Here is a treat for you Cyberverse fans out there. Seibertron.com has added new galleries of Windrazor, Rippersnapper, Blight and the combined form of Abominus.

As if you needed a new reason to revisit the galleries of Hun-Gurr and Twinstrike, they have been updated to include group shots of their fellow "Terrorcon" Predacons as well as comparison shots with their G1 incarnations.

Abominus is the second Cyberverse/Legion class combiner following Revenge of the Fallen Devastator. The galleries are waiting for you to explore below.

How tall does Abominus look compared to his Deluxe and Voyager class Predacon brethren (i.e. - Lazerback, Ripclaw, Grimwing, etc.)?

You'll have to use your imagination but here are some other comparison pics from the gallery ...

well, the legends devastor is about deluxe size (a bit squat, but still the right size) so i'd imagine he's slightly shorter than a deluxe

Now you can see that the G1 combiners were mostly the Leader with shoes and short arms.
I do whish they had a bigger head, don't mind a loose one.

Great galleries as usual!

Can't wait to get the giftset on this guy.

And dare I say, Shockwave and Screamer are next?

Ooooh, I can't wait to get the rest of the Terrorcons. So far I only have Twinstrike. I'm amazed by how much these guys mach and improve their G1 counterparts.

With the exception of Hun-Grrr. I agree with the other people who say he should've been a commander class. Still grabbing him though.

Nice pics as always. I take it cutthroat and sinnertwin cant be reversed as legs for a proper G1 look ? I would love to see a fan mode without the big hands and maybe a 3rd party add on set to make him look more serious.

Oh my god. I NEED this. TO LIVE.

I never realized that g1 hun-grr was so huge. I haven't had an opportunity to compare them in years. He is wildly out of proportion. Even though I wish BH Hun-grr was commander class and purple I really like these.

I don't believe they can. There's a special connector tab for the legs pieces and a different tab system for the arms. You could swap an arm for an arm or a leg for a leg, but not a leg for an arm.

If I'm mistaken, please let me know so that I can provide pictures of Abominus with his limbs in the G1 positions.

They are on the gallery menu for this week. I'm going to work on cropping their photos today and hopefully working on some other new galleries in a couple of hours.

Messing around with mine, I couldn't find a way to Scramble City the limbs either. Not a big deal though, I'm not crazy about the combined mode on this guy and will probably keep him unassembled since I like the look of the team.

I agree with your thoughts about the individual members, ScottyP. Seems like that's been the trend on combiners for the past decade anyways. I think it's been since RID and Beast Wars since we've had decent looking combiners.

Windrazor is awesome for a Legion Class figure. They crammed a lot into that little guy.

Excellent pics! I really like how surprisingly posable he is. And as ridiculous as some people think his combined mode is, i feel it works really well with these guys. I wouldn't want Abominus to be trim, neat and tidy. There's gotta be some ugly in there. With that being said. I think Hasbro did a great job on the colour scheme and paint apps as well. Much better colours than the Target box set. IMO

I'm only missing RipperSnapper and Hun-Grrr for the set. Hun-Grrr is very hard to find. But i'll be stoked when the set is done.

I'm with the group here on this one that Hun-Gurr should've been at least a Commander Class figure if only to give Abominous a body more proportional to the rest of him. At current, Abominous looks like he's more limbs than torso. But I digress and I will still buy him with the rest of the Terrorcons. That is, if I can find Hun-Gurr to begin with. I can't believe there's only two of him to a case of 12, leaving Bumblebees, Airachnias, and Soundwaves to warm the pegs. Who am I kidding? Of course I can believe this is how Hun-Gurr is packaged. It is Hasbro I'm talking about here. Hasbro finally makes a Combiner that FANS are excited about and they make it damn near impossible to find the main figure that binds them altogether. That'll be my luck with these figures. When the other three hit the stores, I'll find and buy them but I'll still be without a Hun-Gurr. That'll bite.

Wouldn't it be great if Hasbro and Takara actually LISTENED to its fans and produced more combiners, only bigger, perhaps at least Deluxe size. Oh wait, sorry. I must've dozed off and had the most wonderful dream.

Hell, it only took them 30 years to get the Triple-Changers right (which I picked up my Springer and Blitzwing today at my local Wal-Mart Super Center). And like most fans, I want a do-over with Astrotrain and Octane so that they're Voyager Class too.

I managed to get a decent leg mode out of Twinstrike. I don't know how well the others will work when switched around since he and Hun-Gurrr are the only ones I have

From what I've heard you can switch them around, but the connection for the legs to be used as arms is tenuous at best.

And by tenuous, I mean "the arm just hangs there not really connected to anything".

Peaugh managed to make an Abominus from one Hun-Gurrr and four Twinstrikes.

As you can see in Peaugh's video around the 8 minute mark is that Blight and Rippersnapper don't have a way to connect as arms unfortunately.

The G1 toy, was based on a good design, these have all the flaws of a G1 design translated into a toy, such as poor proportions etc. People always slate G1 for design, but that was becuase they couldn't acheive the original concept, now they can an the don't have a decent concept to start with. Am I the only person who hates these.

A few days back, we posted an article pertaining to some of our newest, extensive galleries, involving the Beast Hunters Cyberverse Legion Class Terrorcons. Image

These little beasts have caught the attention of many, but remained out of reach...

Well, now they can be yours!

Hasbro Toy Shop has posted links to the three yet to be retail released Terrorcons:

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Windrazor

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Rippersnapper

and

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Blight

Who combine with

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Hun-Gurrr

and

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Twinstrike

to form

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Abominus

And you can find the figures at the following links:
Blight

Rippersnapper

Windrazor

Hun-Grr (currently sold out, keep checking back, they tend to restock when you least expect it.)

Twinstrike

Easy to transform, affordable and it's Abominus! Will you be buying? Can't wait to get them? Check out the galleries, feel free to join the discussion and give us your thoughts and comments.

Thanks for the heads up! I ordered two of each Terrorcon (even with a different faction symbol they'll always be Terrorcons to me) and Skystalker, since I haven't seen any of them at retail. Even though they may be a touch cheaper at retail stores, free shipping means I won't spend as much in gas driving around looking for them. Plus, I can make Abominus now!

IMHO WindRazor would have made a good alternative as the central figure, allowing Abominus to have wings (possibly by having WindRazor in beast form) and having a different means to connect to the sides.

Or possibly like G1 Predaking, having WindRazor's wings detach to clip onto the bck of Hungarr.

Or, now that I think of it, if you used WindRazor's beast form as the center of Abominus, and had his arms/wings back as wings, his bird-head would be Abominus's head, you could even maybe shift the entire gestault forward and down to form a huge gestaualt-drgon tye form

In the States maybes, but I'm in Aurora Ontario Canada... most of our stores haven't even gotten wave 2 yet. Usually our Walmart and Target here in town run about 2 to 3 months behind the U.S. stores.

So I'm hoping to still have a chance. Be over there today (Doctor's appt, and his office is like 8 minute walk away from Target).

If I'm lucky enough to get one, I'll be sure to try my idea and post if/how it turns out... unless someone else here gives it a go first.

Target is getting the Abominus gift pack, and my guess is that it'll be the easiest way to actual collect this set, cause... yeah, I'm 100% in agreement with your statements.

The figures sold out on Hasbro Toy Shop ALREADY. What was that? Less than 10 hours after the news was reported on here? I have to be awake in the middle of the night on the off chance that Hasbro Toy Shop will carry 5 copies of a Rippersnapper, so I can buy one?!? :BANG_HEAD:

Can someone at Hasbro PLEASE explain the distribution situation with their TF toys? It's unbelievable that in an age of retail homogeneity, looking for the latest TF toys is a bigger gamble than a rigged roulette table in a back alley. :BANG_HEAD: With the ever rising price of gas, it's become an unsustainable LOCAL hobby. I'd really rather see the figures in an actual brick and mortar, but more and more, I'm seeing online shops (like Hasbro Toy Shops) as the only viable way to get FAN-POPULAR figures.

Is there a particular corporate impediment that keeps Hasbro from applying the sales data from its own online shop to the projected sales of TF's across all retail in the country? Surely, this kind of "SOLD OUT INSTANTLY!" phenomenon would encourage them to make assortments with better figures people actually want to buy? Surely? :BANG_HEAD:

It's been on Hasbotoyshop since 2PM yesterday.

My understanding is HTS is not actually ran by Hasbro, it is just another retailer that has to order products from Hasbro like anyone else. Also I'm sure they'll put more stock up.

I am in agreement on the poor distribution of this line of toys for the last 2 years, the marquee figures are hard to find yet Bumble Bee on every shelf in every store. Mattel does the same crap with their Monster High line that I get for my daughter they post them for sale at random times through the day with no notice, so you wait when it says coming soon that day, check multiple times through and on the final check they are sold out, yet you never see an option to actually purchase. Pisses me off like nothing else when a 25 or 10 dollar toy is scalped at 3, or even 5 times the prices and the company actually supports this bs. Thats whats worse by allowing bulk purchase knowing people are waiting, limiting it to 10 then someone buys 10, and on and on, keeping you from getting just one. End rant.

I can understand that. Altogether, I paid a touch over $50 for the (7) figures, which qualified me for free shipping. I haven't seen any Cyberverse figure go for less than $5.99 in nearly a year, and most places have the BH Deluxes for 13-15 dollars, so I figure I got the best retail prices I'm likely to see. Besides, since it shipped free, I'll save all the gas I'd have used driving around looking for them, so it's really win-win.
