So I'll be sure to het this one... who will ironically have the repros upgrade along some 3D printed upgrades to be truly perfect. For starter, that drill is way too small and the way it's positioned, the best it can do to a rock wall is to scratch some obscenities. It needs a big-ass drill that would convert into a sword/shield combo or something.
I'm looking forward to it.

The Japanese love their drill-tanks since the 1960's at the very least. But rare are those with a LOGICAL drill.
Btw, don't bother googling "top 10 drill tanks".

I can't help with the size of the bit, but there is an easy solution hiding in plain sight for the position. Instead of putting the arm "canon" on the top of the tank, just put it between the drill bit and the axe to move the drill bit forward of the treads. At least that is what I'm going to do.

It make sense if your goal is to give people trypophobia by poking tiny holes all over the place.

Well, not every CC was rereleased. Kingdom Rodimus was the exception to the seemingly (now established) pattern. However it could quite possibly be that Hasbro felt that Rodimus was such a popular character, they probably produced far more than Jetfire and Skylynx initially. Thus the reason why Kingdom Rodimus was so heavily discounted at various different times (even being 50% of for a time). Even today, almost 2 years after its release, you can find Kingdom Rodimus for *basically* retail price on the secondary market. BBTS and Amazon still have them in stock.
With Motormaster it seems Hasbro just went "Back to Formula" Producing a specific amount initially, then seeing a demand for more, they are doing a second run. Seems to be working with CC for the most part. I bet they could even do a 2nd run on SG Jetfire, and it would sell well (I'm sure they wont but...) Although if you REALLY are wanting to add Armada Prime to your collection (this will be for SURE the first CC I am skipping as it dosen't fit in my collection), I wouldn't wait, I'd get it while its available through an online retailer. However if you DO happen to miss out, just wait a year or so...

Miner Megatron also has new chest and shoulder pieces. Along with the new weapons, a new head isn't that big of thing to add. Makes you wonder why they didn't add them in the first place...

Another interesting note, the pattern on the shoulder stripes is reversed from how it was on the headless, probably factory reject copies (black-yellow-black vs yellow-black-yellow, respectively). The new pattern is more accurate, so it'll be interesting to see which version gets used.

It's subtle, but it's actually a new sculpt. It's most visible on the forehead, where on the new one the red markings are molded thicker and cover more area, and the caution stripe part has a v-shape to it. The cheek guards are slightly different too. That's why I'm surprised, they already had a perfectly good headsculpt designed for this very purpose, yet they made a new one anyway.

New chest, new shoulders, new weapons... why not a new head to round it off?

I feel like we're overdue for a new Drift, especially after his appearance in Cyberverse. Not a remake of the Generations figure but the late IDW version that was hanging out with Hot Rod and Ratchet with the red face markings and Cybertronian alt mode.

I'd like that new Drift as well. I still have my Gen Drift from way back then. Back when deluxes where big, chunky, complex, and only cost 15$CAN at FULL price.
Speaking of that Gen Drift, anyone know why he's sold for so much on the Japanese market? He's always around 10K yen at Mandarake and for much more from Japanese eBay sellers.
Looking.
Well, looks like American sellers has joined in on the fun.
My friend was damn lucky to have found him sealed at a flea market 1 or 2 years ago for 30$CAN.
