The second wave of Cominer Force Robots in Disguise 3-Steps has been found in the US. In this wave, joining Soundwave, is a redeco of two older molds, Steeljaw and Bumblebee. It is rather odd that it is a redeco of the older Bumblebee 3-step toy and not the new one and even more odd that it is of a deco that is strinkingly similar to the Toysrus Exclusive Clash of the Transformers redeco/retool from two years ago. These were all found at Target in Saratoga, CA, by TFW2005 member JukeOutlander.

This TF fan was kind enough to even share the UPC codes for any fans keeping track.

... and this is why. The redecos all have added "titles". Here's what I can see:

Bumblebee: Power Surge Bumblebee
Thunderhoof: Seismic Shock Thunderhoof
Steeljaw: Cybertron Strike Steeljaw

Grimlock is the only one I can't figure out. *EDIT*... because he's a new mold, not a redeco. Durh 8-}

And am I the only one who thinks trademarking the "Hyper-something" is kind of dumb?

Thanks to Snakas Blog, we have a new image of the upcoming Robots in Disguise: Combiner Force Crash Combiner Shocknado! Shocknado is comprised of Shockdrive and Warnado (didn't see those names coming, did ya?) and appears to be nearly a straight re-deco of Skyhammer. Warnado in particular is worth looking at, as he appears to be styled similarly to Cyclonus. Also shown off were the upcoming Lunar Force Primestrong and another image showing the previous 2 figures and Dragbreak together. This is strange because the legion IS called Cyclonus. Maybe Warnado will be his alias?
Then again, not exactly like this size class has been very accurate - Dragbreak, anyone?

The Legion is Cyclonus proper, as the Galvatronus combiner one has the same alt mode.

Hey guys, how do the legend/scout-ish figures of Optimus, Strongarm, Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Grimlock that came in the mini-con battlepacks scale with Generations Legends? Same size, bit smaller, bit bigger? Anyone got pics?

Courtesy of a post on Instagram by user Marcus Goh, we finally have a sighting for some new RiD Warriors - the long-awaited redecos of Blastwave and Bisk; Bludgeon and Thermidor! These were sighted at Singapore retail with unfortunately no details on the price or store, but we at least now know they're out there and they may start popping up elsewhere shortly. Check out the picture below and tell us if you plan to get these two in the Energon Pub!

Can't wait for these to trickle down in my neck of the woods. I've been tempted to buy the cosplay Bludgeon (Blastwave) but I decided to just wait for the actual Bludgeon.

Not really digging the red parts on Bludgeon that should be more of a brownish (or somewhere in between), but that'll still be worth a pickup if I have the money and it ever shows up here. Almost picked up that precolored version, but this will be better even with that wacky red.

I like that lobsterboy is essentially a Vehicon with some remolded robit parts.

I got Blastwave already, only because I like the deco, and it resembles a KO I own. I've renamed him Dokuronin. :lol:

But that won't stop me from getting Bludegon as the G1 guy. Best part: no rubbery plastic to worry about. Those bent swords, ugh.

I've passed up on Bisk to wait for Thermidor (whose head sculpt I like much better, something about Bisk weirds me out for some reason). Hope I get a shot at him before too long.

Ugh Dragstrip and Wildbreak's colors are switched. (Therefore each of of them has the wrong head)

That would explain why Wildbreak has the G1 Dragstrip alt mode instead of both sharing the same car and why their positions on the combiner are switched.

Btw i've tried TRU Singapore website as well as BBTS, Kapow, Smyth's Toys, Hamleys, Amazon, Ebay, The Chosen Prime, Robotkingdom & The Entertainer for Thermidor(either in stock or preorder) but sadly....no joy

If you're searching for the latest in Combiner Force offerings, look no further; the UltraBee and Menasor sets have been sighted on US soil! Both sets were sighted by yours truly in, of all places, local comic book shop Memory Lane Comics in coastal Wilmington, North Carolina. Despite them not being found in standard retail, this is a good sign: it means that they will soon hit brick-and-mortar stores of the norm very soon!

Our very own chuckdawg1999 has done a video review of Hyperchange Soundwave. In the video below he shows us the ins and outs of how this new figure transforms. If you are a fan of the Robots in Disguise series, you will want to know that Combiner Force figures are showing up at stores in the US.

I just got Skysledge & Stormhammer. Stormhammer is a bit to hair trigger for my liking - just look a him funny and he pops open on his own.
