An ebay listing has popped up offering Golden Disk Terrorsaur from the "Amazon Exclusive" Kingdom Golden disk subline. While it is being sold (shipping now) at quite a markup, the seller does have access to official stock images from Hasbro and we are sharing those with you below.
This item is no longer available for preorder on Amazon.

Is it a tolerance issue with the plastic used? Shadow Panther is great, but I knew I would love it because I already love the mold as Cheetor.

I saw Waspy a few times last week, but kept passing. I have the T-30 version and all this feedback reinforces my decision to skip him in Kingdom.

Whew, for once I successfully resisted the pull of plastic crack.

Hmm, don't think those are stock images, Terrorsaur looks really mistransformed there. Hips in robot mode look way too skinny, and I'm pretty sure his legs should be further up the body in beast mode. It's like the person who transformed him didn't know what to do from the waist down.

Although this IS the first time I realized he comes with teeny tiny spikes to put on his arms in robot mode to look more like the show model. Wonder how those are supposed to store in beast mode.

Yeah, I also had to resist the pull. Have seen him in stores a few times, but the T30 version is still pretty great, the Kingdom version doesn't really seem like an improvement (and is a step back, in some ways). Same with Rhinox.

The robot waist tab doesn't seem to lock, but I don't know how that would be an issue unless you're trying to have him in-flight suspended by the torso instead of by the waist, but maybe I need to test that.

For the alt-mode, my arms lock securely and only pop out if I'm using too much force in the transformation. I can't tell if the top of the robot legs are locked to the abdomen, but the tabs in the lower legs don't seem to be designed to lock to the arms, just to slot in. At any rate, it took some fiddling, but my alt-mode is very secure, and I can handle the bug from any position and it stays in place.

my waspy has none of these problems. well, the waist tab could be tighter, but otherwise everything locks into place securely. for people that are having issues with the robot arms tabbing in, make sure you rotate his hands the right way. they wont fit right if you dont, which will keep the legs from tabbing in correctly.

They look absolutely legit to me. Take a brief look at the history of Hasbro stock photos and you'll see the figures being mistransformed is a bit of a running thing. Almost like they just give the toy to a photographer that has no experience with them and say "do your thing".

Whether they're truly stock photos or not, the waist is definitely mistransformed in robot mode, and may even be in alt mode. The announcement images have the waist configured correctly, which also shows the hips in the correct position (e.g. not reversed.)

Because mistransformed stock pictures are pretty standard fare for Hasbro.

So it seems like wave 4 is starting to have regular saturation in most areas. Thankfully Tracks is part of that, since it appears distribution of wave 3 was very limited. (never showed up in my area) Although I was able to get what I wanted of it from Amazon. Hopefully Scorponok and Wingfinger will be included with Pipes and Slammer to fill out the 5th and final wave when they are released.

I've been seeing cases of both waves 3 and 4 being put out together in a few stores near me.

Also wave 5 is already known, Airrazor and Blackarachnia will be the other 2 figures.

Posted by o.supreme on November 11th, 2021 @ 12:05pm CST
Well that's unfortunate. As popular as BA is, I'm pretty sure everyone who wanted one was able to obtain one as she wasn't hard to find. Airrazor wasn't seen as much, but not sure how much demand there is for her? But who knows, wave 3 could make a reappearance (wave 1 did during the summer which had even more BA's). Like I said, I am set, but for any who are still looking for wave 3 deluxe, I hope you are able to find them.

I pre-ordered Slammer on Amazon as I have little faith that wave 5 will actually show up in stores, but we shall see, I have been surprised before. Perhaps since Legacy isn't scheduled to start until later into 2022, the first quarter of the year could be Kingdom refresh waves.

I don't have him yet so I can't comment on his physical qualities, but his proportions look way more accurate, and his beast mode looks outstanding, like most of the Kingdom beast modes. Plus, yellow shoulders at last!

I don't have him and will be skipping him, but mainly on looks. I really don't like the look of the wasp legs on the Kingdom version. For me, the biggest draw is the transformation, and it sounds like this version is basically the same. So the only way I was going to buy is if it just spoke to me when I saw him on the pegs, and it did not. He doesn't look terrible to me or anything, just not good enough to get when I'm happy with T-30.

I did almost get one last week. I saw him in 3 different Targets on Wednesday and passed. Then on Friday Target added Transformers to the BOGO 50% sale that ended Saturday, but I couldn't find another one. I would have gave him a chance on sale, but instead re-bought Shadow Panther and Road Rage to get the sale price on them and then promptly returned them on my full price receipts instead.

With the holiday sales coming up, who knows, maybe I'll give him another chance, but only on a discount.

My only issue is that the tab that connects his waist to his upper torso in robot mode doesn't "lock" and is prone to coming apart if you try to pose him. It can certainly be put right back in there but it's purely friction holding it, not a click tab or anything. Not a deal breaker by any means.

Ohh Terrorsaur, what have they done to thee...

Beast mode:

Legs are too far apart and not pushed up onto the torso enough, giving him a "I'm squatting in the forest" look.

Robot Mode:

Crotch is backwards, feet are backwards, torso is not collapsed down completely.

This is what the sitting beast mode should look like:
Eagle.jpg

As for Waspinator.. yes he's loose. The toros does not lock in in robot mode. And the Wasp legs get in the way.

Outside of that he's fine. But I'm still a bit disappointed with him. Still Megs needs minions to command.

I'll be happy when Terrorsaur ships and can be reunited with his master. Then just hoping for Tarantulas and Inferno to complete the season 1 Predacons.

I don't care about his alt-mode accuracy, TBH. I'm concerned with his robot mode likeness and that he's a season one Predacon.

Then you are covered. The robot mode as we have seen is pretty much spot on to cartoon Terrorsaur.

Here is the correct robot mode for him:

Playing around with Waspinator in robot mode, I the the absence of locking tabs may be intentional. It's not just the waist that doesn't lock, but also the wasp head. If you're twisting him at the waist, depending on the position of the mandibles, they can press against the hips, or the wasp head can press against the front of the pelvis. Leaving these collections loose means that trying to turn the waist too far will push them apart rather than damage any of the plastic. I think it's a reasonable trade-off that enables more poseability while limiting breakage risk.

Got my Waspinator and Shadow Panther. I knew I'd love the panther, I really like the cheetor mold and it looks good in black with the mutant face. Waspinator is a floppy mess, and those bug legs are really getting in the way. I don't know what it is about him, but to me, he is with Rhinox where the kingdom figure just isn't doing it for me too much. I love the colors and sculpt, but he's too finnicky

I don't think anyone is trying to crap on Waspinator. The universe has that covered already. Seriously, though, I do like the look of the Kingdom Waspinator, it's just that it comes at a price (for me) of a fiddly transformation.

Inferno is the only shortpacked Voyager not to get a repack so far. I would hope it would be 2 Blaster 1 Inferno to even things out.

We only have one new voyager in the wave, they come in cases of 3, they're almost certainly not going to ship an entire case of 3 Blasters, ergo one or two of the spots will be filled by other figures. o.supreme is suggesting Inferno because he hasn't been repacked in any previous assortment.

Boom.

Roddy is down to 89.99 now in smyths in ireland. theyve got their new stock in cause numbers are way up on my last check.

seeing as he's the same price as jetfire was ill pick him up.

thinking of getting him with beastwars megs as theyve dropped him to 50 quid and both are up for home delivery so i dont even have to leave the gaff.

though that said original beat wars megs is 40 quid.

theyve got track shadow panther and waspinator in to but TBH im not that pushed on them and ive already got an original G1 tracks.

still nice to see the patience pay off. i was worried roddy would sell out ala scourge. his price point is very high for most normies.

We don't know what figures would qualify as "case fillers", but I think one with more recent runs are more likely to be used. Rhinox is Tigatron's case mate, so chances are those will be used, with Blaster as the only new figure.

It honestly depends on how you view the G1 cassette. I don't care about it at all, so the $52 package price is not worth it to me even though I bought it. That being said, Ravage is awesome and worth about $35 to me. I would have gladly paid that for just Ravage in a regular package.

The bundle itself is borderline ok for price. Both figures are excellent but the problem is many of us (including me) don't care for an extra ravage casette. But yes, I would (and did) pay more than deluxe price for this Ravage figure. I do not regret my purchase and I am happy to finally have this character in my collection and realized in such a standout way.

For my part, while I wanted it, I could NOT justify the price point. I may get it if they offer it again like they did with Pit of Judgement.

I'd say the Ravage set isn't really worth the high price tag, if it were 5 or $10 cheaper then maybe. That being said it is a good set, Covert Agent Ravage turned out really well, one of the better retools I've seen in the War for Cybertron Trilogy, and it's nice to have a G1 Ravage because the Siege/Netflix Micromaster Ravage is not a great figure by comparison, and the G1 Ravage looks much better next to Soundwave.

I have a bunch of G1 Ravage figures and was going to leave him in the box, but I decided to take him out after all. I was shocked to see he had tape details on both sides! Now I'm glad he was included, this is easily my favorite version of G1 Ravage and the extra paint makes the price tag easier to accept. I love this set, for me it's only a little over priced, I think $45 would have been better.

Kev said it best: The price to me just isn't worth it, this set should have been maybe $41.99 at most? Ravage is great don't get me wrong, but $52.99 was too steep honestly

I don't know where, but someone said they were surprised that Ractonite was the one that they kept seeing unsold, rather than Arcee. Now I know people replied that it was not the same in their area, but it is in mine. I remembered that today when I saw this at my Toysrus. Granted, it's only 4 kingdom deluxes, and since the line is still ongoing, it's way too early to call any of this shelf warming (you tend to wait till a line is over and another line has started to say that). These will all sell by Christmas, but I was still fascinated that it's Ractonite who is selling less well than Arcee.

Arcee may not be a good toy but she's still an iconic character. I'd hazard a guess that her presence in the Cyberverse series isn't hurting that.

Glad you mentioned the pink one King...I'm sure it's been commented on before but I was out that day. :-P So unless :HASBRO: / :TAKARATOMY: still has plans, will Arcee be a part of the Studio '86 line? :VEHI:

Allegedly, we’ll be getting a “premium repaint” of Earthrise/Kingdom Arcee in Studio Series ‘86 in 2022.

Was playing with my RID 2015 collection with my kid and I will say this:

RID 2015 Scorponok > Kingdom Scorponok

I don't own that figure but Kingdom Scorponok is absolute garbage so I believe you.

You know what's crazy? I am a HUGE beast wars fan. So you would think that a line dedicated to revisiting all those iconic characters would have me over the moon. And yet, overall, I am really not impressed with the beasts in Kingdom. Scorponok, Waspinator, Rhinox Dinobot, and Cheetor are not great. Primal, Blackarachnia, Airazor and Megatron are fine. No complaints but I'm not wowed either. I would say Rattrap is the one figure I am most impressed with for doing so much with so little. I was far more impressed by Cyclonus (and many of the other 86 G1 bots in the SS 86 line).
