More images of ROTF Voyager Megatron

This tank looks to have some sort of jet shape top unlike the Leader Class version. I like the colors, might pick this one up as well.

I think this proves that Megatron combines with the Fallen during the movie, Same Color scheme and some of the parts look like the Fallens.

Am I alone in thinking that it looks like Piranacon?

Not saying that's a bad thing, if you want a nongestaltic alien-looking tank-moded Piranacon for your collection.

What the heck? I'll reserve final judgement until we see a confirmed proper transformation, but it's looking too blue/green and too weird in tank mode.

Tank mode looks cool but that robot mode sucks. Scrapmetaltron doesnt work bay so get rid of him.

For a Voyager it has a good hefty look. Those images make it look bigger than it probably is but I like it. The colours work well together and there is plenty of detail without being too busy.

Can't blame Bay - he didn't write the script, he just runs around shouting "more explosions!"

The tank is either mistransformed or just wrong. The back and front treads don't line up like on the others. It's also missing mini rocket launchers or something from the back. And the robot mode - apart from the shell on his back and the lack of hands is not bad.

Galvatron? Fallatron? Megafall? ...or just simply Ugly Mofo?

You know, I understand that Transformers is nothing more than a marketing blitz for a better children's rubic's cube, but WTF?

Has Has/tak/tom given up on the audience that actually has an income it is willing to devote to a hobby?

To the readers, I'm sorry, I had to vent. It's not good to keep these things bottled up... and here, at least, 1 or 2 would agree.

Tank...UFO...thing!!! That alt-mode looks awesome and way better than his first Voyager class iced-up jet, though I sense quite a bit of shellformerism in bot-mode Megatron's large backpack. I have to say, the green tinge does seem a bit out of place.

A Megatron/Fallen combiner, now that seems a bit weird. Is there such a thing as having too many combiners mashing together in the next movie?

Not surptisingly, the movie lines and the toys connected with them continue to be controversial. For those of us who are less than thrilled with the movies and the designs of the toys (and I inclued myself in this):
Just... breath.
It's all good. These movies will bring in new fans, who will buy more toys, which will prompt Hasbro/Takara/Tomy to produce MORE toys, and give them enogh cash to feel confident enough to produce something the Old Skool (G1, RID, BEASTWARS, UNICRON TRILAGY fans will dig. Just think of the money you're saving for the next series of CLASSICS, or try to get ewxited about the prospect of what we'll be getting next year. And every now and then Just... Breath.

Yes! i don't like the leader, and this one will save me money!

I think I'll end up getting this one instead of the leader. I hope that have a voyager Jetfire too.

It's a bit of a shell-former, but I dig it overall.

The head on this one looks so much better than the Leader Class. The Leader Class looks like they stuck Animated Megatron's head on it.

I actually like this one.

Every bone in my body is screaming for me to stay away from this toy.

The first movie's one looked nice and I really liked him more than the leader version. But once I touched it, it completely sucked.

Looks like a bio-mechanical turtle.

It's a shame but very cost effective that the new legends figure is the best.

Well first of all i was looking at these pictures and I thought it was galvatron because of the new head and body.
Then i realised what his colours were ,the same as the fallen.
So obviously this is something to do with megatron and the fallen .Maybe the fallen gives his powere to megatron or maybe i'm wrong and something else happens.
OR have they kept this quiet and they are introducing unicron which means he could reformat megatron.

Megs looks better than the funky jet that we saw in the first movie which had no real design. 1% megatron and 99% kibble.. This one looks like a Megatron winner (movie anyways).

I am sure we will get 3 repaints.

1) Messed up the the Abyss megatron with blue frost!
2) Reformatted by the all-spark fragment Megatron
3) Premium "we'll just re-paint it so these suckers can buy it" Megatron

Well I seem to be in the minority here but I like Leader Megatron better...Tank mode especially looks cooler than this one...

I don't know what all the fuss over him being blue is though...I mean yeah, it's ugly but the FIRST Voyager Megatron was the same awful blue colour as well...I guess it's just a rule of thumb that the Voyager Megatrons caren't allowed to be a reasonable colour...

I didn't think I'd be saying this about a movie Megatron but this one actually looks purchase-worthy.

I like it too! Cool design, and cool color. I didn't buy any Megatrons from the first movie, so this might be my one and only Movie Megatron purchase.

Indeed. If Prime and Jetfire combine, why WOULDN'T Megatron and the Fallen? You've got a good eye for detail Figured out something most people will argue about till after they see the movie.

now this one is kool and alot better then the leader version

love the colours too, its nice to see megs something other then silver all the time

looks like a tripelchanger too, unless i missed something and now tanks can fly

but by far my favourite part is the new HEAD, that is awesome

Very good point. I suppose we'll have to wait until the packaging comes out to see if he does or not. The interesting thing here would seem to be that, if they do combine that would indicate we are going to get a leader-class Fallen to combine with the Leader Megs...but i don't remember any mention on the packing of that or of them combining. It would make sense though, especially if Jetfire is indeed one of the ancients.

people people please if ya look at it more carfuly youll realize its badly mistransformed and may very well be a triplechanger or something better...Cybertron megatron from before the war before the jet im talking transition mode, or it could be what megatron evolves into after the gad-awful new movie mode thanks to allspark powers in response to jetprime

The tank mode is not mistransformed, as others have previously posted. If you go back and look at the CG pics of Megatron's cybertron tank mode released a long while ago, you'll see that this voyager class toy is pretty much spot on.

Treads in the CG are not lined up
Tank turret is flush with the "jet like" top plates of the tank.

Just thought I'd clear that up.

Hey hey blobatron, welcome to the site.

I have to say, not bad. although, I hope this is a prototype. I don't like the color scheme. I may pick this one up, but probably not.

I have to say though, this is the first Movie Megatron I'd almost buy...if it wasn't green.

Why is it so hard for them to make a properly-colored Megatron?

Well he'd look funny standing next to all my other silver Megatrons. I only buy the G1 homages, so all the other guys are out.

I like the claw arm on this guy but that's it I guess. I'm definitely going to partake in the leader class rendition of this mighty Megs incarnation. But I can easily pass on this Movie Megabolt. I'll just use that money to find an original Megabolt for my Megs collection.

I actually don't mind this at all. Looking at the design and colour aesthetics it seems to me as if Megatron has taken The Fallen's power (as opposed to being combined with him as others have postulated). Or maybe it's through The Fallen that Megatron is revived...?

One question, what are the different size scales in the TF toys fom smallest to largest? Isn't Leader class bigger than Voyager? I always get confused on this point...
