Bumblebee's new head is awesome . His Camaro mode is sweet too, but his robot mode looks a bit chessy with random placements of yellow.

I normaly skip repaints, but I'm getting that BB.
Plus since it's a retool, I feel almost justified in doing so.
I'm skipping the Savage repaint though.

Salvage....I think the paint job looks a bit better than Dropkick's, though I liked the Decepticon logo on the latter. If I didn't have Dropkick, I would get this one, but I don't need 2 of this mould.
Stealth Bumblebee....the new head may make him worth it, but I'm not a big fan of the paint job, especially in vehicle mode. A black car with a few random yellow stripes? Eh, that's stretching it, and he is indeed painted rather than having black plastic, then I think he might look a bit worse in person.
Still, I was possibly going to get a Cliffjumper, so I might pass on him to get this BB, just for the head. Tough call....

Hasbro's gonna kep belting these out cause they're cheap and easy, but that does not mean you have to buy it!
Get the bots you want, scope the rest off either lot auctions or super reduced clearance!

As for Bumblebee, might like it more if it was the 74’ mold, we’ve gotten way to many 08’ BBs but I’ll probably get it anyway.

I know...I know....you speak true, but in my romantic idealistic way, I fondly remember the days when a repaint of a character was the exception rather than the norm, and even then it was cool since it comprised, say, a whole team of seekers. I know it makes great business sense, it's expensive to make a prototype, etc, etc., but oh how I wax poetic of the days when a whole combiner team would be separate designs for each piece rather than reused limbs. I remember when back in the day, you would buy a figure and be getting a truly unique character with his own design and specs, rather than twice repainted character or a "night version" of an existing character....etc., etc.
*sigh*
I just can't imagine all but the most diehard collectors with deep pockets and walls upon walls of open shelf space are going to actively look for these. I just can't help but feel a pretty good line is becoming watered down and tiresome with all these minor tweaks of existing figures.

Doesn't that make the Concept Camaro BB a yellow car with a few random black stripes?

Yes, but a yellow car with black stripes looks infinitely better than a black car with yellow stripes, IMO.
I can't think of a time I've ever seen the latter; probably because it would look very tacky.

Its a nice turn on his general color scheme, not unlik how the Armada recolors frequntly inverted color schemes. A nice effect over all.
Salvage is hurt by the fact that few salage crews drive pimped out pick ups on their jobs...even it its Painted to look older.
