Edit: Huh. Just Googled the Elite Guard badge. It's very similar, but not quite the same. The Elite Guard logo has three chevron-thingies that sit at an upwards angle, but the insignia on Blades only has two, and they're straight.

And the box art is lying about Blades' "hands."
They really should've done more to distinguish these from earlier uses of these molds. The 3-pack in particular still looks just like Ratchet, Prowl, and Arcee. Simply using the alternate heads for First Aid and Hot Spot would've worked wonders.

Since I don't see TF4 or Age of Extinction anywhere, it's safe to assume they're like the blank 2010 line toys: they can fit in anywhere.

I'm thinking these mutli-packs might be the catalyst that forces TFWiki to change its "Transformers: Age of Extinction (toyline)" page to a "Transformers (2014 toyline) page.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Since I don't see TF4 or Age of Extinction anywhere, it's safe to assume they're like the blank 2010 line toys: they can fit in anywhere.

And the Legends Optimus Prime, Starscream and Bumblebee re-re-releases haven't done so already? If I were you I'd wait a little while longer until we get package shots of the Generations 2015 toys. If they match in style we get 2010 all over again.

That Hot Spot/Blades set though... Had they used Hot Spot's GDO head and the Inferno version of the mold, it'd be a little better. But as it stands, no thanks.

But then it would just be GDO Hot Spot in red. It'd look more like Fire Chief instead. At least with the crane arm we get something evocative of a ladder.Mindmaster wrote:That Hot Spot/Blades set though... Oh my goodness, you guys! Blades has the color scheme of Fly-Up!
And Hot Spot being red makes him look a bit like Fire Chief!
Sadly, though, the other three don't look that much like Safety, Sparkride, or Streetstar. We could have had updated versions of all of the Guard City dudes.

Who said they were trying to be show-accurate? In fact, none of these bodies are show-accurate anyway, so how could they ever be show-accurate?mcfmullen wrote:The colors are all wrong. Not accurate to the show at all.

They weren't really supposed to. We already have a color accurate Hot Spot:
RotF Evac comes close enough to Blades, just switch out the orange for red:
Plus, using the original G1 colors would have resulted in near carbon copies of Prime Ratchet and Prowl.

Yes. Yes it does. And Universe Bonecrusher, with a little black paint, and some yellow stripes, is a hop, skip, and jump from being Boulder. Need a good Chase though. Using RID Prowl right now, and I glued a lego stud to DOTM Spec. Ratchet so I could mount a Ladder to him for Heatwave, although this might get subbed in.
I want to get GDO Hit Spot even more now, and use the Guard City names for the fire truck and helicopter, and one day Heatwave is going to get a long-lost distress call from Rescue Team Alpha-1.
Also, I love that Groove comes with two guns. (on package) And that I used the same guns for the same setup on Arcee.

I like that Groove isn't that different from Arcee. It's almost like Hasbro knows that there's a lot of people with three different molds/retools of a deluxe blue Arcee from TFP so that they can take one of them and use it in place of the Cyberverse figure they're providing if it bothers them so much. Not to mention that it seems Hasbro has some kind of inkling that some people own a blue firetruck and many red/orange rescue helicopters already and decided not to make more.
Not that I own any of those figures I alluded to other than FE Arcee but you know, many many others do. That might be why I like these more than others as I only own Smokescreen and Flamewar out of all of these molds and don't even have any of the myriad of stand-ins for any of these characters but that's neither here nor there.
I get the hate over Smokescreen's missile net thing and all but I actually like the armor and would've liked to see it on Streetwise and Prowl. It IS optional after all and you don't need to display them with it but it's just nice to have for those who would want to.

Is there a significant difference? If the differences are barely noticable, I'll stick with just rapints/remold. Beside, the Grapple remolding needed that repaint badly so I'm all over the voyagers set!
_-looking at wiki-- Hmmmm... That inferno Henkai may be worth it. As for Grapple... Just a yellow head? Meh...
Now, where the hell is the Grapple repaint of HAULER?

I may have a chance to have a MISB Henkei Inferno for 40$ locally so I'll try to buy it for sure! Henkei Inferno is totally different from the original and well worth it.

While these are straight repaints of wave 1 figures Hasbro switches things up by swapping Targetmasters. Nemesis Prime gets a repaint of Blazemaster done up like Spinister complete with spinning rotor blade of doom. I've always been a fan of this mold and really like how it pops in black with teal highlights.

That's nice and all... as long that you are American. The rest is screwed and us Canadian get slapped a 30$ of BASE shipping fee. Which mean it's 30$ plus X$ per figures. Also, they add taxes on top of your order!
So, pass.

That would be odd, could I see pics of the inserts? The last two releases, Skrapnel and Tailgate, were numbers 007 and 008.

Holy nonsensical numbering! Maybe they screwed up and numbered them in series with the Deluxe Figures? Tankor, Rattrap, and Crosscut are 15-17.

You had to check if what I said in the previous post was true, didnt you? Also, you forgot the taxes that still apply. Also, they MUST use FedEx, which mean it's a hassle to get your damn package if you're not at home.
Order a few toys from BBTS instead. you'll still have to pay some shipping costs, but it will be way less than from HTS. Plus, no taxes.

Sure, do you know if there's an easy way to post from Instagram since that's what I usually use? I hate to say it's kinda a pain to post pics here.

All you'd need is the link to the file itself (a URL ending in .jpg, .gif, basically any image format) which you can get by right-clicking and selecting "Copy Image Location", and the [img] tags. Resizing should be done automatically.
