We recently brought you galleries for the Warrior class counterparts of these figures, but for comparison, other than the images already present in those, check out below Seibertron.com's latest additions to the Transformers: Robots In Disguise photo bank, with 3-Step Blizzard Strike Drift, Thunderhoof, and Night Ops Bumblebee!

Simpler version in the line, in both articulation and transformation, these figures literally do what they say in the title, and change in three steps, though are also known under the Hyperchange Heroes monicker. In addition, Bumblebee is the inevitable black redeco of a previous figure, found here.

And just because one (of several) Thunderhoof isn't enough, also included in the update is Takara Tomy Transformers Adventure TED-12 Thunderhoof, the Japanese counterpart to the Hasbro One-Step. Check out the comparisons, poses, pics and more by clicking on any of the images below!

3-Step Thunderhoof's antler transformation looks waaaaaay better than the rest of the bunch.

Because Hasbro didn't paint them the comparison shots on Thunderhoof are useful for pointing out the black hooves on the 3-step Changer and the Warrior Class you'd otherwise maybe not notice when they are not picked out with paint as is the case with the Legion and the 1-Step most people would have been more likely to have seen or handled up to this point.

Continuing our Robots in Disguise galleries, we now present some of the most anticipated figures of the entire line: Warrior Class Megatronus and Fracture. While both had two toys from other classes previously out (which you can see in the images below), all fans were waiting for these more traditional releases. These two start off the year almost as a statement that Hasbro is aware of the lack of Decepticons in the line and aims to rectify that. These two figures are a good example to show that there are still toys which can interest collectors in a line made predominantly for younger fans. Let us know what you think of these and if you have had a chance to pick them up yet, or if you now plan to!

I was hoping to get Fracture with a $50+ order on HTS for the free shipping, but with Vortex not showing up and with that me getting the limbs elsewhere, I may have to wait until hopefully onslaught shows up and he, Crosscut, Huffer, Pipes and Fracture can go together :BOT:

Today's update in the ever-growing Seibertron.com galleries brings us back to Transformers: Robots in Disguise and the new incarnation of the Minicons - entirely different from those of old, and using both old and new names! In this particular gallery feature, we see the first wave of Mini-Cons Slipstream, Divebomb, Sawback, & Dragonus, two Autobots and two Decepticons, intended to be used with Deployer figures Drift and Fracture.

Slipstream and Divebomb are directly from the show, in their vaguely humanoid robot forms, while wolf-like Sawback and unsurprisingly dragon-esque Dragonus are expansions to the Deployer figures. In addition, each Mini-Con pack comes with coloured clear plastic armour pieces, applicable to a variety of figures outside of the one the come with, and can combine with other pieces for an entirely new teeny tiny robo-creature. Check it all out by clicking on any of the images below!

I'm undecided about them even after spending last week photographing all of them except for the ones that come in the Battle Packs. One improvement would have been to have had Mini-Con ports for the sake of legacy, some needed more paint apps, some just needed some consistency (i.e. Sawback can't stand in his disc alt mode when he has the accessories attached, whereas the rest look like spaceships or other types of armored assault vehicles), and some just needed their factions flipped (i.e. Beastbox who had no business being an Autobot, especially with Ratbat in the same wave). The "ball" shaped ones were oddly more appealing to me, moreso than the others, and I'm assuming that's because they remind me of the Microchange Meteor guys who became the Beast Wars Eggs and were also later used in the KISS Players line.

I cannot say anything yet as I do not own any of the minicons, but they don't look bad, and the armor is a neat touch. And they appear to work for what they were aimed at. I would however, prefer minicons like those triple changers we got during Thrilling 30 though :BOT:

DMax, you rang? And yes, I do love these little guys. I think they are fun and "cheap" pick ups. I started with just trying to get the show versions and it quickly escalated.

I'm not a purist for the most part and I'm starting to match up some of the odd ones with other figures as lil tag along toadies. For example: the Scorch Strike Beastbox is chilling with Gen Wreck Gar, they match up quite nicely. Sandsting is with a bunch of random insecticons.

I also find the rolly polly ones to be the most fun. Backtrack has all of my love right now :x his energon weapons really make the figure.

I did ring, knew you'd come. The little ball guys do look like lots of fun, mainly since they can move themselves, even if articulation is lacking. They're adorable! :BOT:

A Kmart near my home is closing, so all their toys were 20% off. I got for my son 2 Decepticon mini-cons he did not already have -Dragonus(the last of the first wave) and Sandsting from the newer assortment. -I had no idea about this:

Image

My son was totally excited (especially now that Dad's advice about "keeping all the little parts where you can find them" has paid off) ;)

My only question is---this appears to be an intentional design, not a fan build. How would one come to know this existed if it were not in any instructions anywhere? I would think, somewhat like the Marvel "build-a-figure" action figures, this would have added incentive to collect them all. It was just chance (well really my sons desire to have them all), that we got them.

The only official venue I remember hearing about the armor piece lion and shark was from some previous con or toy show.

I've built both the lion and shark; no way it's by mistake. Seems like a waste of a "gotta catch 'em all" marketing strategy on Hasbro's part.

It would have been pretty cool if they could have employed a more generic/universal connector system to encourage more creative play.

As it stands I Have the two energon beasties built, some of the armor/weapons pegged in and the rest in a tin.

Wave 1 and 2. I wanna say wave 1 builds the lion and wave 2 builds the shark.

These exra figures are really cool and bring a whole new layer to the idea of Transformers toys (the build a figure aspect) and I find it extremely well done. I love how everything fits perfectly together.

And yes, this was fully intentional and planed out (and well executed). While this was not in the instructions, it was stated in the Hasbro Panels at conventions. The people who got these early figured out these configurations based on the official announcements and the message has spread across the itnernet. I still find it sad that many kids out there would loveto know of this but since they dont know where to look or dont go onlie are not aware of this possibility.

I have been a fan since the very beginning, but have been out of the toy collecting aspect for a full decade. So I pass this torch to my son, who has basically collected random figures from various different lines up until now. I think he's found his niche with the RiD15 mini cons and Deployers (He has Drift & Fracture, but I wont be getting him any repaints, cause you know, Dad is mean like that) ;) . But I give total credit to all you fine folks on this website for revealing the Lion & Shark Builds. As you say, my son would have had no way of knowing otherwise.

Seibertron has a new gallery for you today: Transformers Robots in Disguise Deployer Overload with Mini-Con Backtrack

This new Deployer figure can fire the new minicons which turn into balls, called cyclones. This should come as good news to those who already bought these new minicons, through the four pack for instance, and seeking extra playability.

This is also the very first toy release of the new character, Overload, who will be introduced in season two of Robots in Disguise. With the recent New York Toy Fair reveals, it appears this will be the only toy class to have this character, at least for the near future. This Deployer pack should be available at retail very soon.

Have you been buying the Deployer figures? If not, would this figure be your first? Let us know!

Well... lo and behold, K-Mart actually got some new toys in (odd since the sore is closing), my son got Beastbox, Ratbat, & Velocirazor all for $3.80 a piece + tax. So his collection is complete for the first two waves.

As for any new deployers... I'll await and see. He has plenty to keep him occupied for now. We'll see what cool gimmick (if any) they come up with. Also...Is there going to be a 4th deployer(Autobot) to counter Overload?

I'm stoked for those con warriors to start showing up at retail. I've seen the TRU Megatronus, but I'm holding out for the normal release.

On the fence about Overload. As you know I want his lil friend, but I'd rather a warrior version and I have that minicon mold already.

Them round ones are fun.

I do have the ninja version yes. Love that guy! But I like how Fracture integrates better, especially the fact that Prowl's legs get a bit funky while Fracture's are nicely done. Just the way Prowl folds up in bike mode is the one thing that pushes Fracture ahead. :BOT:

Yup and nope. I just like that shade of teal and I really like the Backtrack mold.

I'll just have to hold out for a good sale.

Same for the Drift deployer.

Crazybolt is a BOS though.

^ If you have any K-Marts in your area, that are closing down. It did wonders for us.

For thunderhoof, I may wait for takara, I'm not sure. it's more for the alt mode than the robot mode. And do you have Animated prowl? I think he really gives Fracture a run for his money in terms of bike former.

I do have the ninja version yes. Love that guy! But I like how Fracture integrates better, especially the fact that Prowl's legs get a bit funky while Fracture's are nicely done. Just the way Prowl folds up in bike mode is the one thing that pushes Fracture ahead. :BOT:

Remember to mention time when I write about them in a list.

You got it Boss.

I also think Fracture does a better job hiding his parts than Prime Arcee, He just integrates better and the front of the bike on the back looks much better on him and folds up better :BOT:

There are no KMarts in canada. The only retail outlets we have for these toys is Walmart and Toysrus.

No pics because I'm not aware of the feature. Can you let me know what I'm missing?

It's this piece that covers his face to let him better resemble the illusionary Decepticon that Micronus Prime had Optimus battle against in the Realm of the Primes in episode 13 "Out of Focus":

Hot on the heels of the Overload deployer gallery Seibertron is proud to bring you our latest gallery entry: Blizzard Strike Drift and Jetstorm!

These 2 characters are repaints of their regular show paint schemes in the blizzard themed blues and whites with some clear icy plastic. Some images are mirrored below for your enjoyment.

What do you think of all the new paint schemes? Like the blizzard theme going on recently? Let us know in the comments section and stay tuned for even more Seiberton galleries to come!
