Database29 wrote:Has anyone the packaging for FAB Megatron? Does it actually say his name? Perhaps he is Galvatron now.

Right, but Smokescreen and Ramjet were just repaints of existing molds. I think that the more apt comparison is Arcee and Wreckage... neither was in the movie or video game, but both got toys, mainly because both were planned to be in the movie, but got cut during pre-production. Not wanting to let the work on them go to waste, Hasbro produced the toys anyway.

True, but Arcee and Wreckage have something to do with the movie now, Arcee is in the movie and Wreckage is a part of the prequel, I wouldn't think they would make a Magetron new mold for a prequel. Perhaps for the future maybe if not in June. Besides, it may be just me but are that many people going to buy this FAB????

King of Terror wrote:stupid Bay! You confuse me so much! Why would you say Megatron is not in the movie but hasbro makes a toy! Maybe I am just reading to deep into it being that is the only figure of megs we have seen so far. I like it. I hope they make a larger one
Didn't Bay announce that he was going to intentionally put out false rumors? I'm sure Megatron will be in the movie.
Anyway, does anybody actually buy these FABs?

Three groups:
1. Kids under ages 10-8
2. Avid collectors
3. Customizers
Hope that helps.

Yeah - for the first film, they only made FABs for characters who were ACTUALLY IN THE FILM (or repaints thereof). We didn't get an FAB Arcee, we didn't get an FAB Wreckage.
I think if Hasbro just wanted to milk the line and put an FAB Megs out there, then they could easily have just repainted the old mold again.
The fact that it's a new mold makes me think he's in the film.
