Well, from the image we can see that this Decepticon's Mini-Con's name is Chopster... And it definitely fits with the packaging sample of Huffer and Caliburst in terms of how the figures look (Movie-esque with a transparent plastic Mini-Con)
I'm interested to see the "Power-up Armor" modes, though...

So it's a cross up between targetmasters and godmasters. Interesting. I don't care for a decepticon fire truck though, but I do love a bad guy with an axe to grind.

So it's a Targetmaster, a Powermaster, and a Breast Force thing all in one?! OMG this is so awesome! I wonder who this is though. It's a red fire truck, but it's a Decepticon. And we still don't know what line this will be under, but I'm thinking movie judging from the style of the robot and the packaging, and I think the Con symbols might be the movie ones.

Looks good. I really like how these Mini-Cons turn into equipment for their larger friends than absuredly dinky vehicles. They also appear larger and must be more complex to be 4-changers. It's more play value and makes a hell of a lot more sense than being canonically scaled for 6 inch tall humans.

Very nice to finally see toy technology carry all these sublines into a single line. I hope it's Universe 3.0, the last generation didn't have nearly enough new molds. The symbol is harder to say, but I'm saying leaning towards the larger eyes of the non-movie lines.

tis intresting. hopefully they'll bringing back the best of the Armada concept.
dont think im going to pick this one up however.

first glance at the robot pick made me think "optimus? " but clearly not.

perhaps our first Flatline toy?

Truck mode looks very nice from this picture, i like it, and robot mode looks pretty good too. These seem very interesting. I do love Truckformers, so this looks great so far.

Towards the top left of the first image the border seems eerily similar to that of the ROTF line..Honestly as much as I enjoyed it, it's time for something new..Maybe it will tie into a new cartoon coming up on the new network?

The Truck looks fairly interesting,. and there's just something about translucent weaponry that just makes a toy that much more bad ass.

So the minicon partner turns into an Axe type thing, a tank or treaded vehicle, a tiny robot, and a gun, cannon turret thing. So cool... So...Very...Very...Cool.

No worries. Do some digging and look at the mock-up with Huffer in the original post. Assuming that's a legimate sample, it's clearly NOT a Movie line Autobrand. If this tied to the new cartoon I will believe there is still good in the world. Between this and War on cybertron, I'm in my happy place.

I saw "er" at the end of his name so Incinerater maybe. That would be a cool name for a Decepticon Fire truck or is it Incinerator if thats the case I have no clue. I need more information.

I like the aesthetic, eventhough it's close to the movies'. It says that the minicons may attach to any commander... how many commanders will there be? I really want to see the "body armor" mode.

I really hope these figures arent going to be reliant on the minicon to do simple tasks like transform or unlock a weapon. Being a weapon or armor is cool just dont make the figure need to have a minicon. I am glad to see target masters again. i always liked the concept. And the design of the figures are looking good so far.

Can't wait to see what sort of Optimus Prime will be born from this line. As someone who unfortunately missed out on the amazing Cybertron Omega Prime... I'd love to see something as advanced.

I'm so glad these are real (including huffer and caliburst) I'm really looking forward to this line, between the awesome bot modes and the incredible minicon type partners, I'm really stoked, hopefully the price range will be fair, I'm wondering if the voyager minicons will be scale with the size or if they will come with extras. Totally stoked to see more of this line! At this point I plan to get the whole line as I was way to casual-a-fan when the original minicons were available (Armada, Energon). These are looking great so far.

To the poster that sees tank treads on Chopster, I disagree, I think what we are seeing is the arms of Chopster, I don't believe the minicons are meant to have individual vehicle modes, instead I believe vehicle weapon mode refers to the vehicle (commander) and it's weapon (minicon) awesome all the same.

Loving this line so far!

thanks for the post is anyone else but me getting an armada prime feeling when i look at his shoulders he looks great do want to see more but i am dissapointed in the power combiner theme i expected combiners not armada resufcing but either even if the title is mislead in some ways i do like armad series to thats a good thing

I agree, I would much rather have mini-con partners that turn into usable weapons and armor instead of dinky vehicles.

What would be cool is if we finally got a new version of Soundwave that included more than one minion. This kind of thing just begs to have a Soundwave with minions that actually DO something. Yes, Cybertron Soundwave had a Laserbeak disguised as a bomb, and Animated Soundwave has Laserbeak and Ratbat as a guitar and keytar, but how cool would it be if Frenzy and Rumble turned into handheld blasters, while Ravage turned into chest armor and Laserbeak turned into a jet pack?

Even if Soundwave came with only one, that would be okay, as long as the others could be bought separately, just like in G1.

I’m sorry, I’m geeking out right now. Lol

All in all, this is cool. This made my day.

I refuse to judge until we see the actual figures and what they do. I'm thinking though that the car prototype we saw a while back with the WoC game Prime prototype must be from this line.

They have me suckered in with the idea, but they did the same with other lines.

I really do like the 'look into the past' with the whole Minicon becomes gun, vehicle, armor, and robot. I like that idea a lot, especially if it brings us a new combiner by the name of Lio Kaiser, or maybe Road Caesar?

I'm willing to give them a chance.

Well, I've got high hopes. This figure looks great from these blurry pictures. I wonder if the head follows the sensibilities of G1, Bayformer or something else.

If it is indeed Minicons who become weapons/armour for the bulks, I hope we get some Master homages like Skullcruncher, Sureshot or Joyride.

Don't know if I'd necessarily go as far as saying it looks crappy, but I am with ya in that I'm definitely not wowed at this point. To me, it reminds me of one of the previous line molds repainted to sell in the movie line.

I'd say, as far as name goes, that this will either be called Flatliner or Decepticon Axer. My reasoning is that you can just make out an ER in the second line of the robot's description. Based on how long those lines of text would need to be to make sense, I think it's going to be Decepticon Axer. The fact that the axe minicon is named Chopster, as well as the implication of a firetruck being akin to a firefighter, weilding an axe, would probably support this. In any case, I look forward to this line, and with luck they'll fit well as a bridge between the Armada-Energon-Cybertron figures and those from Classics and Universe 2.0.

Now all I need to be completely happy would be for Hasbro to announce minicon sets of three, like in Armada, but each turning into a convincing weapon. A rifle pack, a melee pack, a rocket launcher pack, a chemical weapon pack, etc, would be great for arming all of those poor transformers who didn't come with their own weapons.

Ok, so it looks like his name is just Commander. In the upper area explaining what Power Core Combiners are it just barely gives you enough to make out what his full name is.

"MINI-CONS and drone vehicles (sold separately} attach to power-up any Commander figure!

So this tells me one of two things. More then one character will be given the generic name Commander or some type of prefix will be attached to other Commander figures in the future (ex. Air Commander)

I'm working on the bio too. Just two words that don't fully make sense.

No one holds a grudge like Commander. He plots elaborate ___________ against his hundreds of enemies, and thanks to his combination with CHOPSTER he has the power to see ____ ____ of them through.

But with all that said you can just barely make out the start of a second name just below where it says Commander in yellow. Gah' friggin' pictures.

Man am i a sucker for minicons. This looks amazing but knowing Hasbro I am holding my breath. They need to redeem themselves with this in my book, otherwise my money will be going to FansProject the first quarter of this year. :lol:

I have to admit that i like the idea of a Decepticon firefighter. He can pal around with 07 Barracade against Prowl and Inferno! Now we just need a Decepticon ambulance and rescue helicoper to counter Blades and Ratchet and the anti-Rescue Heroes will be complete...

Well now, that's TWO figures from this line that have turned me off.

So far, not so good.

I will still wait and see what the figures are truly like, before making a final judgment, just like I said I would with the WFC figures.

I want them to wow me, I really do, but so far they just ain't gettin' it.
