Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Star Trek feature, Fringe, Alias), who wrote the Transformer movies, are also helming the animated Transformers TV series for Hasbro and The Hub. Davis’ A-Team approach is working “remarkably brilliantly,” Kurtzman tells B&C. “There is a stigma about things being done by committee creatively, but there is so much to be done, so much of a well to draw from,” Kurtzman says. “Everyone feels protected to do their best work because the message from the top down is that you’re supported in your vision.” Kurtzman adds that he and Orci would “like to work with [Davis] forever.”

For those out of the loop of course, Transformers: Prime is the new cartoon debuting on Hasbro's HUB television channel. But you probably knew that, or not.

Okay, okay; *deep breath*. Maybe Bay is the problem. Star Trek was a lot better (that is to say I enjoyed it, not that was merely not bad), so they can tell a fairly decent adventure. Who knows, perhaps their style is better suited to a show format.
You're killing me Hasbro

As under the radar as such a revelation will probably fly, and as much as movie fans will deny that anything movie related was less than tremendous, I think this is a pretty solid statement. If you bad mouth the story or the actual film, the 'blame' for 'ruining' the films is always shifted around from these two to Bay to me as a human being who had nothing to do with the movie, so I think yes, this may give us all a party where we can at least say "Well, look at how Prime turned out...." before we get lynched by movie fanatics.

They also did The Proposal, which I found to be both hilarious and heart-warming. I think it was just Bay's tampering that affected the movies. If you watc hthe audio commentaries, Bay points out a lot of things in the movies that we didn't like yet he did like because they were his ideas (mostly some random humor stuff).Requiem Prime wrote:Okay, okay; *deep breath*. So even if it is any better than the writing for the actual movie, it still takes place within a scrap continuity for me, thus I wont be watching it.
On the bright side of this, I wont be wasting any money on the toys for TF: Prime so I can stay focused on the Generations line, and any TFA toys I still want!
Edit:

I'd take things like this as a guide into that matter.
TFWiki wrote:Orci and Kurtzman said the twins' portrayal was not in their script, that they were disappointed in the characters and admitted that they could understand if others were offended by the characters.
