That’s Flash Lio Convoy, a toy I wish I had myself, I think it was limited to a certain number of figures too.

You got Flash Leo Convoy. He was an excluse for when the BWII movie came out.

This and Burning Beast Convoy are supose to represent when they teamed up and did some double matrix blast attack.

Still a great figure, but watch out, he has similar arm issues to Movie Brawl.

Thankee muchly, now I can open him up and play around with him with no fears of him crumbling to dust or some such thing!

There's also a black version and an ultra rare Galvatron colour theme version.

Could you post a pick of bot mode. I never saw it and always wondered...

wow, first of all congrats on scoring that variant. he's rare, but not THAT rare (the Black one and the Lucky Draw variants are really financial black holes for us BW collectors), but an overall good figure to have in any collection.

watch out though, the transparent parts might suffer from long-term GPS if you're not careful.

That is Flash Lio Convoy. He is indeed produced in limited numbers. He was released to commemorate the release of the BW II movie.

Yeah had the chance to pick both the original and this version up about seven years ago in the Philippines for 500 pesos each (about $10) but I didn't know who he was. Now that i'm a bigger Transformer fan, I kick myself in the leg when I look at my Robot Masters version.

Let your girlfriend know she did good. Great figure, enjoy.

heh, yeah, i remember it was about 5-7 years ago when BW Neo/2 TFs were being sold at massive discounts here in our country since there was a dearth of TF sales back then (Beast Wars was never a hit in the Philippines). there were Silverbolts/Injectors/misc. deluxes being sold as buy-one/take-one, and Lio Convoys, Galvatrons, Magnabosses at Php 600-800 (that's below $20 if using the current conversion rate, much cheaper back then in dollars). darn shame i only caught the BW bug a year ago after reading TF: The Gathering.

but dude, don't kick yourself in the leg, the Robotmasters version IS the definite Lio Convoy to own. i have both the Ultra- and the RM version and the RM kicks the original's arse back to the stone age.

no shoulder tab problems, sturdier plastic and joints, oodles of guns, plus good scale with the other BW 2 figs (he's just supposed to be a deluxe-class if you watch the anime series), what more can you ask for?

although collector-wise, the Flash and Black versions really are good display pieces, and the Ultra-class one is no slouch in the display department, either. very powerful-looking TF toy if you ask me.

Good point man, I wouldn't really want a lion that huge anyway, he looks quite nice next to my Nemesis Mammoth Convoy.

I miss the days of cheap Transformers toys already.

That toy is indeed a great find.

I like what Zemper added to this. I've been thinking of shelling out for the RM version, and if it as some of the issues corrected, all the better. I like the lion mode, but the front legs on mine can't hold the weight of the figure.

When I first saw this guy(don't ask me where) I knew I wanted him (on the topic of cheap TFs) I got both him and BWII Galvatron in the 2 pack for $25 at a collectors shop, undiscounted no less.

I still have the box(which is awesome in it's own right) but these figures are to much fun to keep sealed. I went looking for another 2 pack about 4 months ago and it went for over $250

I kinda hate how in recent years people realized that they could sell ANY Transformer for a arm and a leg. But at the same time, if I sold my collection tomorrow, I could buy a nice house :-?

But, if I did that, than what would I fill the house with

Furniture?

...I just saw a Transformer: Movie bed set at Target.

I already got all that.

Sofas and tables and what not....

What I don't have anymore and I sadly realized this last night(although I think I knew for a while) is room for more bots!?!

I am completely out of space for these, so I may have to get a hurry on the house anyway!

I prefer the white/gold figure.

The Flash version seems to be quite common on eBay.
