Kids Logic have unveiled on their facebook page a fully licensed Super Deformed Optimus Prime figure. According to the page, this figure stands 18 cm tall. There is no word if this guy is transformable but there do appear to be some moving parts in the chest area, perhaps maybe for a matrix. As always, stayed tuned to Seibertron.com for all your Transformers news.

That thing is so adorable. :x

I can see it having a Matrix accessory, but as for transforming, with a giant head like that, I don't see tht as a possibility.

Cuter than Softimus Prime, the Robot Heroes Prime (and other releases of his) and the Kreon Primes, this guy is the most cutest Prime I've ever seen! I'm gonna tell Kids Logic to shut up, and take my money right away! Even if he doesn't transform (mainly because of the big head), I'll still buy this guy and put him with the Robot Heroes!

The Kids Logic one doesn't transform. The one that does is a 3rd Party product.

It bothers me that EVERY time someone does an awesome COE rig like this, they insist on having giant feet hang off the back of the vehicle mode.

So it's a "chibi-fied" version of MP-10? I'm strangely tempted to get him and pose him next to his full-sized MP brother, sitting on MP-10's shoulder.

Whoa, I really like this one, but the price is rather uncool. 229 € in local store which is the only one who sells these so far. That is harsh. It is cheaper in big bad toystore, but there might be customs fees to add that etc. so it is not going to be cheap in any ways :-(

My brain is screaming "I WANT IT, I NEED IT!!" and my wallet is saying "Pffffffttt...hahahahaha...good freaking luck with that!"
This little SD Prime kicks so much ass but I just can't justify getting him for no bigger than he is and the fact that it's non-transforming compared with how much they are charging for him.
Never mind the fact that it's the holiday season and the only ones getting toys in my household for the next month are the kids. I can't even afford a lump of coal for myself after doing the Christmas shopping.

Hate to say it, but if it weren't for the deformed proportions, this would have to be one of the best looking Primes around in terms of colour, style, lights and detail. Makes me want one!
Re: Kids Logic Unveils Super Deformed Optimus Prime (1534681)
Posted by Shadowstream on December 12th, 2013 @ 12:46am CST
I'm not into the whole deformed thing, but even so the details and shapes are pretty badass for something so... cutesy. One thing is a bit perplexing though; What's with angle on his wrists? Early pictures here seem to show the ends of his forearms at a clean and strait angle, and now they're bent ridiculously inward.

Edit: Need to remind myself not to get excited about overpriced crap :BANG_HEAD:

they need to make Starscream like this.....and lower the price because that's a lil expensive for such a tiny figure. if he was 12 inches or higher then ok but yeah.
Re: Kids Logic Unveils Super Deformed Optimus Prime (1534852)

Ah, Chibimus Prime.

This thing's been on pre-order at my local hobby shop, and it's been tempting me to no end...and I don't even collect SD!

There's just something inexplicably cool and badass about it, despite those cutesy proportions. I just love that it lights up in so many places, especially the Autobot logo.

I just can't see myself paying that much for a non-transforming OP, though, and an SD one at that.

You're not being trolled. It's a low production specialty item compared to regular retail items. The amount of batteries and lights in this toy are what justifies the price. It's a high end collector's item.

Each light has its own set of AG1 batteries. A set of three of those batteries from Energizer or Duracell (which will last much longer than the cheap versions sold on Amazon or eBay) will run around $15 or so. Each foot has a set of batteries, as does the gun, the chest, the head, and the left shoulder/Autobot symbol. I like this approach so that the figure can retain its posability instead of being limited because of wires running from a common battery source.

Looking forward to Megatron!

I haven't decided whether or not I'm getting this, but it looks pretty fun. As far as desk fodder at work goes, this is top of the line, and adorable to boot. Might just have to make the plunge.

I like this fig. I've been trying to find a cheap MP-10 for my girlfriend (believe it or not her last name is Prime) but this little fig might be a good substitute since actually transforming the figures sort of intimidates her.

Oh......and are batteries included?! i sure hope so after hearing it be explained how expensive they are.
Re: Kids Logic Unveils Super Deformed Optimus Prime (1539058)

Normally there's only so far I'm willing to go to invest in a non-transforming "Transformer" but right about now I'm coveting this thing so badly I'm seriously debating which internal organ I need the least so I can snag this glorious work of art without shooting my whole meager budget to hell.
This is one of the coolest Primes I've ever seen and I wouldn't hesitate one second to put this in a clear display box and make it the centerpiece of my entire Prime collection.

The 15 small batteries are included inside of the figure. Unfortunately, the batteries were dying that were in his upper left arm/shoulder for the Autobot symbol. I thought the light seemed really weak at first and then it quit working altogether. $17 later at Walgreens, I was the proud owner of 3 new Energizer 364 batteries that are the same as the AG1 batteries. Supposedly, the name brand batteries of this type will last much longer. However, you can get cheaper versions that don't last as long from Amazon.com at http://www.amazon.com/SE-AG1-Batteries-Pkg-10/dp/B003OD8DAE/ref=sr_1_1?tag=seibertron07-20&ie=UTF8&qid=1388726734&sr=8-1&keywords=ag1. I couldn't complete the gallery without the batteries all working so I had to buy the more expensive ones instead of being able to wait for the ones from Amazon.

The plastic quality is nice. It doesn't feel fragile. He has a little bit of weight to him. He comes in at 9 ounces. In comparison, the larger and taller Masterpiece Soundwave figure (without any cassettes in him), weighs in at 14 ounces.
