So far we have seen as Deluxes Bumblebee SS and Soundwave, which I suspect might both be preview figures.
Then as scouts we have the red car, the little truck, the forklift, the motorcycle, and now the boat.
Plus we had the legends we saw (Prime, JetFire, and soemthing else?).
I can't wait to see some actual voyager or larger actual character figures.

I was going to not get so many movie figures this go around, but with stuff this cool I’m not sure I can resist. I’m impressed so far.

Looks good, though. Think Hasbro finally learned how to make non-crappy boat altmodes. It took them this long to get decent motorcycles too.

Until we get official word as to who they are and what size they are I wouldn't count them as scouts just yet. I would say this one and the bike have a good chance of being deluxe figures.
I love the look of proto-type resin figures. I remember the first time I ever saw Classics Astrotrains proto-type. Amazing. The paint job made it great too, but I hope for the fans sake the paint jobs on these don't suck hard like the other three we've seen painted.

It seems awfully detailed with lots of joints.
I don't care if it is, but I'm still questioning it.

This is the second thread where someone says the Scout Class has poor detailing. I don't agree with this at all. The only class I've seen with poor detailing is the awful Legends class.
There's been some great Scouts over the years like Strongarm (and that axe!!!), Arcee, Ransack and Divebomb. I only wish they gave us the unrealised yet obvious repaints like Divebomb/Banzai-tron and Swerve/Hot Rod.
And as for the years to get a cool motorbike comment? G1 Afterburner is still the best TF motorcycle ever. Like G1 Override and Cybertron Ransack too. In fact the only bike I don't like is Cybertron Lugnut, oh and Wreck-gar.
Any pics of the Scout Forklift and Motorcycle? Hadn't heard of them until now.
Would love a Scout version of Bumblebee and Barricade.

Yeah, I've been hoping for this. Downsizing a few key characters would solve a lot of scale issues. It'd also give us a decent excuse to get yet another movie Bumblebee figure, and give Hasbro a new mold to repaint a zillion times.

By the way, that Scout class forklift we saw recently, I'm betting that it's part of Devastator.

I thought that combining devastator was going to be drones like Energon Prime!

The fact that it's a Scout and there doesn't seem to be connecting points seem to indicate that it's not a part of Devastator.

Seems to have a better transformation than Thunderblast, not as blatantly Shellfo, but I hope those legs are mistransformed/posed badly.

My money is on Seaspray. I think they'd make Tidal Wave a bigger bot if they were to make him. It's nice to see some naval TF's too...it's an area of vehicle modes that IMHO has been largely neglected over the years.

Considering that there's upwards of 7 vehicles in this Devastator(depending who you listen to), I don't think the small size class matters. I have a feeling they might use differnet size classes for different parts anyway. Also, with that amount of constructicons, why would they want to add extra non-Devastator construction toys to the line.
That there doesn't seem to be connecting points might just be that they've done a good job. At this point, I don't claim to know one way or another, but I hope that they'll do scout versions of at least some of the onscreen characters. It'd be ideal for something like Dispensor.

Homage factor, maybe. Didn't we hear that the construction vehicles in the movie will have different colours than the traditional green and purple, or something a while back?
Granted, the connection points could just be done in the oldschool way (like G1 Dev's hip unit), but I'm not sure what a little dude like this would do combined with the larger guys. Would he become a kneecap? There's not much bulk to this guy, after all.
By the way, I'm not calling you out or trying to hate on you, Bumblethumper, I'm just putting my theories out there, that's all. Sorry if I come off sounding confrontational.

Who said you were? It's just a standard point-counterpoint exchange.
Regarding colour, yeah they're supposed to be different colours this time, but that doesn't mean an individual one of them can't be green. He could be the head, or a hand, or just add bulk. Either way, I don't have a stake in it, I just hope the final product is worth the wait and the money. Forklift scout guy is cool whether he's part of Devastator or not.

I'm getting old and crotchety about these things.
The fact that the last of my movie-line dedicated shelves is slated for packing-away to create shelf space is not moving my money towards this line thus far.
