sticks out horribly and blends in with the black head in combined mode, that part should be green in my opinion. Also I prefer the windscreens purple on the constructions, not black. If all else fails I can repaint it if and when I get it.

IDW's representation of Devastator is somewhat more realistic than his previous incarnation. He has virtually no kibble that is not already part of the individual Constructicons, apart from the head and hands. There are no hip armor add-ons, no forearm greaves and no purple wing crest thingy on his chest. Guido Guidi described him in his redesign as having "every part made from Constructicons". You can see the forearms are treads rather than random blocks and lack of purple chest thingy. I will have to get this in my lifetime, but I will probably attempt to kitbash a purple chest thingy because I prefer it to the bare chested devy.

What do you mean? You can see the head IN hook's alt mode there in the middle of the crane truck.

The CC armor (and repaints) and Protector armor were around $80. As was Warbot Defender. Besides you can't compare a different 3rd party pricing to Fansproject. Fansproject has been by far the most successful so they can probably price a little lower.

Consider the Targetroids from the same company are two figures slightly larger than legends class and they retail for $35.95. I suspect $80-$90 apiece for these is pretty accurate.

Have to agree with you Lost. From earlier pictures we got a size estimate that puts them closer to deluxe or slightly larger. Considering the average price of 3rd party scout sized figures, $80-$90 a piece is what I was thinking. Especially if there are more complicated features such as ratchet joints or heavy duty connection mechanisms for the Dev. mode. Not to mention they may also come with individual weapons and still possible: chrome. I'm preparing mentally for a $500-$600 range for the complete set. More with shipping.

I'm still not completely sold on this set but I am excited to see some more progress. We have seen these two quite a bit, a couple pictures of Long Haul but nothing further.

And I don't see the need for them to keep teasing new projects. After we buy this one, only a select few will be able to afford anything else.

the sharp edges on the hand look menacing!! like hes about to tear up some autobot ass! on a side note that guy would look pretty good in black with green details imo :D

These are still prototypes. I'm guessing they are trying out different shades of green. I am confident that the colors will all match when complete.

I agree about the visor though. It would be nice to have.

These are just prototypes, they will have a unified color scheme. I've heard these will be around $90.00 a piece. They range from plus size deluxe to voyager based on some of the previous images we've seen.

Who knows, maybe it will come with a visor attachment like that from the FP Superion add-on kit... or maybe a second head.

iGear/FansProject making an add-on piece for a TFClub toy! That'll be a clear sign of how well the 3rd party market is.

I find it suprising that the Devastator head is integrated into Hook's design. I figured it would just be a extra piece.

TFClub has updated their micro-blog with a computer render of the next piece of their Project Deva. We see the figure meant to represent Scrapper in vehicle mode, robot mode, but unfortunately no limb mode. Still no word on when we can expect pre-orders or what the pricing of these third-party figures will be. Since their micro-blog requires registration the image has been mirrored below.

And where exactly is a knee/connector joint supposed to go
in Scrapper's robot mode?

This will likely be the finest Devastator ever made.
Now I just hope the make an Omega Supreme to match it...

As awesome as this thing is, in theory, I'm getting bored with all the pics, yet no info. How about a preorder and a release date?

Otherwise I just may start my own 3rd Party company. Check it out...my first "project" is going to be a totally awesome Classics style Blitzwing! Below is the concept art so go ahead and talk about it for the next 5 years while it never comes out:

And don't forget to check back next week for pics of my next supposed "project".

There's a big toy fair in China (or is it Japan?) on May 1st, I think there's talk about seeing everything there. We shall see of course.

The more I see of the indivusual robots the less impressed I am. I'm starting to get bored with the designs and every robot has a "tail." The Devy mode will make or break it for me ultimately but right now in getting cold feet.
