Michael Bay Statement Regarding Transformers 4 Pflugerville, TX Fire

I’m reading how the news makes everything more dramatic than real life. I guess the truth was just too unexciting. Yes there was a small smoldering fire at a house and no, no one was injured during the fire. And no, no one “just narrowly escaped” as the news dramatically states. A crew member though twisted his ankle after falling in a gopher hole on the ranch.

The fire was put out in a brief 15 minutes by a great fire crew on set. It was an attic fire and cause is unknown. No we were not shooting in the attic, we were shooting outside on the ranch.

That's true the media did blow it wrong. Only think it was a old house but that's it'. Things happen.. Yea there here for another week in Texas then moving to Detriot... I was the only person in my town to get close up pics of the cars.

Love the bit about the poor guy twisting his ankle in a gopher hole. Hope he is OK of course. But this is why the media is such a pain. It's not that they lie they are just damn good at twisting the truth.

Yea te media messes everything up at times. Poor guy. Are you guys enjoying the weather and awesome scenery?

erm, who knows? I don't know. But the idea of it not being Optimus seems insane to me - the flat nose truck form is what too many people see as the iconic image of Prime for it to be Galvatron or Hot Rod or whoever imhmfo. Maybe it's just a homage like they did with the VWBeetle in #1, which would be kinda lame.. but I'm hoping it's just that all the known bots need to change their alt modes to improve their disguises what with all their previous high profile activities n all. A change in size wouldn't remotely bother me. Prime changing alt mode to his G1 form, with a movie aesthetic/blend in robo mode would, to me, be AWESOME. still, whatever, I'm loving the intrigue.
