Yes. Bloody HasTak haven't released any seekers in ages. If only Generations included the two unreleased coneheads...

Wow. Those guys look great. I am guessing that they are going to be going for about $200 per? I don't know if I willing to spend that money on them or not though, since I have 2 MP seekers already. It is tempting though...

From previous information on earlier molds of this, they are smaller, around the size of a Voyager class TF.

And, did y'all forget about the MP Ghost Starscream that just came out a month or two ago? This mold is still kicking for anyone who really wants them.

Amazing, I hope they arnt silly expensive as I think they look great and despite my initial hesitation about these semi knock offs I would quite like them.

My only wish is that the clear stands that hold the jets would allow the jet to be angled so that you could see more of the top when on display.

As far as I know, Generations will have Dirge, they have already released Thrust, and Ramjet was released under the classics line.

Knock off...

Who's there?

Stolen toy design...

Stolen toy design who?

Aren't you excited to pay mad cash for an inferior quality product of an already fragile figure?

This thing does look amazing, though. Hope Takara puts them out someday...

You should really buy a figure made by them before judging quality cause the quality on Faith leader was very good (which imo was more of a knock-off than these). Also, these aren't complete knock-offs cause the mold is not identical to the original; they clearly made many alterations to it, although they are cutting it close...

Likewise...I'm pretty sure you haven't gotten one of the KO seekers to this point. But the quality on Faith Leader (which I agree is a blatant KO) was spotty on its own and that was based on a very solidly built figure...the most durable MP figure in fact. The MP seekers, on the other hand, are pretty fragile figures from the start. Good luck having these guys match the quality of the real ones.

hell, I think HAS TAK should LET 3rd party companies make the products. All it really does is raise interest in the toy line itself. I love most 3rd party add-ons and figures. Hell, I have a friend whom has spent THOUSANDS with HAS TAK since he picked up a FP City Commander kit. Got him back into collecting.
Cant wait to see the other coneheads. This Ramjet mold looks good.

Nobody has because they haven't been released yet... Therefore your point is not valid...

I'm going by their previous products. Faith leader is very good in quality, far from "spotty." I own all of the real MP seekers (Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker) and I have been waiting for an official release of the coneheads which has yet to happen. If this company is giving me what I want and what hastak has yet deliver then I welcome it. It is after all why everyone clamors for products by Fansprojects. While they did copy the mold, they at least made enough alterations to the original to differentiate it from the official products. These are basically unofficial repaints/re-sculpts; at least that's how I see it.

Go read the reviews for it at TFW...it is spotty. Yes, the paint job is wonderful and it looks fantastic, but A LOT of people had issues with theirs and are avoiding transforming it.

Now, decent quality or not, is it not fair to say Fraud Leader isn't as high of quality and durable as MP Prime? Are the MP seekers not somewhat fragile figures in their own right? Would that not tend to suggest the KO seekers will be a step below the originals? Go ahead and feel however you want about the thing, but the point is valid...

I don't need to read reviews because I own the damn thing. My faith leader is very good... Not as good as MP Prime (duh), but good for what it is and that is a display figure that is in a better scale than the original. Despite it's smaller size, it is still a knock-off, however can't them same be said of Justitoys' WST Line?

The reason why your point is not valid is cause you said and I quote:

Kibble wrote:Would that not tend to suggest the KO seekers will be a step below the originals?

A point made based on an assumption is never a valid point (Debating 101). For all you know Igear could dramatically increase their quality. THAT is why your point is not valid.

You also stated this:

Kibble wrote:Likewise...I'm pretty sure you haven't gotten one of the KO seekers to this point.

No kidding I haven't gotten it, nobody has it yet not even you, so how can you judge it without even owning it. I at least own Faith Leader while you are going by other people's opinions. Once again, if you don't have the means to formulate your own opinion (IE: By actually owning the figure) then refrain from stating said opinion. I have good experience with the faith leader, while you have none for yourself and are merely going by the opinions of others.

Also, let's say that Faith Leader's quality is "spotty." You're forgetting that Faith Leader is SCALED DOWN from the MP Prime Mold, while these are pretty much one for one copies of the originals with minor changes here or there. If Faith Leader's quality was "spotty," then it would most like be attributed to the fact that he is essentially a scaled version of the original and would have almost nothing to do with being a 3rd party product. Heck they deserve credit for being able to scale down such a large figure so much with such a success even if the quality is "spotty."

Yes it's a knock-off, I know that, you know that, and so does anyone else who's experienced enough in this hobby to know that the official products are made by Hasbro and Takaratomy. If people decide to buy this, then it's their decision not yours. If and when hasbro/takara decide to release official conehead seekers, then I will definitely buy them, but for now this is all we have.

I must say however that I will be waiting for a video review on them before deciding whether or not to purchase them, and it also depends entirely on the price. I am however still very interested.

So because you got lucky no one else need worry and QC is great?

Never said it couldn't and I don't recall defending Justitoys...
A point made based on an assumption is never a valid point (Debating 101). For all you know Igear could dramatically increase their quality. THAT is why your point is not valid.

So why are you arguing that the quality is likely to be fine? You're making an assumption, too!
No kidding I haven't gotten it, nobody has it yet not even you, so how can you judge it without even owning it. I at least own Faith Leader while you are going by other people's opinions.

Apparently that doesn't matter. What does Fraud Leader have to do with this mold? You already said assumptions are worthless so assuming it will be as good as your Fraud Leader is pointless, no?
Also, let's say that Faith Leader's quality is "spotty." You're forgetting that Faith Leader is SCALED DOWN from the MP Prime Mold, while these are pretty much one for one copies of the originals with minor changes here or there.

And you're apparently forgetting the MP seekers are fragile figures to start with. The next KO company to improve on the quality of what they're copying will be the first.

I don't recall telling anyone they couldn't buy it...

BTW, if you want to respond, please include what was SOOOOOO unreasonable about my statement that set you off in the first place:
Kibble wrote:Aren't you excited to pay mad cash for an inferior quality product of an already fragile figure?

It's likly going to cost about $100 or more.
It's highly unlikely to be as good or better quality than Takara's seekers.
Takara's MP seekers aren't the most durable figures to begin with.

Doesn't seem to be such an unreasonable statement to me...

Watch the video review by Peaugh here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y67gcS5ATBI&feature=player_embedded I didn't get lucky, the quality has been stated as good by many people...
Never said it couldn't and I don't recall defending Justitoys...

Nobody said you defended anything, it was an example... I don't see you attacking justitoys for doing the same damn thing...
So why are you arguing that the quality is likely to be fine? You're making an assumption, too!

You quote me where I made such an assumption. I said that for all you know the quality could be better. It was a rebuttal not an assumption. What are you slow?

Apparently that doesn't matter. What does Fraud Leader have to do with this mold? You already said assumptions are worthless so assuming it will be as good as your Fraud Leader is pointless, no?

"Fraud Leader" as you so adamantly call it, is only being used as an example of the quality that this company produces. Much like how people often reference City Commander for the quality that Fansproject produces. It's relative in the fact that it is an example we can go by in order to gauge what kind of quality to expect. How you can't see this god only knows...
And you're apparently forgetting the MP seekers are fragile figures to start with. The next KO company to improve on the quality of what they're copying will be the first.

Absolutely incorrect. I have seen plenty of knock-offs that were in fact higher quality than the original. Although rare, it has happened.

I don't recall telling anyone they couldn't buy it...

So you didn't post this...
Aren't you excited to pay mad cash for an inferior quality product of an already fragile figure?

That's your sarcastic way of telling people not to buy it...
BTW, if you want to respond, please include what was SOOOOOO unreasonable about my statement that set you off in the first place:

The whole thing... The snarky way you wrote it. You can state your opinion, but don't act like there was nobody else in this thread that was aware that this is a knock-off as I'm sure everyone does.

Kibble wrote:It's likly going to cost about $100 or more.

I agree with this. It may be an expensive figure judging by their other prices. I actually hope Hasbro/Takara releases these figure so I can get those instead. Like I said, I will wait on the verdict to decide if I buy these or not. Until then it's w/e.

Sorry, I didn't realize the No Fun Police was on patrol...I'll try to behave more to your liking next time. I'll also try to avoid forcing people not to buy things because I don't find them awesome or have doubts about them. But I gotta go now and start a random, untimely topic about my disapproval of WST and force people not to buy those, too. ...Wait! Dammit… I'm not suppose to forcibly prevent people from buying stuff I have no control over anyhow... Ugh! I'll get it eventually… ;)

I really want the upcoming Thrust figure, the thing that really has me on the fence about these as well as getting a Faith Leader is fears about the quality of the toys. I know that they are not going to be as well made as the Hasbro/Takara toys, but I still would like the to be in good shape. Also while I intend to mainly display them in their robot forms, I don't want them to break apart when/if I decide to transform them.
also I already have the original Masterpiece Optimus Prime and the only reason I want the Faith Leader Optimus is so that I can have a Prime that is closer in scale with the other Voyager and Leader Class Transformers that I currently have. Are these toys worth while investments?
