I'd be willing to believe this.
Oh and if he's $60.00...I'm all over that.

Zombie Starscream wrote:I just went on the Wal-Mart site, they have an online catalogue (sp?) that you can order from. I think it is likely (though not 100% certain but very likely) that people overseas can order from them. So it may not matter if you don't live near a Wal-mart's, (either in the US or overseas) you can still get the Anime varient without having to go on E-Bay. (And its probably cheaper too.)
I agree, and lets hope its true, cause that would be awesome!!! but lets hope as well that if Hasbro is releasing the "Anime Accurate Starscream as a Wal-mart Exclusive, could we possibly get a Box that has a fold over cover and window packaging like their Generation One reissues?? that stupid 20th anniversary prime packaging sucks!!! it was very easily damaged and is not what a nice figure like Starscream should be packaged in!!!!

The same can not be said about Wal-Mart. I cringe everytime I hear about another Wal-Mart exclusive. The odds that I won't have to drive 4 hours to find a Wal-Mart that has them is are pretty low even though there are 20+ Super Wal-Mart stores between here and there.
Wal-Mart sucks.

Fuck em.
£30 for an American to buy, £80 for me to get off of ebay, which may or (probably won't) may not include packaging.
Strike two Hasbro, strike fucking two.

Masterpiece Screamer in G1 colors =
*BUZZ* Incorrect.
TFW is next to worthless when it comes to news, in terms of accuracy.
In fact, their own pictures of Masterpiece Starscream debunk the bullsh*t they just pull out of their asses.
Look here:
http://www.tfw2005.com/gallery/showphot ... 1/cat/1811
The card says
*WAL-MART EX
MASTERP
Sitting right in front of the figure. NOTE: I typed what was shown on the card as is, so no, I didn't mistype that quoted part there.
Now back to this news tid bit...right there in front of their very eyes, a picture taken by them, clearly says Wal-Mart, and these idiots go on and on about TRU? Oh yeah, real dependable source right there. =\
With that blatant ignorance, among many other things, it should be easy for people to see why I can't stand TFW.
Anywho, I'm glad he's coming and he's only like $45-50.00...I'm so there.

what are you talking about? have you even seen the starscream? it looks fantastic, and besides even if the dealer had anything to do with the quality (which it doesnt) it would be the same if it were a general release or a target, or tru, etc exclusive. Hasbro's the ones making it, not walmart. The only thing walmart has any part of this figure is being he official carrier for it.vittorio_vlad wrote:so that's why the figure looked like poop. just like that masterpiece optimus they released with the talking stand.

I can't wait to get screamer. Hopefully he'll show up on their website for those who can't make it to an actual store. If anything this is far better than it being a botcon exclusive, at least now you can get hook ups at price from fellow collectors. Why even complain about the price when it's $40 cheaper than the alternative which has improper colors?
Posted by Zombie Starscream on June 29th, 2007 @ 3:25pm CDT
I had just went on Wal-Marts and I read the stuff they have on International Customers, and it says they only ship orders within the 50 States and US Protectorates and major territories. When I saw "International Customer" I assumed automatically that they shipped overseas, and I didn't check to make sure it was so.
I am sorry.

**** em.

Strike two Hasbro, strike **** two.
Since Hasbro is a US company who's primary market happen to be the United States, I'd say that doing US exclusives is normal. Being international usually mean having different marketing strategies around the world, and so far I'd say their doing a pretty decent job deploying all the segmented market. So take a deep breath with the current depreciation of the USD, you might get a good deal. If you want for less than eBay, get someone to buy it for you and send it over, can't cost much more than 30-35USD for shipping if there is no diecast. That's what I'll do.
Sorry, I'm getting tired of people complaining about how Hasbro should run thing and all. You just happen to be the last post a have read about it
Ho, and me like! I just hope they will have more stock than they did when they released 20th ann Prime.
