In yet another post by our old friend TFYuki we have a new teaser image of the soon to be released Rhinox, Rattrap (Rattle) and Waspinator! This new teaser shows off the 3 figures in their respective beast modes, giving us our first in-hand looks at the beast mode decos, which are very flattering and show-accurate. These will be show exclusives like last year's Armada Megatron and Black Convoy. They will still be available to purchase at import retailers but at a higher price than normal. So what do you think of these new Beasts? Will you try to get them? Are they the ultimate version for each character? Guys that shockwave is just the legends shockwave we got. They are just giving him one of the headmasters that we were getting in the set with the vehicles.

Has there been any remoulding on blurr or scourge?

They seem by-and-large unchanged from their hasbro counterparts.

I can't spot anything different really besides the fact that shockwave seems to come packaged with crashbash.

The decco will be where the money is here I think. :-?

The image IS Legends sized Shockwave. We had the price reveal, he is priced as a smaller sized figure.

TFWiki posts Shockwave's partner as Cancer, which seems logical. This Titan Master seems to be a Japanese release of Hasbro's Crashbash, who is a new name for Squeezeplay. Squeezeplay was released in Japan as Cancer.

I sure hope it's light purple cartoon colors. I'd happily buy a second one if he's different from the Hasbro version.

Incidentally that is the Hasbro figure in the image, Takara Tomy uses those as a stand-in and gray scales the images.

While I like the idea of the Legends coming with a partner, I'm was hoping they wouldn't be based on the Headmaster Juniors, so they would get proper toys and not just heads

It feels like that they're going down that route, not giving them bodies. But who knows? This IS TakaraTomy, and it feels like they take more liberties with their toys so as to make them more awesome than Hasbro's releases.

There is already rumours circulating that the bodyless titan masters will get their body in future waves of titans returns, so I'd imagine that takara are aware of this.

Well, the Headmaster Jrs. weren't picked by chance: back in G1 they were simply the Japanese releases of the 2nd-year, smaller Headmasters, namely Hosehead as Cab, Nightbeat as Minerva, Siren (aka Loudmouth) as Goshooter, Horri-Bull (aka Terri-Bull) as Bullhorn, Fangry as Wilder and Squeezeplay (aka Crashbash) as Cancer. In fact, the stand-alone Titan Masters are exclusively from that particular group I've noticed, we're only missing Hosehead and Fangry.

Dai atlas never got much of a good deal in the first place as Zone wasn't very good to be fair. I wouldn't care much for a redco of him that was deluxe size, he would need voyager class or bigger but I can't see anyone caring (including takara) outside of club or convention exclusives. Star Saber is a much more important character.

Oh wow, dai atlas from brainstorm would be just bad. A legends IDW Star Saber from Generations Voyager Brainstorm would probably work.

I agree in preferring a larger sized toy for Dai Atlas, but a Deluxe-sized one would go well with the Deluxe-sized RobotMasters Star Saber mold.

Shocking find! I couldn't get a picture but I saw my first ever Legends toy in store, at my local TRU they were stocking Legends Arcee for $50 AUS! I gotta pick her up.

Just an update, for items below 5000Y there is an extra "service" charge (another extra 1500Y ++). Orders above 5000Y no extra charge except shipping.
