Anyways. I already have 2 Ravages and a Laserbeak... But I really want Eject and Rewind. WHy TT! Why not Slugfest and Overkill instead of Ravage and Laserbeak?

And I'm quite surprised with that move, using Legends figures for the Mini-Bots. Wait, that means Bumblebee has two entries in the Henkei line! What are the odds?
And now for those who want a small laugh, the Japanese names of some of the Mini-Bots:
Bumblebee = Bumble
Brawn = Gong
Cosmos = Adams
The rest is unchanged.

Will they be henkeis or encores?

Encore, I assume, because it was said that these are reissues.
Pass, only because I was able to pick up the TRU reissue Soundwave released during Classics 1.0 (which had Laserbeak and Ravage).
As for the minibots... Might pick up Cosmos if I see it, but with my interest in Legends in general being what it is, it'd be better to pass on the Henkei set.

While I understand some people may be hesitant about Ravage and Laserbeak...come on folks, the dino cassettes? Let's get Rumble, Frenzy, Buzzsaw and Ratbat back out there first.
Posted by shockwave13 on December 17th, 2008 @ 1:59pm CST
I have Eject and Ramhorn.
I got Ravage and Rumble. I could use a Frenzy, Ratbat, Slugfest, Overkill. I threw these 4 out at some point in time, dunno why.
Don't want Squawkbox or Slamdance, got those already.
Even the rare cassettes would be nice.

I like the cassette reissues. Even more motivation to get that Encore Soundwave.

Eject and Rewind sound promising.

I am curious where the name "Adams" came from. Was there a rocket called Adams?

Adams may come from Adamski, a name used by UFO fans for a certain type or shape of UFO. Lemme check Teletraan...
...yep, George Adamski.
These packs are fantastic. I can't wait.

Only one thing though, why Laserbeak in the set? They should include Ratbat. Laserbeak is already included with the re-issue of Soundwave.

Not with Encore Soundwave.DMSL wrote:COOL!

Maybe not with Encore Soundwave, but Laserbeak was with Classics Soundwave (which was technically a repaint of Soundblaster, which in turn was a slight retool of Soundwave). This is the one I mentioned before, as being why I'd pass on the cassettes. I wouldn't mind the Autobot tapes (especially if I can still find a Transformers Collection 21 Broadcast), but I don't want to double up on Laserbeak and Ravage.
GetterDragun wrote:Seriously...where's Rumble and Frenzy
I'd like to know, too. I honestly want those two more than Laserbeak and Ravage. (Though I'm gonna pick up Hound & the new mold Ravage when I see them...)

*starts to hope they will come with a second tape-box with Steeljaw and Ramhorn*

The henkei minibots look good but i'll take the universe versions instead.

Just pointing out why a Japanese company would be releasing a figure that recently got released in America. But yeah, more Frenzy, Rumble and Ramhorn please.ShGarland_1383 wrote:Diem wrote:Not with Encore Soundwave.DMSL wrote:COOL!

First off, Eject and Rewind should have been made available with either Blaster or Twincast long back.
Second, packing in Laserbeak and Ravage is really, really, really stupid. It's just...honestly? It's the kind of move I would expect Hasbro to do in a Star Wars line.
Frenzy, Rumble, Ramhorn, etc...Get on the ball Tomy.

Good point. Still should have been Rumble & Frenzy though, IMO. Maybe with a second set like this? I can survive without Ratbat, though. If the Springer/Ratbat set at Target can hold out 2 or 3 weeks (when I have money again), I wouldn't mind grabbing it.
