Thanks to the
Aubobase Aichi, we have discovered that the Japanese Toys R Us store chain will be offering a limited edition Arms Micron during its Golden Week. The figure is limited to 6000 customers and can be collected by spending at least 3000 yen in Transformers Products. The figure itself appears to be a redeco of the Arms Micron that came with Prime Smokescreen. The image has been mirrored below as well as a comparison to the Smokescreen micron. Check it out, and let us know what you think in the comments section. And as always stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all your latest Transformers News and Galleries!

The original Micron's name is S.2 (from Smokescreen), but no news on the name of the redeco it seems. Hopefully the assembly instructions are fixed this time around.

I was all done with Microns, had bought them all, no seriously I did, then this new generation comes around wanting to be all "Hey guy, I heard you like campaign Microns, so we put an Arms Micron in your Adventure Microns so you can build while you Micron" and I'm just like, "Awesome, let's do this."

The translucent burgandy makes him look like he's made out of beef jerky.

Remember that little
arms micron dude we said was going to be an exclusive for the Japanese Toys R Us market? Well, following a trail laid out by ScottyP and leading back to the
Autobase Aichi, we now have new images of the special Micron that will be the prize for 6000 special customers! These images show off the new guy, but we have yet to learn of a name. *sigh* That's why you should leave the assembling of model kits to the fans: the arms are swapped. Especially nasty since the figure is clear plastic! I dread the backpack the most, however.

You guys know what's funny? According to that sign in the first pic, this Micron's name appears to be "Burn".
That's Jin, an older campaign Micron from over two years ago. This red one is new.

Remember how a little while ago we saw
that little red micron dude and said it was for a limited edition campaign for the Japanese Toys R Us market? Well, that campaign is now beginning, and to add to the event we now have word of a
SECOND Micron that will also be available. This new little guy is blue and has been named Rain to go with the red guy whose name is Burn. Guess someone likes out favorite Staff Member from down under! We have mirrored the images below for you to take a look. Check them out and let us know what you think in the comments section down below. And as always stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all your latest Transformers News and Galleries.

Another clear C.L.? Eep. I have my Shadow C.L. break at the knee joint. Not fun...
And I'm predicting a third Micron soon, one with a Trapezoid Crystal

I don't normally go for these guys, even in general release let alone limited edition, but I guess I should pick up the little red guy huh?

I really miss the days where Minicons turned into vehicles.

Rain looks pretty sweet, would like one. I have the normal release green version of that minicon, he is Sparkplug as Uni Hound's targetmaster in my headcanon.

Fellow Seibertronians, we have some more TakaraTomy news, especially for those of you who are fans of the "Arms Micron" line. They announced recently via their
website that there will be two new Arms Micron variants, available through a promotion. One a redeco of
Prime Arms Micron Dago now called "Micron Ink" and the other a redeco of
Prime Arms Micron Zori, now called "Micron Sting".
Ink will be included, starting today, in Japanese Toys R Us Transformer purchases more than 3000 yen.
Sting, however, will be available at these retailers, beginning on the 21st:
Aeon Sapporo Hiraoka
Aeon Style Mito Uchihara
Aeon Style Lake Town
Edion
Hakuhinkan Toy Park Ginza
Hakubotan Ishinomaki
Bic Camera
Yamada Denki
Yodobashi Camera
UPDATE! We now have an additional image of Micron Ink from
TFYuki's twitter! The new image below shows Ink in his weapon ("Arms") mode, being weilded by what appears to be a G2 Convoy!
Check out the images below and tell us in the comments: Will you be getting these new promotional variants? Do you like them more or less than the original decos? And, as always, your best place for Takara and Hasbro Transformers news is right here, on Seibertron.com
