Demonstrate how he's the only Autobot to have never been killed despite being in all four previous films? :P

I can't seen to word that properly but you get what I mean.

My first reaction to bee was "oh that's why Joshu(Stanley tucci) is back. They're issuing tech from his company. That's who bee can reassemble"

Certainly more feesable right now till it's explained

Wha...wha...whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. Did I just see that? Bee blown to bits and then reassembles himself as if each element works independently? We have never seen this before...and the Bay-Team :michaelbay: decides to highlight it now? There better "Bee" a damn good explanation for such technology. [-( The International trailers are always better...minus the now known comic relief human character that is totally unnecessary...thought that is why we had so many kids in this film (meaning kids were the comic relief).

Oh, BULLSQUIRT!

We got four films with Transformers all dying after getting blown to bits or torn apart or otherwise completely mangled into a pile of parts, and yet when it happens to Bumblebee (FIVE MOVIES IN, no less), he can just reassemble himself like it was nothing?

I mean, Bee loses just his legs in the first film and acts like he's in severe pain, moving very slowly as though he's on the verge of death. But now he can have every body part fall apart and be A-OK after a simple self-reassembly by the power of magic all of a sudden.

If we don't get some in-universe explanation (and which better be a darn good one), then that is complete and utter BULL-SQUIRT!

Yeah like in the 86 movie. If only met the Autobots met the junkions before Optimus died.

Seriously, like I said KSI created new transformer tech in the last one and by the end of the movie Joshua became allies with Cade and the Autobots. We've seen in the other trailers them working Bee in the junkyard. It's not that hard to figure it out that Bumblebee has been upgraded.

Certainly better and throwing a fit over 5 seconds in a 2 minute trailer to a over 2 hour long movie.

ok...at first I had the same reaction, but I was reminded of a video recently explaining how Ultra Magnus got put back together by the Junkions in TF:TM, despite the fact that so many other Autobots & Decepticons had just died.

I guess the safe answer is...TF's can get blown apart, as long as their spark is in tact they will live on. But the pulling yourself back together thing... that would have been way better if they did not reveal that in the trailer, kids would have went ballistic on seeing that (even if I think its kind of  )

If you have to come up with your own personal rationale for it to make sense (in lieu of the film's presently not yet being released, of course), then doesn't it stand to reason that the presentation given as is doesn't make sense on its own since the explanation is coming from yourself rather than the source trailer we're provided with?

For once the absurdities of Bee's plot armor is actually bothering me even as a fan of these movies like I know some people think Bayformers are like Bionicles but this is ridiculous eh?

Also Quintessa's face disturbs me thanks people who wanted them to look human now we suffer from the uncanny valley.

I think Cade reconstructs Bee.

That is why they put that hint-line in about Super Powers - and Cade is "The Last Knight" so it may come with super powers.

So that is why he's able to reconstruct Bee in a similar way to how Buster Witwicky does Jetfire.

Speaking of which that would have been useful to have 8 years ago for poor ol' Jetfire - but then he did also disrupt his own spark (unless Jolt kept it in a box for the last 8 years).

But I doubt Bee does that to himself - "Unless" he gets special abilities too (which is hinted at in some promo-material) but I would expect him to get a body upgrade if he does .

Also who or what shot him ?

A mere human also changed the entire thought of what black holes are in his thesis. His name is Stephen Hawking. Joshua was shown to be a genius that broke down the transformers physiology and "improve it"

We know that from movies 1-3 they didn't share their technology. Once the Alicante was broken KSI started taking them apart and discovering things. That's not that far fetched. Humans have always been changing what's been perceived and creating the impossible. It's not that hard to believe that humanity could change the fundamentals of transformer physiology.

And if you don't believe that well...nebulons and headmasters. It's not an old idea that organic can change transformers to perform better.

I don't think anything shot him. I think he disassembled himself, and then reassembles to catch TRF by surprise.

Hot Rod's in that scene too so if it's anything like 1986...

Anyways out of all the returning AOE bots I expect Hound to die since with the decent amounts of time in AOE and his upbeat attitude more of the general audience probably cares about him above say Crosshairs who is a jerk and Drift who is stoic which makes Hound the perfect one to die either in battle or as a sacrificial lion Hound.

I think Bee was shot - thus the line "What was that"... "That was a mistake" and we see him getting shot at and falling over - so I DON'T think it's implied he wasn't falling apart to avoid getting shot. But that he got blown to pieces.

I was listening to the fans and I know they hated the Optimus paint job with the stripes. Why did I do it? Because I liked the ribs. That caused a lot of grief."
-Michael Bay

I think Bay got very confused there ; that sentence makes so little sense - I've had results from translating Chinese that made more sense than that.

So if he's saying adding things like moving cogs (what we'd likely call "Mech Alive") stuff is fine a bit fussy looking - but fine.

In some ways though Movie Transformers often have LESS Kibble not more.
sure Ironhide had visible break discs in his shoulders and they tend to retain some car parts around and about a bit - but Optimus now has none at all bar a hint of smokestacks.

Bumblebee is more like a Traditional Transformer in that he retains his door kibble and car hood-chest (pretty much) and also has some visible wheels in his ankles and shoulders.

--

I don't think anyone hates Optimus with Stripes - heck even "Evasion mode" Prime still has flames. It is the flames that bug some people sometimes - I don't mind to much as it's not as if Transformers have not had flames on them before.

I'm not sure what he means by Ribs though - does he mean the red panels on 2009's Optimus' abs or the Dark of the Moon change to the belly ?

Or the striping on Western Star Optimus' belly.

I'm confused.

And other bits and pieces if your looking for them, the problem is not that there is no kibble on Prime but it's the fact that all his parts bend and warp like liquid metal so basically Transformers Prime and New RID designs in movie form.

I already did it earlier and was gonna take a photo but then i thought it would be cool if i did it stop motion with him reforming but then i realised that would be hours of tediousness to set up and so i quit.

But yeah I think most people have accidentally pulled off an arm or leg or head from a Transformer whether posing or transforming them or whatever. :P

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the live action films either, like I'm sure you and most of us here are, but even I have to say...why the hell are you so quick to jump the gun on this?

It's...a trailer. They're showing us something that happens in the movie so that whoever watches the trailer will be interested in learning "whoa, what's the story behind that?" and go buy tickets to see the film when it premieres. The same "bewilderment" of Bumblebee reassembling himself could go toward why "all of a sudden", "FIVE MOVIES IN", Optimus Prime has decided to beat the sh*t out of Bumblebee, or why "all of a sudden" Megatron's back. In all cases, they're curveballs put into the trailers to show something "exciting" that happens in the film, and we'll get the other half of the story when we see it.

Or with this franchise's track-record of writing, a quarter of the story added to the already present of quarter of the story, because the other half was shredded for being too good a film. >:oP

Started out a bit boring. Then that thing with Bee happened...

I wish they didn't show that. I should stop watching all the Transformers trailers for each movie and spoiling all the cool stuff. That's why Age of Extinction was so boring to me is because it was mostly a VERY extended version of all the trailers combined.

Speaking of KSI, I'm still shocked that the Autobots basically forgave Stanly Tucci and his company for being responsible for the execution of Ratchet and half of their forces on Earth and then profiteering off their dissected corpses.

Ha! See! I know this! Just watched the movie last night in full finally. Problem is, it was boring as heck. Now I know why I never finished it before.

I loved the reference back to stealth force with Bee shooting Barricade. He like half transformed and it was pretty cool!

Also, yeah we may be tired of Bee, but I really think I'm going to love him in the movie. WWII body, back to his wings, Waspinator/Mark 42 tricks, and a hammer. So few transformers get a hammer and I love it. I do really love it

What in the Hell did Bee just do?!?!
He pulled a Waspinator.

This one wins

He also has the doors form his breastplate.

I am pretty sure it is the side of the truck mode, between the hood area and the front wheels/fenders the forms the chest for Prime. That little silver piece on the chest gives it away, along with his Transformation in AoE for the first time in new body form.

Yeah with that stuff as well as him taking a more back seat role in AOE (Compared to Prime and Hound the latter who was pretty much the Bumblebee for that movie) I'm starting to tolerate him more and him and Prime are starting to climb up my favorites ranks compared to before where I never really cared either way for them because they were generic main characters.

Really? Bee had a reduced role in that film especially with Sam not being in it.

The whole first half of the final battle was just Hound with Bumblebee not being in it that much so really Hound was more important and he did more interaction with humans then Bee did.

I just watched the film last week so all of this is fresh in my mind.

I said responsible. Stanly Tucci wanted transformium, creating demand for transformers corpses. Stanly Tucci also promised Cemetery Wind's director (forgot his name) financial kickbacks in return for transformers corpses. I also highly doubt the company would have been able to complete their research and product development using live transformers (how do you harvest transformium from a live robot?).

KSI might not have pulled the trigger, but Stanly Tucci was bankrolling the killings and is very guilty.

But you said he was responsible for executing them which is false all he did was have people melt bodies that were brought to him down and was going to make a profit.

The Autobots know he's a jerk but he isn't a monster and heck they have had ex Decepticons among their ranks (Jetfire, Wheelie, possibly Brains and Drift) and they have a bunch of rather aggressive people (Ironhide, Sideswipe, Wrecekrs, AOE Autobots) so really they can't complain without being hypocritical.

There's not much to be angry about since Joshua helped them in the end and helped Cade's family get a new home at some point.
