Seibertron brings us a gallery of another figure from the same Worlds Collide 4 pack, Nemesis Primal! This deco seems to be inspired by several "evil" redecos of autobot and maximal leaders. The purple is similar to Grand Scourge and Galvatron Lio Convoy. The teal however is remeniscent of the standard Scourge/Nemesis Prime colour scheme which results in something rather unique.
Seibertron captured some fantastic shots of this soon-to-be released Target exclusive, including some comparisons to his regular retail Kingdom release and the rest of his packmates. Click on any picture below to be taken to this gallery.
We also included at the very end the product code to help you find it at Target when it finally releases properly. This specific toy was found at Walmart, which is most likely a mistake as the box did not scan.

I'm starting to think I won't get my titan Scorponok until 2023 or later.

With some actually well thought-out repaints, this whole set might have convinced many fans (who really just wanted Fangry) to have bought it.

Don't know, seen just as many saying they're getting it as those saying they'll pass on it. Had I the cash
, I'd have no qualms about getting it.

It's a good set. It is obviously set up to appeal to some, and not to others. The set is literally called "WORLDS COLLIDE" meaning it's bringing in different aspects of the Transformers into one set. If I had anything to do with the set, I would have made it more bonkers.

I love Fangry. He's one of my all-time favorite Transformers characters thanks to his (unfortunately) brief, yet memorable, appearances in the Marvel Transformers comics. He's also pretty awesome in the Masterforce cartoon. Yet, because of his brief comic appearance, lack of American cartoon exposure and primary characterization coming from Japanese cartoons, he's not for everyone. I get that. He's also unique that he has a partial organic beast mode which was unusual for G1 characters (is he the only one?). I get that Fangry is not the biggest selling point. I clearly get that he's a winner for me, but not for all.

Then there's the recolor / remold of Netflix Bumblebee. So many fans want to get the elusive Netflix VW Bumblebee. Not gonna happen for whatever crazy reasons. Demand, corporate politics, supply chain, COVID-19, whatever. It was awesome Hasbro made the VW "Generations" Bumblebee finally after all these years and it's a bummer that so many fans weren't able to get their hands on that version of him. So here comes another version, in more expected colors for Bumblebee, but in Earthrise Cliffjumper's car mold. Ugh. I get it. I think it works for Bumblebee. The orangish-yellow of the Netflix VW Bumblebee I find hard to photograph, so I'll probably be using the Worlds Collide version mostly going forward. We'll see. I do love that Beetle mode on the other one though. Regardless, I get how this version of Bumblebee is divisive as well.

On to Blackarachnia. It seems a lot of folks don't know from where the inspiration for this version of our favorite femme fatale is derived. It also seems that many fans have forgotten or are unaware that Blackarachnia didn't start out as the gold and black version with the unique face plate that we all know and love from the Beast Wars cartoon. Nope, she was just an alternate colored version of Tarantulas folks. I never thought we'd see her original color scheme ever again. And now here I am wanting to see her Masterpiece toy done in her original colors with an alternate head after her Worlds Collide release. I get that this unique version of Blackarachnia isn't for everyone.

Which leaves me with Nemesis Primal. The inevitable evil "Scourge" recolor of Optimus Primal in the Beast Wars world. The black fur is not quite right, as some of you have stated, and I agree. It'd be liked Nemesis Prime being red instead of black. To be fair, the Kingdom Optimus Primal toy isn't truly black, it's like a light black (or dark gray), but it's close enough that Nemesis Primal's black fur is a little too close to set him apart. I keep thinking a gray gorilla or even a white gorilla would've worked better to have "inverted" colors to Optimus Primal. Or they should've scrapped the whole Nemesis idea and just gone for an Ultra Primal or Primal Magnus or something along those lines and done an Optimus Primal recolor in Ultra Magnus colors (or even the dreaded, to me, "Ultra Mammoth" color scheme). Either way, I get that Nemesis Primal isn't for everyone. I like him, but I'm not sure he's even right for me when I think too hard about it.

So there it is. It strikes me as a typical 4 pack of figures. There's a little something for everyone and a little something NOT for everyone. If there's something in the set that you don't like, just sell the damn figures you don't want. No one is forcing you to buy the set nor keep all of the figures in the set. It's a perfect set to flip certain figures if you don't want some. Regardless, it's been a few years since we've had a Generations styled multi-pack like this (I think those Titans Return sets were the last ones), and those were pretty damn cool and go for silly money now.
You win some, you lose some. I'm just happy that we are getting such crazy things that we are getting sets like this currently. Sure beats the days of seeing just one or two pegs of new Transformers Beast Wars figures at Toys R Us circa 1997 and only getting about 25 to 30 new figures per year. We are extremely spoiled currently!

Same style as what? As Worlds Collide Fangry (aka Titans Return Fangry)? No, the others were done as Titan Masters but not as regular Transformers figures unfortunately.

As it is, it's a jack of all trades and master of none.
I'm not going to waste my money buying all of these figures just to get one. I shouldn't have to and I shouldn't have to go through the hassle of trying to sell the others and throw away the box (which is important for me).
An EXTREMELY easy pass for me and I'll be getting the inevitable single re-release of Fangry when it comes out.

I meant organic Beast parts of their original G1 toys
You do you Primalxconvoy, I think all those that buy this will be happy with their purchases

For those not familiar, Hubcap was a G1 figure released in 1986 as a simple retool of the Cliffjumper mold, with a new head and no spoiler. To add to the confusion, Cliffjumper had also previously been released in a yellow version. Bug Bite was a retooled version of G1 Bumblebee with a cartoon accurate head, released in 2004 in a set with other recolored G1 minibots in a set intended to represent the Transformers' biggest competition in the 80s, the Gobots! Bug Bite would also receive another toy at Botcon 2007. Long story short, Bug Bite, Hubcap, and Bumblebee have long shared a toy history, and now do so again in these latest galleries. You can click on any picture below to be taken to that figure's specific gallery.

Netflix Series Bumblebee (187 images) - Deluxe Class

For those looking for any of these toys, Hubcap can be ordered via Seibertron's own store, Bug Bite is still available at a handful of online retailers, and the Worlds Collide four-pack should be released in U.S. Target stores sometime in the next couple of weeks. Netflix Bumblebee, however, was a Walmart exclusive, and seems to be the only way we'll be getting Bumblebee in his VW Beetle mode. That Wave 2 of Netflix figures has been gone from stores for some time, and seems unlikely to be reissued any time soon, if at all. For those of you who plan on tracking down the Worlds Collide pack the UPC code is 5010993854783, and the DPCI code (Target's internal stock code) is 087-16-8265. Happy Hunting!

He's also unique that he has a partial organic beast mode which was unusual for G1 characters (is he the only one?).
Double cross also has a partial organic beast mode with his furry arms. He's the first transformer to ever have organic features.

I just thought of another group with semi-organic beast modes: the Firecons Flamefeather, Cindersaur and Sparkstalker.

Sure, even Pretenders could qualify by this, especially the ones with transforming shells.

When the Beast Wars cartoon debuted in 1996, no one really knew what to expect. As the season went on, however, many were drawn in by the story and strong characterization, especially for the two characters in Seibertron's newest galleries: Predacon Leader Megatron, and Maximal protoform turned complex Predacon Blackarachnia.
While attempts have been made over the years to make more show-accurate models, this is probably the closest we've gotten, at this price point, to toys that look like they've stepped off the screen, some coloring issues aside. Both Megatron and Blackarachnia showed up in Wave 1 of Kingdom and have been among the most popular figures in the line, not staying on store shelves for long.
Now you can feast your optics on this incredible set of galleries, taken by the man himself, Seibertron. Each of the high quality galleries gives us a thorough look at the these figures, with plenty of comparison shots to relevant figures.
Check them out by clicking on any individual picture, and let us know what you think of these figures below!

Agreed. Definitely a great time to be a Beast Wars fan. Here's hoping that a new Masterpiece Beast Wars toy is announced soon!

I look at all four of these and find each of them charming in their own ways.Seibertron wrote:I find it humorous that when the Legends Blackarachnia came out, I thought it was incredible and a great representation of her. That image in particular makes me think a lot. I bought a MP Blackarachnia, and really enjoyed it and thought it was worth it. I also won a free one, and sold the one I bought, essentially ending up with a free BA. Then the Kingdom one came out and honestly owns it far more than the MP, much better bang for the buck for me. So I sort of regret owning the MP despite winning it and not spending anything on it as a net result.
