Our Transformers Go! galleries continue, as we proudly present Go! Kenzan Kuromusha Version and Gekisoumaru Kurojishi Version!

Gekisoumaru and Kenzan are the latest to step in front of the camera, but these two are the black repaint versions.

Clarification of the purpose of these remolds courtesy of fellow Seibertronian Sabrblade:
Sabrblade wrote:These represent toy-only powered-up forms of the two, after having been enhanced by the powers of the Black Legendisc.

Kenzan was a TRU Japan exclusive repaint of Kenzan, and you can see the original here and Gekisoumaru is a Nemesis repaint of the original mold, which you can also see here.

These aren't Nemesis versions. They're still good guys. These represent toy-only powered-up forms of the two, after having been enhanced by the powers of the Black Legendisc.

Seibertron.com is proud to present another set of galleries as part of our gigantic database, and today's offering sees one the most sought-after molds of the Transformers: Prime series, only available under the Japanese Arms Micron monicker: Decepticon muscle and hammer - Breakdown. But wait, not only do we bring you the basic iteration of the mold in War Breakdown, also included are the retooled, eerily sinister Silas Breakdown, complete with redeco and added Silas torso within the robot, and the Autobot repaint with a new head mold Swerve!

Not to be missed, of course, are the smaller partners that give the name to the line, the Microns. War Breakdown comes with the rhino-hammer Zamu, while Silas Breakdown features mantis-like Magi, and bulked-up Swerve finds a companion in spinning blade saw Sou. Check all of them out by clicking on any of the images below!

Funny thing about the name "War Breakdown", the Japanese dub actually had that as Breakdown's proper name, with everyone calling him "War Breakdown" instead of just "Breakdown" in that version.

Similarly, Knock Out was likewise renamed "Medic Knock Out" in that version.

Congrats!

I felt bad that I didn't get these galleries up before now. I started them back in 2013 (hence why the lighting is different in shots such as the vehicle mode and then the robot mode). I'm forcing myself to work through some of the backlog of half finished galleries so that that content can be viewed instead of sitting on my computer.

Currently trying to finish up 2 of the 3 Specialist sets that came out in Asia last year before Motormaster, Blackjack, Huffer, Drift, Deluxe Optimus, Hyper Change Optimus, Legion Grimlock and Legion Sideswipe all arrive tomorrow.

So strange looking back to when Swerve was just a generic red repaint. Although this one's a bit more familiar than others have been, even if a bit too much in Prime's "Everybody's a Wrecker!" fashion...

I'm more disappointed in how those Minicons never got here rather than the Breakdown mold. HAMMERHINO!

What do you mean by the everyone is a Wrecker theme?

Sure Wheeljack was never a wrecker but even then there were only three wreckers in the show and other wreckers mentioned have been so before (besides Seaspray but hey we never saw what he was like)

Had he survived his ship's destruction, here's what he would have been like:
They were going to reveal that he actually wasn't dead, having jettisoned his ship at the last moment, and have him portrayed a lot like the character of Quint from the Jaws movie, and like Batman with a nautical whistle that would strike fear into the hearts of his enemies. A gritty, hardcore Wrecker. But alas, it never happened.

I knew they were going to bring him back and the whistle part but I never knew that he would of acted like Quint.

Quint's cool.

Hyperbole, man, hyperbole.

But what I was getting at is the traditionally quirky/fun Wheeljack, Bulkhead, and (implied) Seaspray were all reimagined as Wreckers, a subgroup that in the show existed basically just as shorthand for "badass" (relatedly, Hardshell and Dreadwing were trumped up as badasses because they killed Wreckers). This Swerve looks like he'd be just another badass Wrecker instead of anything resembling MTMTE's now-famous boisterous bartender.

... granted, given the timing of everything, I think Prime Swerve's personality would've been decided before MTMTE really caught on, but that's besides the point.

Ironicly enough this Swerve's bio says he is a geoligist and not a fighter

Bio:

Swerve tends to get lost in his own thoughts a lot. Which is pretty dangerous when he's driving through traffic. An incredibly intelligent geologist, he's vital to the Autobots' mission on Earth, scouting out energon deposits and other resources with the sensors in his arms. He tends to work alone, simply sending reports back to base as he roams the planet.
Well, mostly alone.

Swerve long ago discovered the secret of the Arms Microns, but promised the diminutive robots that he would keep their existence a secret. As such, he's always got company in the form of his own Arms Micron partner Sou.

I bought all the TF GO predacons because I love the molds, but I just cant get into these guys. They probably would have flopped in an american release. I dont know what it is about them, but they have this over-anime aesthetic like if they were designed by bandai or some other niche japanese company.

Why waste galleries on the 'titan' class figures? Though, I suppose it is illustrative to see them just so we can behold how ugly/useless they are, and avoid them at all cost....

100% waste of plastic and development that could have been spent on other figures that won't shelfwarm. Also 100% waste of server storage and bandwidth capacity to have galleries of these things.

We should have a video contest, buy any of these non-transforming "Transformers" and destroy them on video. Best voted destruction method and figure residue/aftermath video wins a real Transformer.

Seibertron.com has brought you one version of Transformers figures Ultra Magnus and Wildrider (under the name of Brake-Neck) recently - so we thought we'd go back a bit a show their Takara Tomy Arms Micron counterparts too! As the Japanese edition of the Transformers Prime line, the two figures included in the galleries below have some additional details and remolds, and the inclusion of a Micron.

AM-32 Stunt Wildrider uses the Wheeljack mold, comes with the same two swords, a whole new grey and red paintjob and new headsculpt, plus the elephant/gun Micron Ozu. AM-27 Ultra Magnus, on the other hand, is a lighter blue redeco with added micron ports of the Voyager Ultra Magnus from the Prime:RiD line, with hammer/robot Micron Ulma. The Takara Tomy Transformers Arms Micron line brought to Japan several of the toys that Hasbro released under the Prime line. It also, however, added the buildable aspect that gives the name to the line, the Microns (definitely not Minicons), some of which mirrored features of their larger counterparts. The ones featured in the latest Seibertron.com gallery, on the other hand, are part of the weapons series, using animal and humanoid modes alternated to smaller weapons and combinable ones: feast your optics below, and click on any image for the full gallery, on Microns Gabu, Baru, Dai, C.L. It's not super heavy. Most deluxes can hold it pretty decently if they can get a second hand on it to prop it up. Some older ones can hold it outright.
