Seibertronian Rainmaker found several toys he had not seen on the shelves yet in Ausrtalia. One of them is MPM Barricade for $159.99S AUD and the Vission Vision Bumblebee Movie toys that have already been spotted in the US. If you find these toys in your area, or if there are other toys you wish to share with the community, you can post in our sightings forum or sighitngs section.

If I had realised those were the wave 2 battlemasters I would've taken pictures. But unfortunately I won't be there again until next week or so. I didn't bother taking pictures of the Siege toys because there were already reports of it in Australia at Toyworld and now I regret not taking them.

Edit: If I'm lucky I can be there by Sunday

This image is not my own, I got it from Discord by an Australian user called DrLockdown. I am using it show proof of the wave 2 Battlemasters until I can get my own, he bought these at a store called Hobbyco which I had not have heard of until now. Pteraxadon and Aimless lie next to Lionizer.

Thanks to the keen eye of fellow Seibetronian Prismartyr, we have new sightings for several Bumblebee-series figures. Found at a Big W in Erina, New South Wales in Australia, the figures found include Energon Igniters Power Series Ratchet and Nitro Series Blitzwing and Dropkick, though Dropkick was not photographed.

Astute readers will recall the memorable discovery of Ratchet prior to a reveal from Hasbro late last year in the US, so it appears the figure is finally seeing better distribution among foreign markets.

As always, be sure to be neighborly and report your sightings of any of these figures in your location’s sightings forum and be sure to stay tuned to Seibertron.com for more Transformers news and reviews.

Hobby Link Japan.

Even with the 10% GST and postage they'll probably work out cheaper than the eBay sellers.

Thanks to the hard work of the Ozformers Facebook group, we've learned that the exclusive Golden Lagoon Sets that Takara Tomy produced have made it to Australian shores via the Mr Toys Toy World stores. They currently only operate in one area of the country but Ozformers point out they could trickle to other Toyworld locations. Check out the sighting image which we've mirrored below for your convenience.

Image

The two Golden Lagoon Sets are all redecos of previously released figures. With one set containing Perceptor, Seaspray and Beachcomber, and the other containing Starscream (a redeco of Ghost Starscream released as part of Unite Warriors Grand Galvatron). They were priced at Aus$129 and Aus$80 respectively.

Will any of our Australian members be chasing down these toys? Would anyone be interested in a golden Starscream limb for a combiner? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

Finally! It's about Goddamned time we got word of Shadow Panther's arrival after Toys R Us died (RIP) I Just went to the Rothwell Toyworld here in Brisbane. They didn't have The Golden Lagoon Sets or Shadow Panther but they said The City, Chermside , Indooropily and a few other places I didn't catch did. Starscream seems sold out everywhere but They have The Golden Lagoon 3 Pack and Shadow Panther. I'll ask at the Indooropily and Chermside stores if they plan on Restocking Starscream as soon as I can.

As for me I'm 100% going for all of them.

Has anyone spotted Siege Voyager Optimus and Megatron at major retailers yet? (Kmart, BigW, Target...) every store I’ve been too or called have not had wave 1 stock of anything (this is in Victoria). Really frustrating how they’ve skipped a wave? Is that normal? I’m not quite sure how distribution really works.

Just a heads up, Toys 'R' Us is looking to relaunch (via a license with Hobby Warehouse) as an online outlet with the intention to hopefully one day re-open physical stores.

http://www.toysrus.com.au/

At this stage it's set to go live on the 12th June.

There is a lot going on in Australia as far as Transformers sightings go. For starters, it is the first place to get the Cyberverse Spark Armour Ark Power Optimus Prime. It is exclusive to Big W stores.

You can see it in this image below along with other cool toys now at mass retail in Australia, like the Siege wave 2 deluxes and Studio Series wave 6 deluxes.

Plus, Big W got the MPM stock from Toysrus, so you can get MPM Barricade and Bumblebee there. And on thursday, they are on sale. You can see more info on the sale below.

Speaking of Toysrus, the online store has been bought and reopened under a new owner, but the only Transformers stock is leftover from 2-3 years ago. You can still visit it here. We hope it will be the destination for current toys going forward but there is no word on that being the case with Transformers yet.

Australia also got the wave 3 Siege deluxes (the Reflector wave) AND Battlemasters at Toyworld, a collectable store.

Lastly, Studio Series voyager Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime and Rampage were found at Target, this is the first sighting of new voyagers in the Studio Series line since the year began.

All of this info was found on the Ozformers Facebook page.

Just in from Ozformers on Facebook we have word that the new Transformers Studio Series figures, Longhaul and KSI Boss, have been spotted at a local Toy World in Canberra! Whether you're nearby or not these new bots can't be far from showing up at your local brick and mortar stores.

From Ozformers:
"After two waves of Studio Series Voyagers were found in Australia during June (wave 3 Ironhide and wave 6 Rampage & Optimus), a third wave of Voyagers were apparently found at a Toyworld in Canberra in the final days of last month - wave 7 TF2 Long Haul (new) and TF4 KSI Boss (redeco Nitro Zeus). If these are now out here, it would be another world first for the month.
If you see these ones as well in the next week, let us know, as it is nice to see new toys here, and before the rest of the world.

This is a TakaraTomyMall exclusive in Japan (which would also be released in Asia), of two separately packed toys in Gen1 style packaging. One is a reissue of the 1984 Optimus Prime toy (cab only) which was called Convoy in Japan, while the other is a very minor redeco of the 2019 Studio Series Voyager Optimus Prime from the Bumblebee Movie.
Release date here - January 5th 2020
Price - AU$160 (pre-order deposit of $50)"

Here's their statement on Smokescreen:

Smokescreen is the first one to show up here, so we might be end up getting whatever else EE releases in the future.

While the big Australia Toy Fair reveal was stolen from under their nose, there are lots of new sightings for anticipated toys that hopefully make up for it. These all come from the Ozformers Facebook page. There is even news of a current deal on Transformers at Myer. Monday (the 9th) is the last day of this deal.

"20% off Transformers (and most toys) at Myer this weekend - ends Monday 9th March.
Just in time for some new Earthrise and Studio Series toys, if your nearest Myer has done some re-stocking this week.

Transformers Earthrise updates for Australia.
After they started showing up in some Toyworlds and Myer stores last week, people are now seeing the Deluxe and Voyager sizes at Kmart stores around the country.
Kmart prices are the same as their Siege prices - $29 for Deluxe, $49 for Voyager.
Myer have the Deluxe, Voyager and Leader classes.
Toyworld are still the only ones so far with Micromasters and Battlemasters.
-
Also worth noting that Kmart have been getting in a new shipment of Studio Series toys as well, with the recent wave of Deluxe (Soundwave, Hotrod, Triplets, Bumblebee) and an older wave of Voyager (Long Haul, KSI Boss).
-
Some first sightings from the last week...
- Cyberverse Ultimate w4 Optimus & Shockwave (at Toyworld).
- Cyberverse Ultra w6 Clobber, Hotrod, Bumblebee (at Toyworld).
- Botbots series 5 single packs (yellow bubbles) at a Target in NSW.
- Rescue Bots Academy 4-pack for a very cheap $49 (it has $76 worth of toys) found at Kmart.
- Rescue Bots Mini Racers for $7 (six toys - Optimus, Bumblebee, Heatwave, Hoist, Whirl, Hotshot) found at Kmart."

There is a big sale coming up in Australia's Big W stores in June. The best deal is 44% off all leader class toys, in the various Transformers toy lines. Also, they include Sky Lynx in the sale, meaning he should be in stock there soon. He is meant to be a temporary exclusive where he will only be available at Big W for the first 3 months of release and then come to other retailers as well.

Here is all the info from Ozformers.

BigW mid-year TOY SALE starts soon.
Transformers toys are on page 16 of the catalogue (already on the BigW website).. with some AWESOME prices.
-
Sale starts Online Tuesday JUNE 16th.
Sale prices in-store from Thursday JUNE 18th.
-
Sale ends Wednesday JULY 15th.
-
WFC Skylynx - $119 (save $30 - normally $149)
WFC & Studio Series LEADER - $49 (save $39 - normally $88)
WFC & Studio Series VOYAGER - $35 (save $14 - normally $49)
Bumblebee Movie Energon Ignitors Nitro - $15 (new price)
-
https://www.bigw.com.au/bigw-catalogues
Skylynx is noted as a BigW exclusive, which is true for about 3 months, when it is allowed to be sold by other retailers. (Kmart & Target are NOT getting it)
The examples of the Leader & Voyager toys in the catalogue may not be the new items or waves in the stores for the sale... we will have to wait until the new stock arrives at stores in the next two weeks.
Leader class is not a regular size at BigW, so when their Toy Sale stock sells out, they might not get more in.
The Nitro toys also look to be a one-off shipment, so should stay at $15 until they sell out (they used to be $35).
Both Leader & Voyager are shown with examples of Studio Series and Generations WFC toys, so the sale price should apply to both series.
Scorponok was not scheduled for this sale, but should show up at BigW (and some other retailers) around September/October (subject to demand).

Also you say $40 AUD is $11 more than retail price, but I can't find deluxes for that price anymore here. They're either all $35 AUD or in the Cyberverse deluxe figure case, $40 AUD.

I only paid $29AU for Ironworks at K-Mart. Even their website has that size point @ $29AU and Earthrise Voyagers @ $49AU

A post from Ozformers tells us that wave 2 will come to KMart. They are still not sure about the leader class, but the rest should be there, if all goes well, in October. Below you will find an image of the Wave 2 assortment, posted by Takara.

Also, KMart will be getting the G1 Soundwave reissue, finally.

And, Generations Selects Rotorstorm, Greasepit And Hubcap are currently available for preorder from EB Games and Zing for the Australian market. Each figure is listed for $40 AUD, with a $10 AUD deposit. They will be coming out in August.

Heads up ... Scorponok will most likely not see a wide retail release, but Amazon AU currently have him up for pre-order (Sept 1 release date) for $246.25 which is probably the best deal you're going to get for him.
