The figure you're about to see goes by several names. To the common person, it's Device Label Broadcast or Broadblast, Device Label's controversial cancelled and now released USB Hub. To us Transformers fans, it's an interesting and 21st Century look at a popular Generation One Character - Blaster. Thanks to
Happinet Online and
Ngee Khiong, we get a handful of images featuring Broadcast. The figure is set for release in May. Check it out below!
If you reside in North America, you can pre-order Broadcast through site sponsor
BigBadToyStore.

I'd be uber psyched up for this figure if it weren't so stinking expensive.

the figure looks great and I already have mine pre-ordered... but these are not new pics... they're the same ones we saw at least six months ago before it was canceled and then uncanceled

I have went to my pre-order page at BBTS to cancel this a couple of times, but I just can"t bring myself to cancel, it looks so good and I want it so bad!
I finally decided that I want this more than I wanted the RotF G1 remakes (Brawn, Bludgeon, Seaspray, Dirge) and Lockdown, justifying keeping this pr-order.
I love my ML Soundwave and DL Ravage, so I had to have Blaster too. Plus he was one of my favorite G1 toys.

I think I'm only buying him for an adversary to ML Soundwave. He needs a rifle, for one. For two, I wish they'd just release these figures without the out of date electronics.
Does anyone know if G1 Blaster had 5mm fist holes? It looks like DL Blaster does, can anyone confirm?
Also, this should be right about the same height as ML Soundwave, right?

wasn't this product cancelled? i guess that's the reason why they had plans of cancelling it. price went to the roof. plus japan was in recession...

Perfect adversary for Soundwave. But if it's being released domestically as Ravage and co. will be, then I hope they announce it soon so I can cancel my preorder in time ...
Finally Blaster will be in a proper scale to be placed with the Autobots.

Cool robot mode, corny transformation. No collector is actually gonna use it for his computer, and no computer lover is actually gonna display him in robot mode. They might as well create a line of working kitchen-bots for our kitchens...

It's probably just me, but the fact that Broadcast f.k.a. Blaster has cassette player "kibble" in his bot mode (cassette-bot storage in his chest), but actually transforms into a laptops that ACTUALLY a USB hub is, to me at least, kind of confusing.

He's walking sex.
and hey!
If you're one of those late game adopters of the PS3 and only have a meager 2 USB ports, you can hook Blaster up to your PS3 to facilitate playing Beatles Rock Band complete with 3 part harmonies!
