I like him for waht he is, yes. Given how he was shown in the film, I think they did their best effort and he`s a fun action figure. I like fiddling with him and his alt mode is gorgeous! Probably one of the best truck alt modes ever done. And his back pack is much tighter than msot shellformers, so kuddos to them.

Love these legends. Bought on sight! Not a fan of new hound though... A more screen accurate figure sure, but not a pretty one.

What are those things on the front of Legion Megatron's shins? They're hinged bot don't seem to do anything. There's nothing like them on the larger figures so I wonder what they could be?

Also Drift looks like he'll be impossible to stand on those tiny feet.

That deluxe Drift looks really good to me so far. I love samurais, and the red with the awesomely-sculpted gold face just looks .

Hound looks pretty dope as well. I think it's really cool that his helmet actually removes!

So yeah, MPM barricade Confirmed. I will wait to see how it differs from the HA one before I spend $100 CDN on it.

So, the new legions figures look really good! dang about wave 2 being only a month away. not much turnover time there.

legion Drift and Crosshairs are definite buys to go with Legion Megatron. Now I'm not sure about getting the deluxe Barricade, with a Masterpiece one coming. May depend on how he looks when revealed.

Lucky Draw voyager Prime is just regular release with a black wash? I can do that nicer.

Maybe if the Barricade figures looked even remotely like that artwork, it would be a figure worth owning.....

It's more how the figure actually comes out. I like Barricade as a character in all of his designs, so if this one kills it, I'll go for it

Hey guys, I just noticed something. This new deluxe Drift shares robot mode parts from AoE Drift with the exception of the torso and AMAZING head, but vehicle mode is actually reversed. The back of the old one is the front of the new one. See the hinges for the shoulder armor?





Makes sense since that one was supposed to have the car front as the chest, whereas this one can't do that because of the design, so they decided to reverse the alt mode a la TR Scourge/Highbrow. Except this impresses me more because it's real world cars!

Quite the creative change, never got my hands on the AoE version so I would have never noticed.

Everytime I see that bugatti I immediately think of blurr. Really wonder what the process was in choosing drift as it would've made more sense and probably added more character to such a misfit crew if it were blurr.

Speaking of characters in different scales apparently bee is getting a voyager. Bumblebee prime is looking very likely.

The car was not black period the car is a deep blue

Is that a new headsculpt on TLK Drift? The chin area looks different. I didn't notice the big difference in the car modes til now and why it ends up changing the transformation slightly. I do wonder if the backpack can be raised on the new figure to match the old. If nothing else the backpack works great for holding the unused swords and looks cool doing it.

And who the heck put those little swords on AoE Drift in that last photo?

Huh, never noticed Megatron was Overlording it up by taking a huge section of his jet and plonking it on his arm. Cool.

That jet mode looks pretty sweet. Is TLK Optimus a straight repaint of AoE Leader Prime?

Wind Designs??? :O That's actually in my frickin' town! Used to work in a factory right near it and pop in there at lunch times and bought a couple DotM Transformers. @ Deadput, in light of this, your argument about black vs dark blue looks like arguing for the sake of it. Which is exactly what you wanted to avoid. Just go back and read what you quoted. If what you want to say has nothing to do with it, then dont quote it and you wont enter unecesarry arguments. Remember that for next time please.

I called Wind Designs and asked if I could order and pick up Transformers from there even though they're a retailer stockist kind of company rather than a shop themselves and the people I spoke to were very cool and said they can order in cases of Transformers since they'll be getting in a lot of TLK stuff to ship out to retailers obviously cos that's the big thing and for me to email them the SKU code (relating to the class of figure TLK voyager in this case) and character name (Optimus Prime rather than Grimlock whom I already have the AoE version of that mold) and they'll email me when they've got it for me and I can cycle down there and pick it up. That'll save me £6.40 of busfare (especially helpful since the price increase on these TF toys) and three hours of uncomfortable bus rides it would take me to get to Toys R Us or other toy shops and back again to even look if those shops had what I want in stock (I can't drive so have to use busses despite my anxiety issues which make that often a stressful experience).

Via the Facebook page for Ozformers, we now have confirmation of the Transformers: The Last Knight toys also arriving in Australia! The two images below show the Titan Changers Bumblebee and Optimus Prime, and the whole of wave 1 Voyagers and Deluxes too - check it out, along with some commentary on the sighting!

As always, if you come across any new (or old) toys near you, make sure to flag them up in the Sightings Database and Forums, to help out fellow collectors and fans - with only four days left for the official street date for these, all we have left to say is: happy hunting!

The Movie toys are now officially here, and the first ones have just been found today at some Kmarts in Sydney... just 3 days before the official release date (expect most stores to hold onto them until Monday).
So far found are the Titan Changers Optimus and Bumblebee (which leaked to a Toyworld store in February by mistake), but expect the full onslaught of wave 1 Deluxe, Voyager, Legions, Knight Armor Turbo Changers, 1-step Turbo Changers, the Tiny Turbo Changers... and maybe some others.

Once again via Weibo, we have a look at what may or may not be packaging art - but art nonetheless - featuring Optimus Prime and Megatron in battle, with the hive pattern behind them as a blue planet takes over the background. We don't want to speculate too much, but we are still waiting to find out more about a certain Cybertron Planet listing we saw a long while back.

About time we had a movie Megatron pull the classic arm cannon pose!

That arm cannon kibble chunk is massive, hope it's removable in the very likely scenario that the figures qc is sh|t and the pins aren't tight enough to hold up the arm (like a certain black shadow figure I was so looking forward to)

Pretty sure its removeable. his arm is not attached to the nosecone in alt mode.

They're close enough to the cockpit kibble to have me worried the best figure in the line is going to have problems I can't fix

Why the hell can I not just simply say that a character had blue armor and not black and leave it at that without joining the debate they were having about Blurr.

I did not want to talk about Blurr I wanted to correct Sabr saying that Drift's armor was black when it was not.

Like how is this so difficult for me to explain?

It is, and it looks almost as glorious as the AoE voyager's head sculpt. I LOVE IT WITH A PASSION.

And yeah, I really hope you're not forced to have his backpack like a dumb cape like with Barricade.
