Sure, they're partformers, but considering the limited, blocky shape the designers have to work with, these are pretty solid vehicle and combiner modes for Kre-O figures.

When it comes to combiners, I don't mind the combiner pieces being separate pieces. Sure does beat the integrating of them (just look at the mess Fall of Cybertron Bruticus is).

Now I pose a question to all of you. Would you buy Kreo created gestalts that are not in the fiction so that the line could continue?

One more to add to my list...

We've got a few more combiners that they could do still ... Monstructor, Liokaiser, Roadcaesar, Landcross, G2 variants, Landfill, Railracer. It'd be fun to see them try Magnaboss and Tripredacus as well!

If they were completely original, and had the potential to appear in future lines, all the while retaining their combining gimmick, I sure would. I probably wouldn't buy them, but I'd give support.

Liokaiser, plz.
In fact, gimme a Classics/Generations update of Liokaiser and his components. That would make my day.

I'm a touch disappointed in that the Combiners have purely focused on the G1 gestalts, and even then only the ones in the US cartoon (Well, Abominus is technically based on the Prime one, but it's still really close to the original), and that the Waves have gotten smaller and smaller, seemingly underscoring just how minimalistic they're being.
At the very least they could throw in a few G2 repaints, or any of Ruination's various decos. But they could also go with the other takes on Devastator (Movieverse, Kre-O, even Animated), or of course any of the many other Combiner teams out there. I'd be especially interested in Rail Racer and Tripredacus, though I'm not sure how they'd make 3-bot combiners into 4-bot ones. I suppose they could just add/retcon in a 4th guy; Taratulas would be a fitting addition to Tripredacus.

Well they could, but then they'd be a felony

Bounti76 wrote:While I don't really care for the Kre-O line at all, I am curious....how do only four robots combine into the gestalt? Does one of them form the body AND an arm or leg? It just seems like you'd need all five components to make them: two legs, two arms and a body.
They don't really transform between modes, you disassemble and reassemble them. The combiners are made with help from the extra parts of all 4 bots. 2 kreon bodies make the main torso, the other two make the shins, the kreon legs make the fingers and toes, and the rest is kibble. It's pretty neat actually.

Menasor looks to use fewer teeny-tiny parts, but that might just be wishful thinking. Devastator had the smallest little parts to remove and connect from the kreons, and was super hard to not lose them.
