S250 has posted some new images of the blue motorcycle Transformers from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toyline. The figure is likely one of the three "Arcee" motorbikes that will appear in the film (one blue, one pink, one purple). Details on whether or not the bikes merge together, are all the same character, or are individual characters with individual bot modes are unclear at this time - though stills from this past sunday's Superbowl TV spot reveal a decepticon being chased by three robots with a similar build.

The head looks like a nice step in the right direction compared to the previous Arcee.

Looks like part of a combiner.

I certainly hope it's part of a combiner for the toy's sake. As far as the film goes, I'm kinda worried this means everyone will be combining with everyone else in some insane finale.

It is part of a combiner. It combines with two other motorcycles. Together, all three of them form the robot known as... Arcee.

Ooh "The return of BeastMachines Thrust" Down to the arm cannon.

I can see Kitbash potential there.

Seems weird though. The head seems to be a little small considering there's supposed to be 2 more bikes incorporated into that for the final robot mode.

Speaking of which why haven't we seen pictures of the other 2 bikes yet?

beautiful bike mode tho

i'd say all 3 have weaker bot modes like this then combine to form arcee in some insane way

plus i hope there all sold packed together as this "uncombined" form isn't much to look at :(

And the theme of this movie is.....wheeled feet. I know its a combiner but you know this is going to happen. One or both of the other parts is going to get destroyed and then we have BM Thrust. Head looks good. Actually looks like some thing youd expect to see on a TF.

Given what we've seen in the trailer, I assumed that each of the three bikes would have an individual robot mode AND combine into Arcee.

The fact that this fella has a head in proportion to its size would indicate that it is designed - at the very least - to have its own robot mode.

But it looks so bad - the oversized gun arm, the wheel leg... I'm sure that's mistranformed.

Holy crap! That robot mode looks like... well... crap!! The bike mode is sweet looking though.

I kinda get the impression that the whole "one wheel as legs" thing was the "in thing" in Hollywood this year... What 2 legs not good enough for ya? :-P

I hope at least one of the three bikes has actual legs in robot mode - and I hope it's the pink one, it's the coolest of the three bikes.

I'm starting to think the pink bike might be Arcee, will the other two are different characters... at least that's what I hope.

So if these three bikes each have a robot mode and then combine, could we say that Chromia, Moonracer, and Firestar combine to form Arcee? (hypothetical names, not official)

That's what I was thinking. Sideswipe had wheel feet to. Megatron has treads all over his legs, he might do some rolling. All this plus that monster constructicon.

What's going on here? What's up with these unicycle bots? Are bi-pedals not good enough to be robots in 2009? That has to be incorrectly transformed. The original is waaay better than this besides the new face, but still? I don't know if I can take this seriously, it's like the goofy transformations of the Go-Bots I'm seeing here.

And naturally anything new is evil.

Good grief, they've decided to try a little something different; they're allowed...after all it is THEIR property, not ours. Personally I think this is a very interesting direction: it's more an emphasis on speed and agility rather than brute power. Even a giant bot mode with motorized treads can move faster than one on two feet. Let's see how things go before we all condemn them forever. Just because it's not on two feet doesn't mean it's evil...allow them their creative inspiration.

The headsculpt looks good, the bikemode looks good, but 3 bikes combining into 1 robot just defies all that TF stands for. It's plain and simple, robot picks an alternate mode of the same mass he can't break himself into pieces. If they can then bring back Bonecrusher.

I don't recall a Gobot with a unicycle robot mode... are you sure you aren't thinking of Giszmoduck? :???:

First-Aid wrote:Even a giant bot mode with motorized treads can move faster than one on two feet.

I don't know about that... I think that would depend a lot on the length of the stride and the mechanisms powering the respective moving parts.

I don't mind 1/3 of the character having a less than stellar bot mode, and BM Thrust was cool... however, I don't find the idea of unicycle botmode very realistic.

The power consumed to remain upright would make it inefficient but I could forgive that because a bipedal design isn't much better in that regard.

But that gun! How is she supposed to fire that gun balanced on one wheel?!

I guess maybe if it's a laser it wouldn't be a problem... :-?

That's what I'm thinking. Arcee plus the other two bots combine into someone bigger.

As far as this blue bike, NICE! Very BM Thrust, I likes.

I kinda like it. I think that Bay embraced the fact that the TFs are, at their core alien. While their alt modes are "Earthling friendly," some 'bots are holding onto their Cybertronian roots. Being machines, having alternate forms of locomotion could sometimes be an advantage, depending on what their original function was. Just a thought... :-B

Hmm... I gotta say that the robot mode does seem to be correctly transformed (judging by the screen caps from the trailer) and it looks like arse. Granted, the fabled combined mode may redeem it - but this remains to be seen.

So far there are about 2 unicycleformers too many. Should make for nice display pieces in bot mode, though...especially when you're using that gun as a kickstand.

Blegh. I'd like to know why they abandoned the original movie design of Arcee. It was far more acceptable than this, combiner or not.

I think Michael Bay gets a twisted satisfaction from changing fan-favorite characters.

I'm all for artistic license, but this is ridiculous. If they are going to use established, well-known characters, then I believe they should retain at least a few identifying features in the designs of the robots.

I couldn't help but notice the three color schemes of the bikes; blue, mint green, and hot pink. Could it be possible that we are looking at Chromia (blue), Moonracer (mint green), and
Elita-1 (hot pink)? Those were their colors in the G1 cartoon series. :-?

One thing all the toys from the first movie had in common was that they could all stand upright, unaided. This was thanks to either the toys having big feet, or they had 'spurs' on the back of the feet for balance.

Now, given that the toys from the first movie (and modern TFs in general) make such a big deal about the ability to stand upright, it seems a little odd that we're starting to get unicycle-formers.

Sure, they look cool on screen, but didn't Bay and his team design the bots in conjunction with Hasbro?

It looks to me like the oversized gun is there just to act as a kickstand. Hopefully the Constructicon we've seen will also have some kind of stabiliser.

But I still say that toy is mistransformed. I accept it may well be a unicycle-bot, but the handlebar groin? I'm not convinced.

Oh my... Another unicycle bot. Seriously what's going on? :? This one surely looks like he's not a fembot so how is he supposed to combine with others into fembot Arcee?? I had nothing against Bay's ideas because this is completly new universe but If he screws one of my favourite characters I'm gonna be really pissed off. Arcee's design from the first movie was just fantastic. I hope that she's the pink one... :|

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the unicycle trend we're seeing here (Arcee, Constructicon) for ROTF. What I'm hoping is that Bay is using this only as a means for the TFs to attack while moving at a high rate of speed. i.e. - the clip shows the Constructicon laying out some massive damage with it's unicycle. In looking at the screen cap with Arcee - maybe she's firing at the Audi while in pursuit?

I'm holding full judgement until more info comes out.

The Movie line was dissapointing for me and I did not "collect them all" as I used to once do. If this Arcee is any indication then they did not learn, at least for my tastes.

Although the line sold great as I understand it I likely will only be interested in a few of ROTF figs if this line follows in the design footsteps of TF:1.

I am fine with a unicylce design for bot mode, but I really don't like the "combiner" idea with Arcee. Arcee was not a combiner, why make her into one? It just seems silly. I like the idea of the Elita 1, Moonracer, and Chromia team. That would make more sense.

No legs ??? They have gotta be kidding....For the first movie toy, Arcee was just plain ugly, this time around they improved the head and torso but left off her legs. The best Arcee is the target exclusive and her orange Alita One counterpart...

I still think we need to give it time. THere may be an additional mechanism to allow it to stand alone. And it may be mistransformed- which I think has been mentioned here before.

This line seems to be going places that no other toy line has done. It's going to be very interesting to see how things work.
