Why not? I think the image of Soundwave going nuts on a Ratbat keytar is hilarious. With Soundwave's modulated voice, it's all about synth music.

I have also become a believer in that Jazz repaint, though. The colors make him look sleeker somehow. A new weapon would have been nice, but I'll get him anyway.

I hope it gets further head sculpt retooling to make implement light piping for the visors!

Knowing Hasbro, the light piping prob would be colored in to make it not work. Would've hoped for something like Universe Cyclonus' light piping. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

Yeah! What's up with that? Sentinel Prime has light piping, I think but his eyes are coloured over with Allspark blue paint!
Universe Cyclonus' light piping is awesome. So is Cybertron Unicron's. They both have similar horn headed head sculpts too. Also, I found it funny that some recent comic artwork for Cyclonus closely resembles Cybertron Unicron's head sculpt, especially the skeletal face.

I think the original light piping couldn't be blue so they colored its eyes blue to make it more "Autobot-like".

Really? Weird! He's nearly all blue anyways. Poor negated light piping.

Well, they kinda established Blue = Autobot and Red = Decepticons, yet they can't design light pipings that work. Either paint or kibble blocking it.

I mean, it looks great on figures when it works really well, but some of them (I'm looking at you Universe Ironhide/Ratchet) don't let any light in and then their eyes look kinda dead. In those cases I'd prefer the lightpiping replaced with the normal coloured plastic and paint apps for the eyes.

I agree on the figures whose light pipings are blocked by kibble, but there's potentially some great light piping that would've worked if Hasbro didn't paint them over.
