Unicron appears to have a completely different face you can pop on revealing a fearsome level of detailed bot brains behind it.
The iconic finale of the animated movie is represented here where the Matrix tore the turquoise titan asunder leaving his head orbiting Cybertron for all eternity as the lone reminder of the greatest Transformer battle ever.
Here's a short video preview:
You can put in your order for Unicron at Haslab here. There's only 16 days 12 hours and 8 minutes left so act fast!

So you can recreate his head blowing the heck off at the end of the 86 movie yeah baby.

Hopefully, they will next reveal teeny, tiny Dinobots that we can attach to his butt.

Great call! I'm thinking some insane blast effects - fire breath, explosions, eye blasts maybe, I don't know. Just accessories we haven't seen with Jetfire or Omega like multi-part fireblasts in that cool bluegreen Unicron would shoot in the final battle.
I would love to see somewhere in there the brain module with all the screens or a smelting pool when you open his stomach things like that would be crazy cool.

If this actually goes through, I will be 100% getting a big styrofoam ball to turn into a planet for Unicron to munch on.

Just get Star Wars/Transformers Darth Vader/Death Star.

....but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m a semi-responsible adult with bills, groceries, etc. Had they announced this with more time for us to save, I’dve been all for this. $600 in such short notice is impossible for me. I’ll stick with my childhood Armada Unicron I suppose.

Once again ...
The Pulse total does NOT currently include orders from the likes of TTMall or EB Games/Zing (Australia) and various other online retailers.
Posted by Sabrblade on August 15th, 2019 @ 8:26pm CDT
That number is only counting the Hasbro Pulse orders. You're forgetting all of the orders placed through international venues and alternative retailers like BBTS and TFsource, whose orders likely won't be added to the number until closer to the deadline.dragons wrote:THis figure have some nice features sadly it will never become reality to be made unless Hasbro decides to extend deadline 16 days and backers are at 2564 still not at halfway point any updates on this toy pointless if deadline will not be extended

This is one of the reasons why I’m hesitant on this. To me, Unicron must have a beard, it’s one of the signature things about him.

Somehow.

Because this thing transforms completely differently from Armada Unicron in order to make a perfect sphere to the point that an entirely new mold was required to get it into being a perfect sphere.MeGrimlockKing2018 wrote:This while a nice feature to mimic the end of the 1986 movie but why couldn't Hasbro have taken the Armada Unicron and retooled into this version that does all this AND can form a COMPLETELY round planet mode

It also has way less kibble than the armada one.

I wouldn't say there's LESS kibble... maybe more compact kibble?
Posted by Evil Eye on August 16th, 2019 @ 12:42pm CDT
I honestly think this would have turned out better if they'd not tried so hard to make both modes carbon copies of the movie model- it's not quite accurate anyway (especially in colours) and I feel he'd be less reliant on panel kibble if he either took some compromises with having a perfectly spherical planet mode or took creative liberties with the robot mode such that the planet surface formed more parts of the robot body, resulting in a slightly more rounded and less accurate but ultimately more pleasing and better engineered figure.
That being said I still hope it gets made and that everyone who gets it likes it. I'm sticking with my Armada Unicron but this does look interesting, and I still love that planet maw gear gimmick.

But I can kinda see how a setup would go. There's two CHUG ghost Starscreams and a few Scourges you could use to have a small display while Unicron's body is in planet mode.
But it isn't something that moves the needle for me. That said I backed it a few weeks ago.

Click the link HERE to go to the Instagram page and post your question, but everyone should probably take a moment to scroll through the questions already asked as there appear to be multiple variations of the questions that have already been posed in our own forums, some voicing their frustrations with tact, others not so much so reader beware.
Even though the video is quite short John again mentions even more reveals soon to come...

Well maybe a 3rd Party can produce an Add On piece or maybe a special type of pen with the proper ink that simply goes on and wipes off for one's own preference...I'm just sayin'.
