Another listing appeared in Yahoo Japan which sees the new 3 pack legends class figures for the Dark Of The Moon line.

This 3 pack featured Bumblebee and Soundwave - both from the legends class, with an additional bundle of Rodimus from the Universe legends class mold. Is this a random repack or some indication of things to come?

So, for those who missed out these legend class figures, it might be a good time to pick them up.

In my opinion, that limited release of the Universe Legend was a huge blunder on Hasbros part.

Never saw them at retail, and now I have to spend $35 a legend to get them. That would be cool if it is the same coloring.

Speaking of stuff we never saw in retail, did that Target-exclusive pack with Legends of the 3 bike-sisters fighting Sideways ever come out, or was that canceled? I wanted that one way more than all the exclusive repaints I ever actually saw in Target.

This? Yeah, I'll probably have to get it for Wheelimus *ahem* Orange Rodimus too, though Blue Soundwave always makes a 3-pack worth it, if barely (lousy Nemesis gathering...)

Is that the same Bumblebee mold that came with Nightracer Shadow Striker?

Oh I so want this. Rodimus looks like he's in his G1 colors, or more accurately, his Masterpiece colors. Interesting. I definitely want this!

I also love that Soundwave is in his Infiltration colors from the Soundwave/Bumblebee 2 pack. Is this the same paint deco as the Japanese exclusive repaint of Infiltration Soundwave?

Not quite. He has Soundwave's G1 colors, the blue is too rich for the Infiltrator deco.

I'll have to get this. DOTM has me on a cyberverse/legends kick now and I've bought up what straggling HFTD legends I could because of it. I want that Soundwave and Rodimus. I've got DOTM legends Bumblebee though, so I'm really not interested in the repainted ROTF legends BB but I guess it can just represent BB before his upgrades. DOTM version is so much nicer.

No way a HotRod & a Soundwave packed together? Never thought id see the day when my 2 favorite characters would be in the same box, Thats frakin awesome. god i hope its not a store exclusive. Only thing that sucks is that im going to be stuck with another bumblebee but its a small price to pay not to try and hunt down Soundwave & Rod on their own, plus the gold doesnt look half bad. The legends wave that had that HotRod was never released over here so im very happy to see this is coming out.

I have a growing army of Legends class figures. I must have close to 100 of these little guys now. The only ones I'm missing off the top of my head are the Takara Tomy solid color Starscream repaints (Seekers) and their ROTF exclusives (Infiltration Soundwave, Defender Optimus Prime, and Demolishor). I'm pretty sure that's all I'm missing but there might some other odd exclusives or variants that I don't have my hands on yet. Not too concerned about getting them ... but it'd be nice.

Dude, everytime I think I have figured out all of Hasbro's tricks and angles, they hit me up anew! I will absolutely buy this and I already have 2 legends BB's and zero interest in a SW legends. Clever.

Now Windcharger is a possibility I haven't considered...but who really knows who he is besides anyone who watched the G1 show? Well, we've gotten several "wait...who is that again?" characters in the movies so far...so he's not out.
But Rod is just more logical...but maybe too logical and too predictable...but he is really popular...

I'm missing the Orange, White, and Black Starscream Clones (Thanks Diem for Blue and Purple!), the red desert combat rampage, Tsutatya Clear Concept Camaro Bumblbee, Tsutaya Gold '74 Bumblebee, and sadly the entire wave of EZ figures with the Ice Cream Truck Twins and Elite Guard Prime and Prowl.

I've got all the crazy Galaxy Force EZ figures (the partial clear three pack and E-Hobby Galvatron in the tiny box that looks just like the regular release of GF Master Galvatron).

They're almost as much fun as Minicons.

But I laugh at the hardcore Hot Rod fans and completionists who have to buy this pack for the tiny repainted legends. At least you guys get a free Bumblebee and Soundwave figure right?
