Titanium 6" Soundblaster
No DECEPTICON is the subject of as much rumor and conjecture as the inscrutable SOUNDBLASTER. No matter the situation, his face is a sinister, impassive mask, betraying not even the slightest hint of emotion. If his expressionless face shows a glimmer of reaction, it is only a reflection; a trick of the light bent off his polished faceplate or depthless optic sensors.
Much is made of the power he could wield as DECEPTICON communications specialist, for every secret plan, every hidden bit of data passes through his file system. Little attention is paid, however, to his other function – interrogation. Every AUTOBOT fears capture because of the cruelty he would experience at the hands of MEGATRON, but it is under this robot's care that such cruelty is dispensed. SOUNDBLASTER goes about his awful work with detached efficiency, doling out pain the way a supply drone might hand out Energon chips. Detailed die-cast metal SOUNDBLASTER figure changes from robot to tape deck and back! Figure comes with RAVAGE figure and display base."
Titanium 6" Prowl
The most single-minded of all the AUTOBOTS, PROWL is sometimes referred to as "the commander's SHARKTICON" because of the way he seizes a problem and refuses to let it go until it is solved. He rivals even SHOCKWAVE in the fields of cryptology, logistics and strategic planning. In fact, the two of them will occasionally engage in complex shadow wars that rage just beneath the surface of an ongoing battle, logical games designed more to frustrate and confound each other than secure victory for their sides.
PROWL believes that there is a reason for all things. He struggles to understand the perspective even of his enemies, believing that if he can discern the logical underpinnings of the DECEPTICON cause, he can devise a strategy for final victory. Though he is often torn by emotions in conflict with his logic, he has difficulty understanding how others can be so ruled by feeling and instinct. He believes that all creatures behave according to some complex arithmetic, and that if he could only work it out, he could bring peace to the universe. Detailed die-cast metal PROWL figure changes from robot to vehicle and back! Figure comes with display base."

Yup, so is Skywarp, Grimlock and Primal Prime
SW and Grimlock I'm almost 100% sure they are War Within. Primal Prime is obvious. It's killing me trying to figure out what is new with Soundblaster and Prowl. I hope Prowl is War Within as opposed to his G1 counterpart.

I bet Soundblaster is just a repaint of Soundwave.

I bet you get a cookie or a cigar.
Whichever you prefer.

However, I think both sound cool, but I really hope Prowl looks good. Nothing about Prowl seems amateurish to me, except maybe comparing him to a Sharkticon. I get what they are saying, but it seems like an odd phrase.
Anyway, can't wait to see these!

Now I know Prowl is going to be a new mold, but who honestly believes that this won't lead to every Autobot car coming out in the same mold, just a different color.
I know most of the G1 cars, and Seekers were the same mold, but after 20+ years, one would hope for better.

In fact, looking at the movie toys whose names I can't remember like the phone and camera and the Classics line, I really feel 2007 is shaping up to be a great year toy wise.
Having seen other lines I loved such as Robotmasters, WSTF and Universe get cancelled, it's nice to see all these cool new lines.
Thank God the Armada, Energon, Cybertron trilogy is finished.

I for one hope Prowl is WW. If he is, that doesn't mean that Bluestreak for example would have to be the same mould as they had different alt modes in WW.

I'm not one for anything beastwars, but I really like OpOp. Scourge is also nice, bar the lack of head movement. I would recommend them to anyone.

Grimshock wrote:Even if Prowl is WW they will still repaint it. They are repaint happy 'cause we always buy 'em even if they aren't appropriate. Look at all the Magnus' without trailers. The only way to stop the excessive repaints is for us to stop buyin' 'em. But, as with everything else, we seem to love the abuse.
I really hope that it is WWithin and that we get it repainted into Blue(silver )streak, and even Smokescreen! That would rock me to no end. It does seem like a mold that could be used again and again, like Thundercracker.
Slight remolding, maybe you get Jazz, and (sigh) Ricochet (Stepper). Good news anyway!

I finally picked Up Rodimus Prime and Scourge today. Both look really good. I also like how they still refer to him as being HOt ROd on Rodimus' box.
