This Megatron has ALOT of potential. It just seems though, the more I see it, the less Hasbro is looking to exploit it?
It's a problem that seems to be running rampant throughout this line, so I save my money for vintage and Classics.

I initaly wanted this figure, but I have to say it's wearing off.

but, i put my money on bumblebee TF animated toy... imho, bumblebee characterization and it's related toy design along the line-up of TF till now, most of them looks great.

i have a sneaky feeling that earth megs is going to be a very popular megs toy with many, he supposed to be a leader figure so could be pretty huge.

Darkclyde wrote:not to shabby... but i most interested in is how tall the toy will be. In the TF animated, megatron is really a big badass decepticon boss (all the decepticons are really bigger than the autobots). If the toy can hold it true to the form factor of the TF animated's character, i guess it worth the shot.

It's 17.5cm tall. Bigger than Bulkhead and deluxe Prime, Prowl Bumblebee.
Bumblebee looks to be one of the best designs on the line, though judging by some pics, the plastic and paint quality may not be up to scratch on that figure.

I actually like the alt mode, but I kinda agree with ya...
I'm diggin' the Classics, but I'm as excited for the Animated figures.

Well he'll probably have a better alt mode, so if the bot mode is up to par, everything's in place for a truly awesome Megatron figure.
For once.

With the recent batch of prototype pics, a lot of people've been taking potshots at animated. Grey proto's usually look better than the production toys anyway, so it remains to be seen, IMO.
But yeah, definately as excited for both here too.

I've gotten alot of TFs, though and between this and the recolored Classics Megs, I dunno if I can afford both. Or if I'll even get either ... not that I don't love this fig, but I already have MP Megs, so do I need more Megatrons than that? I dost not know.

And I think I'm still going to wait for his earth mode before I buy this one.
