Unless I find a big Matrix or something to cram in Primes chest.
Does anyone remember the display pics they had a while back that showed Thundercracker and Bombshell attached to Ultra Prime's chest? How'd they do it?

Yeah don't do this. All you'll accomplish is breaking Thundercrackers hands. I've seen a few people who've done this to Starscream and Thundercracker.
Thanks. I definitely don't want to do that. Are the chest pegs the problem?
Yes. They're just a tad too big to fit into the hands on the Legend Seekers. Also I think Thundercracker's hands are made of a just thinner plastic than Starscream's

By cheating, using the pegs and windows merely as support: they just literally hang in there loosely more or less.
Again, the pegs in the Motormaster/Optimus Prime mold chest are only for the Blackjack mold. Trying to force other figures on those pegs can and will result in breakage, there have been instances of the Seeker hands breaking after attempts of pegging them in.

Many of the CHUG molds were pretty much spot on in both modes with the exception of modern engineering. This includes the seeker mold, rodimus, bluestreak mold, tracks mold, cyclonus, the new arcee, blitzwing, etc. Also the beast wars CHUG figures are pretty much spot on homages to. Not all the CHUG figures are neo.

I feel closed definitely looks better than open and empty, but I also now find myself doubting Blackjack's merit. I think I might like the visible silver and purple truck components connecting to the arms.

The chest pegs are an awkward shape and appear to be slightly larger than a standard 5mm peg. Also Thundercracker's hands are open which are more likely to be weaker than a TF with closed fists (like Bombshell).
I fixed this by removing a small amount of plastic from each peg and now Thundercracker attaches perfectly without any breakage.

theres aesthetic choices that id argue makes them neo. only ones id give you are SS, arcee, and rhinox. but thats all opinion, sooo.... *shrug*Rated X wrote:Many of the CHUG molds were pretty much spot on in both modes with the exception of modern engineering. I believe that's our first look of the compartment being closed. Certainly does call into question of Blackjack's necessity. I might still get him, simply because the Decepticon Legends are pitifully outnumbered by the Autobot Legends on my shelves.

Like Prime, it seems to be a dual homage: closed, it resembles the Cartoon Model, opens with Blackjack it calls back to the original toy. Have we figured out the chest detailing yet? I'm not buying the AoE Galvatron bit...

I actually don't have a problem with that approach, as long as there will be something in the MP line to do that. Thundercracker, for example, have fun with him. What I get concerned over is when you start to hear things like the new Generations Constructicons being repackaged in the MP line. I'd hate to see that happen at all, but that big weird noggin on Menasor is too much to bear should the Stunticons be ported over as well. That being said, I know that was a rumor, and there's probably nothing to it, but that's where my concern lies. Make 30 member Aerialbot teams in the generations line, I don't care, but leave MP alone

Well, most of the time. There is always the possibility that the stunticons will be packed with huge chested anime racing groupies

I was struggling to understand why Ironhide and Prowl would make up part of a gestalt called "Fakeasuar," which sounds like a faux-dinosaur. Then I realized it was an attempted portmanteau of "fake" and "Menasor," which should probably be spelled "Fakeasor" instead.

Shouldn't it be Jazz, Windcharger, Mirage, and Sideswipe if it's referencing the Masquerade episode?
If they're doing that, they should try the 2005 Autobots in a combiner too.
Ultra Magnus - Optimus Prime
Kup - Offroad
Hot Rod - Breakdown
Blurr - Dead End
Springer - Alpha Bravo
Wheelie - Blackjack

First off, it appears as though we will be getting a Voyager Cyclonus! It seems he will be the wave-mate of Protectobot Hot Spot, as both have similar coding (Hot Spot is B2397, and Cyclonus is B2398), and are one digit off in UPC (Hot Spot is 63050929832, and Cyclonus is 63050929833). Secondly, the previously-reported white Voyager Optimus Prime redeco will be named Optimus Maximus, and will be in wave 4 (his code is B2727, with the UPC 63050932502).
Mr. Chaos also reports having the UPCs for some of the upcoming Deluxe and Legends figures, though it is nothing that we haven't heard of before. The wave 3 Deluxes will consist of the Protectobots. Their codes and UPCs are as follows:
Blades - B2393, UPC 63050929828
Streetwise - B2394, UPC 63050929829
First Aid - B2395, UPC 63050929830
Rook - B2396, UPC 63050929831
Wave 4 will be the Autobot "Masquerade homage" figures - those being Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Prowl, and Mirage. While we have no definite word on wave numbers, Legends Blackjack, Huffer, Groove, Warpath, Viper, Rodimus, and Skywarp are also coming up.

Yes, but those same supposed confirmations included something called Optimus Maximus. Maybe it's a Nexus Prime repaint?
In regards to Motormaster, his bot mode is PERFECT, his vehicle mode is PERFECT, but his torso mode is MEH. Superion nailed it, Motormaster just looks weird.

It's nice to know the Protectobots will all be available at the same time. None of this 4-members-now-wait-til-the-next-wave-for-the-last-guy stuff we're dealing with now.
