And yeah, I do look forward to this figure, I love the seemingly stabile roller feet, the sculpt is intresting, although I'd like to see him as a S7 fig and not an AutoBot(it's something that bothers me about the Target S7 scouts).
Still, emachiated gullet, roller feet, murderer mask, claws, whats not to like
Outside of seeing how the QC on this guy is, I have no grips.

I predict he'll be the Concept BB of the Allspark line- despsperately sought after and hard to find. I wonder if Kohl's will come thru again...

Not a chance. Hasbro's already said publicly that they will not be producing a figure of the Mountain Dew Machine.

That explains the low bid with less than 24 hours left...if that was a well described listing, I'm sure that bid would be a LOT higher.
...being in Hong Kong doesn't help either.

My opinion on the Mountain Dewbot:
If it was 1984 we would all be saving our robot points to get the exclusive mail-in Dewbot. C'mon Hasbro...we're still kids at heart here. Where's our robot points??? Our mail-in exclusive???

I guess he plays goalie for the Autobot hockey team.

Anyway- Landmine? Awesome. All the non-show movie guys I've picked up so far have been truly spiffy. Even Dreadwing. From the waist up, anyway.

no, i doubt it as some time ago there was a post here about the Allspark figures as well as the packaging. they will still use the TFTM style packaging, only with differentiated text indicating that this toy and such belonged to the Allspark line.

zemper wrote:hmmm, at first i wasn't too keen on getting any of the Allspark figures, seeing as how my search for my TFTM chases are constantly draining my wallet, plus these toys have no official media appearance...but after seeing those pics and the posability this toy has, i might change my mind and buy this one off the bat.

He was in the movie you know. The bio for him says he was brought to life by a stray bolt from the Allspark or something like that. Did you look at the vehicles Sevtor 7 was driving in the end of the movie. Landmine was among them!

Most of the things I've bought from him, I recieve the item incredibly fast, a few times I got the item 2 days after I paid for it. If you guys want to bid on the toy but are cautious about the seller, don't be afraid, the guy is pretty reliable, at least from my experiences I have never had any problems with him.
(ALSO a worthy note: Heerotoys is also the guy behind all the worlds smallest transformers reproductions such as the trailer (the original seller and maker of these), and he has been working on remolded seekers to give us worlds smallest ramjet and thrust. I know he put a few runs of his prototypes of the two for auction in the past. Not sure if he's mass producing them yet.)

"Sweet alt mode!"
"...damn, the robot mode is ugly. "
"Well...not too bad."
"Wow, poseable...and cool looking!"
"Why is this guy an Autobot??"
"Does he.....have rollerskates?"
In conclusion: Buy.

Nor the "Allspark Power" Blue on him.
Otherwise he looks to be an outstanding figure!

Caelus wrote:I like the wheel feet, but I amm concerned that the sliding joint that holds the wheels down will loosen eventually, and he'll no longer be able to stand (as the wheels on his heels will simply slide upward under his weight, causing him to fall over backward).
Not if there's some sort of lock for the wheels in robot mode.

Hmm, I guess it must be made up. But it is pretty similar to real ones:

Probably based on the same chassis, if not a similar one, they're both buggies either way.
But im definately getting my hands on this one. I might buy 3 of him.

For some reason I figured they based it on a VW Bug chassis... probably because they made a lot of kit cars like that.
