More New Images of Transformers Animated Prowl and Lockdown Figures

lockdown is bigger than i thought hed be and i must say he looks great - loas of personallity in the sculpt - significantly difernt in each mode and a brand new character dont think ive been this excitd about a figure who i know othing about for a long time

Wow, Lockdown looks great!
As for Prowl, now I'm REALLY trying to work out his transformation!!!
His legs/wheels confuzle the scrap out of me!

The ultimate gimmick would be if you never got to transform him, he just used his ninja skills to transform when you weren't looking.

I do love his weapons, although the folding throwing thing reminds me more of Blade's glaives. Maybe Prowl is a logic ninja pimp vampire slayer?

Lockdown looks great. I'd like to pair him up with Cybertron Cannonball.

I'm not too keen on the Prowl fig, but that Lockdown is quite impressive. That alt mode is friggin' awesome. Depending on the rest of the line, I may really be interested in this.

You know, if Lockdown had wings, he looks like he'd be a Cyclonus-type character. Liking him more and more all the time.

Prowl's cool too; but I'll have my Paintbrushes awaitin' to give him a more G1-inspired color scheme.

And he's voiced by Lance Henriksen! Woot!

There's some really innovative design work here. I love Prowl's shurikens.

yeah even on the action shots its just on the floor - is it an accessory can prowl use it in some way? weve never seen other animated figures in package do they have similar things with em? Does the light do anything on its own or is it scenery? does it join up with anything else?

Maybe if one collects enough figures one can build a fun Earth playset.

Im probably going to get the entire collection of them for my son. (he already has all the Cyber Slammers)

TF: Animated is something that I am going to try and avoid. The cartoon looks too weird for me. And the toys are very weird as well. I'm sticking with G1 toys and stories for good now.

I actually starting to like these.

Prowl: I like it. Doesn't need to be more like G1, a perfect reinvention of the character.

Lockdown: I like him, he's got the look for a villian in a kid show, a sort of air that's not explicitly evil but not too tame ether.

I like Lockdown...except for his head. I also like prowl, but can picture a lot of Prowls with a loose waist joint.

I'm really curious at how Prowl's wheels goes to each of his knees.

I think prowls feet rotate all the way over his knees to cover his thighs in cycle mode, but that's all i can tell from a quick look.

Guess we just have to wait until someone gets him and does a review.

I'm not 100% on this line, but i like it more every time I see it.

Like all other lines, I'll have to pick and choose what I like the best.

I think i get your idea. The foot folds in and hide inside the main shell of the bike? At least the wheels are now whole and not split or cut in half.

i really hate lock down and like i said before im not gettign the toys and now im not going to watch it i hate lockdown i mean his face looks like something has bit at it and prowl well i dont like him!!!!

Lockdown look awesome, i can barely beleive a thing like that could transform. Also, Prowl look amazing!

I'm not sure on Lockdown have to wait for the toon to see if he apeals to me.

Both these figures are pure liquid Awesomesauce.

Prowl is starting to look like a deluxe to me, as I always thought he must be fairly small. From these photos he looks to be a decent size.

Prowl would be cool with a different head, LockDown is intresting, but still sits uneasy with me. The alt mode looks like Transtech ShockWave.

Reguardless though, these look very flimsy.

These pics don't really do anything for me -- I was pretty sold on these guys before, but something about these images makes me question them. It could just be because they're not displayed in any terribly dynamic or interesting poses, but yeah. Lockdown's legs look kinda iffy, too.

Both of these look good. I want them now. Although I think Lockdown looks a bit cooler, as most Decepticons usually do!

In the pic of Lockdown and Prowl, it almost looks and feels like it's a match of pirates vs ninjas XD I want 'em both.

These figures look a thousand times better than that crappy poor quality Movie line.

lockdown reminds me of "jinzo" from yu-gi-oh

That's what I was thinking. It would be nice if they are putting more effort into sizing, especially in the same class!

Those 'cogs' are part of the throwing stars, which form the hub of the wheels. The cog-parts allow the blades to fold in.
