I wouldn't. I'd just hold them. I'm not the only one complaining. The mobage facebook page is pretty slammed with some of the exact things that I've been complaining about here the last few days. With enough people complaining, maybe they'll actually fix the medals so that they are actually worth winning and you'll be able to pull some decent cards.

Cashed all 73 in and got 4 rank 3 cards, the rest were 2's.

The only rank 4 card I got out of this "episode" was through the regular premium space bridge.

Oh and I only picked up and trans-scanned one episode Dirge. No idea where everyone else got theirs, and I certainly didn't pick up a Thrust.

I have to laugh though, I go "exploring" and get a few PVP pop ups. They must look at my top card being Dirge and think "HA! This guy should be easy". They don't see my maxed out rank 4 Megatron until it's too late.

Last episode was only worth playing at the beginning. Towards the end I would have to defeat the boss on my own or just move on. Didn't seem like anyone was willing to help out beyond putting in one attack unless they thought they could wrap up the battle. Would like if they made the game a bit more like the Ninja Royale game they have; you know where they alternate between battle and quest.

So not including the previously mentioned already used silver and gold medals, I ended the campaign with 573 silver and 1732 gold.

I'm going to start cashing them in and counting how many rare 3 cards i get, and specifically which rare 4 cards i get (if any)

And I barely got my snarl card. The nostalgic child in me is ever so happy! Gonna use those medals to level him up!

Cashed in all the silver medals and here are the results:

0 Rare 4 cards (no surprise there)

13 Rare 3 cards

Shockwave R
Shockwave A
Slipstream A
Soundwave A x2
Thundercracker R
Ultra Magnus R
Ironhide R
Bumblebee R
Skywarp R x2
Laserbeak A
Mirage A

I'll post the gold medals hopefully in the next couple days.

I just burned through about 100 silver medal cards and picked up another 4 rank 3's.

Which is awesome, 'cause you know, I already had them and all. But still ... just as many with silver as I did with gold.

Careful Burn, we already have a thread dedicated to arguing over the manliness (or lack thereof) of myself!

Besides, There is only two things my iPad doesn't do: create MS Word documents, and play Transformers: Legends. I am holding Star Wars tech in my hands, my friend.

So not including the previously mentioned already used silver and gold medals, I ended the campaign with 573 silver and 1732 gold

As said before, I finished the campaing with 572 silver medals and 1732 gold, which does not include any previously used medals during the episode.

I already cashed in the silver medals and got no rare 4 cards and 13 rare 3 cards.

I cashed in all my gold medals. Before I list what I got, I did notice that mopage made a facebook post that stated until April 15th, it was still possible to pull the episode rare 3 dirge and rare 4 thrust cards, which excited me.

Drumroll please.....

Rare 4 cards
Megatron R
Prowl A

Rare 3 cards

53 total cards, including 2 rare 3 episode dirge R

So there are the results, which were very similiar to the insecticon episode. During that I only got rare 4 thundercracker R and rare 4 arcee A with the same ratio of rare 3s to medals.

Also, I posted the amount of medals I used during the episode was about 2200 silver and 20 gold, of which I got about the same amount of rare 3 and no rare 4. Maybe the silver medals have a lower chance of getting rare 4? Or maybe the odds are the same and It took roughly 4300 medals to produce two rare 4 cards.

Any opinions?

1732 gold? nice effort.

My only level 4 came on the first day of the event. Arcee R. And it was off of silver.
I bridged my final 50 gold last night and came out with three lvl 3's all of which I had.
I would have expected you to get a few higher cards with that amount of gold. doesn't seem right. :-?

My opinino remains unchanged. The gold medals ar the highest rewards of the event (aside from your prize) and they should yield more rare card drops. In my view, it shouldn't even be close. Gold medals should drop way more 3s and 4s than silver and bronze do. Right now, they don't seem to and I fail to see the point of them.

Hi all ...upon reading what everyone got this week I figured I'd post mine for the episode I didnt really count 3s i already had campaign or otherwise but id guess it to be in the 25-35 range new 3s I got were Ultra Mag A Ironhide A Soundwave Ax3 Ep Dirge Ax3 Prime A Prowl Rx2 Prowl A Shockwave Rx2 Starscream A and then there were the 4s Metroplex R EProwl R EIronhide R from my silvers approx 1200 of em ...my approx. 400-450 gold brought nothin of note in the 3s some campaigns and a few non that I already had but my last gold netted an Ep Thrust R good haul for the eposode I think..... pushed my deck over the 6200 mark and go nicely with my max/max Grimlock Megs and maxed 4 Starscream ... Hoping the next episode is soon

Hey anyone else finding themselves getting wrecked in battles since the most recent update?

I went from about a 3 to 1 win ratio to losing 11 of 13 since the update.

Its basically useless to have a battle and extremely frustrating.

I have given this game a LOT OF SLACK but this new battle system is absolutely ridiculous and could be the last straw if they don't straighten it out pretty quickly.
Re: Mobage Teases Their Next Transformers: Legends Event "Robots in the Sky" (1479972)
Posted by joesaysso on April 17th, 2013 @ 6:57pm CDT
I don't finding myself losing more battles. Its mostly the same results for me. I do find battles more annoying to watch these days. It seems battles are more driven by a turn for turn exchange that seems to slow them down. I'm "skipping" alot more battles than I used to.

I'm still pretty frustrated with the seeming 22 point, 1700 credit cap that has been introduced in the battle. I've essentially given up on leveling weapon cards entirely as its not worth the time and effort. I battle now only to keep earning credits to level my character cards in advance of the next episode.

I foresee a time very soon where my deck is all leveled and the only time I play this game is when an episode is happening. As the game stands in its current state, there is just no good reason to keeping battling. Problem 1: It takes too long to earn battle points. Problem 2: It takes too long to earn weapon cards. Problem 3: It takes too long to level weapon cards. Problem 4: The stat increase you get from taking a weapon card from level 1 to level 10 just isn't enough to endure the first 3 problems.

I don't know what the developers are thinking here. I know the point of the game is for me to spend money on it. But none of the changes they have made recently make me want to spend money. They just make me want to stop playing.

Battles haven't gotten easier or harder for me if I use a max team.

I went back to the huffer trick, so now I'm being put with weak teams but they are all still worth 22 pts, so i'm winning every battle.

Something else I've noticed, I usually spam the starscream mission for his weapon (the one with hound, sludge, and swoop as cards). Since they did the update that increased our robot card cap to 200 and weapon cap to 100, I've battled him 12 times and not got his weapon, but he is now rewarding credits, 3 different values I've noticed, don't remember how much each but its 1700 or less so far.

I'm wondering if they made it where you can't get anymore copies of the weapon after you've gotten it from them once.

Can someone please tell me that's not the case, if it is, I'm done trying to level weapons.

If that's the case then they're fucking idiots.

Earning battle points is now a joke (remind me why I should be losing to someone half my level?) and now this?

This is why I've played it once this week. There's just no reason.

So for all of you crying out "Bring it to iOS!" ... you're not missing anything.

Burn, what is your gamertag for this game?

I've been keeping an eye out for joesaysso and I would like to look for you as well

It would be awfully convenient if they would add back the ability to search for people by name

Also, they are starting the new robots in the skys episode today

Im excited an all because it gives me something to look forward to but I feel bad for all the people that are low level or miss out on episodes.

Maybe they should consider running the episodes with a scale based on your available max deck power or level or something.

This way, low level people would have a better shot at getting a 1-100 rank because they are competing with people like them.

Maybe that takes too much server resources but my opinion is people would enjoy this game more if they felt like they constantly were moving forward with something to work on like leveling up a new card.
Re: Mobage Teases Their Next Transformers: Legends Event "Robots in the Sky" (1480144)

What do you consider low level?

Because i'm level 139, and I have to face off against people that are around level 50 and have rank 4 Thrust cards (and some other rank 4 non-episode cards).

And I go by "dilborgenator", good luck finding me, like you said, you should be able to add the people YOU want not total random strangers.
Re: Mobage Teases Their Next Transformers: Legends Event "Robots in the Sky" (1480157)

I guess player level is not really a good way

Here is an example, my best deck is around 7200 pts.

I currently do the huffer trick and keep 3 good leaders so my deck pts go down to 2000

This enables me to battle people around 2000 pt decks so I can win a lot

When I posted earlier, I said BEST AVAILABLE DECK.

So even if I tried to do the huffer trick to be put in an episode of people with decks of 2000 pts, I wouldn't be able to because I have much better cards available that bring my deck value up to 7200. This would prevent me (hopefully) from abusing episode ranks.

And just so it wouldn't cause people to be forced into using their best deck even if they aren't going to participate, they have an opt in option to do an episode, like a tournament.

When you opt in, you get evaluated on your best configuration for the tournament.

Maybe this is a completely bad idea, I just feel that if a new player is put with a bunch of new players with easier bosses, they would have more fun than trying to keep up with the players that already won the insecticon episode and seem to be the people who are going to keep winning because of the already maxed cards they have.

Opinions and thoughts everyone? Feel free to call me a dumb***, I take criticism well.

The event has started. Not much to report after one full energon bar worth of scanning for bosses. I faced 4 or 5 bosses, the best of which being a level 2 Acid Storm. I'm confused about why the top rewards are rank 4 Thundercracker and Skywarp. Wasn't there already Rank 4 TC and SW in the deck? I'm saving my gold medals until the end this time (I think) and cashing in my silvers as I go to level up other cards.

And the first thing I noticed is that they are giving all Rare 4 cards x2 attack

Great for everybody that has a bunch of Rare 4 cards

Here is what pisses me off about that, everybody that won shrapnels and bombshells from the insecticon episode seem to be the ones that also won snarls and slugs from the dinobot episode.

This buff just further supports everyone that has those cards (not to mention the mirages and thrusts that people purchased) will be the one's that have no problem with the bosses later on and will win the rare 4 cards of this episode.

I guess I should stop pissing and moaning about it and just go try and win something.

Good luck to everyone

Burn, I hope you severely beat the crap out of many using that fatty Megs of yours.

Admittedly, I wasn't paying much attention, I did not notice the buff for super rare cards. I own 3, none are transcanned and only one is good enough to make it into my main deck. Could be a good thing if Super Rares actually drop from the space bridge.

Agreed on the pissing and moaning part. The last event completely erased any expectations that I had built from the Insecticon event. I'm starting with a clean slate and expect to experience much of the same things, for better and worse, from the dinobot event. With this set of expectations, I can't get let down too much. I usually like the first few days of the episode, as they allow me to get some cards leveled fast. Beyond that, if I get a good prize or pull a super rare out of the bridge, they'll just be nice bonuses.

Good luck to Team Seibertron. Monuo and Burn (dilborgenator), I'll be looking for your names in the coming days when co-op starts. I'll be there if your call for help comes my way.

Ya, I've actually got the robot mode to thundercracker maxed, his stats started at 2261/5200/401 and ended at 5969/12000/1608.

The reward thundercracker robot starts at 4450/880/505.

So I guess the new plan is to bastardize the original rare 4 cards that people have paid so much money and worked so hard just to obtain. Also, the new thundercracker has a weapon call thundercracker's weapon 2.

I just noticed that not all my rare 4 cards are getting the bonus.

Only snarl (ya I got one) and arcee, my thundercracker and megatron aren't. I wonder if its only the episode and special rare 4 cards that get the bonus.

Does anyone else have bonuses on their rare 4 cards?

I went to the guaranteed rare 4 bonus spacebridge and watched the preview cards spin around for a awhile and what I noticed was only the Rare 4 Autobots were showing with the bonus.

I bet since we are battling decepticon jets that only the rare 4 autobots get bonuses.

Can anyone confirm or disprove that?

Burn, does your Megs get the bonus?

It is only the rare 4 autobots getting the 2x bonus for this event.

Also, the rewards are event rare 4's which are different from the standard rare 4's.

My rare 4 skywarp has different art than the episode rare 4 reward.

Yeah, I understood this perfectly. The point I was making is that it seems wasteful to me. Why not make the Acid and Sun Storm cards the 4s? This is the first we are seeing of these characters. Make them 4s to go along with the rest of the seeker 4s. Or throw a Ramjet 4 in there. Its a jet episode and he didn't get the episode treatment with the other coneheads from the last episode.

I mean, its not anything that overly upsets me or anything. I'm not going to get up on my soapbox and complain how the episode is ruined because of the rewards. I just found it odd that the devs would do such a thing.

When scanning for bosses with a full energon bar that provides 13 total scans, getting 7 missile tapping Swoops in a row probably means you're not getting very many points this time around. :BANG_HEAD:

**edit**

Have not seen a Sunstorm yet. best I've seen is Level 4 Acidstorm. I actually assisted somebody on a level 1 Acidstorm. Didn't think I'd get any assists this early in the episode.

I've seen Sunstorm. Either my weapons have been neutered or he's very tough because it took ages to take him down.

I also helped someone out with Acid Storm. (points are points)

I've noticed that when a triple attack triggers, it runs through ALL cards so they all perform triple attacks.

Oh and I do get a level 4 bonus, but only for Grimlock. I also get a bonus for Autobots with their assigned weapons.

More crap from the Autobot propaganda machine trying to bring down the 'Cons.

I have to be honest, I like the bonus changes that they have made for this event. X2 bonus for Autobot super rares and X1.05 for autobot cards with matching weapons is smart. With the added space due to the raised card limit, it gives you a good reason to keep a proper deck of both factions. If there's another autobot episode, I could be in good shape, as all of my best cards are decepticons.

Nothing significant to report with this episode so far. I've pulled no significant cards and I current sit in the 2600s.

My team is strongest with my decepticons as well and the winnings from tgis campaign will make it even better.

Ive traded in around 800the silver so far, got a rare 4 galvatron A, bunch of the usual 3s. No cliffjumpers or jazzes.

So far im hanging at 1000 and i havent used any extras that were given at the start. Gonna save that for when everybody has to start helping each other.

I can take down sunstorm lvl 4 with 1the cube no problem, lvl 5 sometimes needs 2. Skywarp and up will definately need 2, thats when i plan to start using only 1want and asking for help so my cubes stay up until they arent giving cubes as rewards anymore.

We've hit the "boring" phase of the episode. Skywarp is out. They are over-powered, nobody can beat them on their own without a large cube investment, and nobody wants to waste their time or resources knowing that there is another boss and much higher points yet on the horizon.

Yep, I've donated 12 cubes today and only 1 skywarp was killed. I started out this morning around 1300. It is 13 hours later and I've gone down only 100 or so ranks. Definitely slow until the other bosses start hitting. Either that or everyone doesn't want to spend money on an episode that started only 1 week after the last one ended.

Guess we'll wait and see what thundercracker and all the lvl 7 bosses bring. I'm saving til the last couple bosses. I've got 200 cubes and 70 small explore recharges waiting.

Burn, Joe, if I see you ask for help, I'll drop cubes for you.

I had a crap load of energon restores that I should have used at the start of the game to help bank up some battle cubes.

Last episode I was able to get up to around 200 battle cubes before the tougher bosses started to hit. This time I just missed out on making 100. Now i'm down to around 80. Waiting for my own to recharge before helping others and only using up my restores when I have first attack (so I get them back)

Saving up for the next episode, this one's effectively lost.

There's a few things I wonder about this game.

- Are we going to get any second chances at collecting other episode cards like the insecticons

- Are they going to make trading available (doubt it because that would possibly cannibalize their own sales from space bridge)

- Are they going to add more missions that are much harder in order to gain access to rare 4 cards

- Are they going to make rare 5+ cards

- how many of the players are "bots" that have been programmed in by the developers to make it look like more people are playing than in reality

- the top 10 in the episodes seem to consist of the same people every episode, are they real and do they really spend that much money on this game that they have millions of pts when the rest of us are just reaching 100,000 (for example, all 3 episodes I've noticed 3 players always in the top 10, pcpianist, ezyeric, and canadianconcret. I have them as allies and they are very high level.)

- how many of the players are actually developers and possibly allowed to program in unlimited amounts of resources for their selves in order to falsely create close competition in hopes it will drive some players to make that one more purchase of cubes to gain the lead.

- I saw a cheat/trainer here:
http://crackandhackgames.blogspot.com/2 ... heats.html
It doesn't seem legitimate because everything it promises (like unlimited mobacoins) would mean you would have to trick their servers into having those same ammounts. I'm sure like other online games, once the server sees discrepencies, it corrects them or notifies moderators to investigate.

- I battle one player that had 2 complete episode jazzes, and 4 complete cliffjumpers. Seems very unlikely but not impossible unless you spend a lot of money on the bridge. Brings me back to the unlimited mobacoins thing or developer players.

Any thoughts or speculation from anyone else?

Doubt it.

Doubt it. Plus you'd have to have some very nice allies who are willing to give up super rare cards.

- Are they going to add more missions that are much harder in order to gain access to rare 4 cards

Hopefully the add some missions period.

- Are they going to make rare 5+ cards

Hopefully not. The average player will probably never fill out their cyberdex with the rare 4's anyway.

Who knows.

I've seen "Con Crete" on their FB page. I wouldn't be surprised if they're sharing accounts.

I doubt they would bother with that.

It's tempting ...

It is a possibility. Who knows how much money people pump into this game.

The way I figure it though, you spend $90 on it, you may as well go out and buy a console game.

As far as the hack goes, I don't think its a problem. I highly doubt that its even real. But while I'm 50/50 on its authenticity, I'm nearly 100% sure that its not a huge problem right now. For starters, a google search for legitimate sources of user feedback yeilds bupkis. Not one "it really works" comment, not one "don't use it, I got banned" comment, nothing. Secondly, every link you click on, including the one you provided just takes you to one of those advertisment websites that make you fill out endless surveys and view ads before it will download. The funniest thing I saw about it the ad website is that there is a statement that said: "your file will download after the second screen is completed. If the download does not start after one minute, just choose another survey". If the hack is real, which I doubt at this point, I really doubt enough people would deal with the advertisment scams long enough to actually get the file to where it would make a significant impact on the game.

I have seen a lot of "playerxxxxxxxx" out there this episode. I have been very curious about the use of bots and what sort of impact that they are having. As you said, there ultimate goal has to be to encourage people to spend more money. But are they contributing in any way? Are they doing any damage to your bosses if you call them for help?

For the same players in the top 10 every episode, I view that as the snowball effect. They had what it took to get the top prize in the first episode. The rewards only made their deck stronger. Now they are more suited to get the top prize in the next episode and so on. The way the episode are structured, its very much the rich get richer and the poor stay poor scenario. Unless the poor want to spend real money and hope that the randomness of your bridge draws goes your way, not wasting your money, and gives you resources to break the loop.

I would not mind seeing episodes recycled thus providing multiple opportunities at episode specific cards that have been missed. If the ultimate goal is to complete your deck, this just makes sense. Of course, since it makes sense, its probably automatically ruled out by the developers of the game.

Developers playing the game: I would hope that there would be, actually. I would hope that they would be playing their own game. To me, it seems like the best way to scout for bugs and see how their episodes are running. I don't think that developer cheating is a problem worth worrying about though. Even if it happens, the prize scales are wide enough that real players can get the prizes that they are willing to pay for. However, given the all 3 episodes have generally suffered form the some problems, either they aren't playing or they just don't care to fix problems that would make the game more enjoyable but possibly take money out of mobage's pockets.

And speaking of...for that player that you encountered with a deck full of epsiode cards, I wouldn't be surprised if that player dumped that much money into the bridge. If I was going to pay money, it would be to the episode bridge to try and get the cards that will make a difference in the episode. And quite frankly, we are commenting on a forum that belong to a community of people where some have little problem spending thousands of dollars a year on 3rd party, not quite but looks a lot like transformers. Don't let it surprise you how quickly people will part with their money if they feel so inclined.

I just got a help call from "xdiseptikon". I don't know if that was our fellow seibertronian "diseptikon" or not but I threw a cube on it just in case. For as much good as one cube did anyway.
