The Transformers Collector's Club just updated their homepage with a new image of the fifth reveal of their Subscription Service 3.0 which is Serpent O.R., a Repaint of the Takara Ratbat mold that should appeal to both Transformers and G.I Joe fans alike! Tell us what you think of this figure in our Seibertron.com fourms here, and keep your optics tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest in news and updates, plus the best galleries around!

The Transformers Collectors' Club Figure Subscription Service (TFSS) for version 3.0 is at the half way point, and we only have two reveals left! A very interesting figure that has appeal to fans of both Transformers and G.I. Joe, this character is a mix of the greatest military minds from throughout human history meshed with Cybertronian technology - Serpent O.R.! As a reminder, the order period will be open through October 2nd, 2014.

The service is available to anyone who is a member of the Transformers Collectors’ Club. The cost of this additional service is $297 (plus shipping). You can pay all at once or in 3 installments. The 6 toys that make up the TFSS 3.0 are: KROK, NACELLE, TARANTULAS, CARZAP, SERPENT O.R. and G2 STARSCREAM. Real quick aside, I adore everything about the senator Rattobatto figure, I think it is the single best use of the neo-classics scourge mold. One of my favorite takara figures this side of Telemocha Waspy.

and maybe the deathcobra guy from Shattered Glass though i could be wrong as looking at his picture is torso is similar to that of animated wreck gar

While I think the snake face on his torso is cool, I don't really care much for this character. G.I. Joe never interested me. I'm still waffling on getting the subscription service for the 2, maybe 3 characters I want, and selling the rest.

The Transformers Collectors' Club today gives us a new look at the final Transformers Collectors' Club Subscription Service 3.0 figure G2 Starscream. He is a straight G2 repaint of the Classics Starscream mold. The sign up period for the TFSS 3.0 runs through October 2.

Heh. He makes me think of those old school apple head carvings where they look like old people making a sour face. LOL.

I've warmed up to that more expressive style ala Wildman over the years, but given my choice I'll usually take a more robotic take on characters.

Kinda maks me wanna sign up, just fo Krok. I couldn't really care less for Screamer, as even though I have te original 3 seekers in tha mold, I kinda hate it. But Serpentor is also a neat addition.

Yah that Galvatron face is pretty terrible. The toy's robot mode face kind of sort of looks like that but not any where as bad as that artwork shows it to be.

It's not my fault the Club used Universe Galvatron for the Wings Universe version of him.

I get the feeling that it was like a request by Hasbro to use the designs for the then-current toys of the time for the characters in the comic, hence why Cyclonus uses his own Universe toy's design as well.

I would have loved a comic for TFSS 2.0. Been wanting to know what happened with Chromedome, Rewind and Threadshot plus Barricade and Ironfist.

Yeah I know thats the one I was talking about when I mentioned wanting to know what happened to them. This 3.0 is 22 pages long, I wanted one that told the "rest of the story".

Yeah, I hope any and all of the digital comics get released in Diamond Editions.

I also have enjoyed the fiction. It would be really cool to see it collected in some comic-style printings with new cover, inset drawings (any that were in the PDFs) and some consistent, professional text treatment. (PDFs have been fun, but a bit all over the map)

Maybe a collection of Shattered Glass fiction, a collection of Wings, etc. ???

I don't expect to see that any time soon, though. I can dream, though.

Free comic book day in September? As promised yesterday, Transformers Timelines issue 9: A Common Foe is now up and the whole 22 page comic is free for your reading pleasure. The issue features characters from the TFSS 3.0 and takes place directly after the events of Timelines issue 8: Termination. You can read the PDF issue here.
